Let's see if I can run one of these strange and wondrous forum RP's after years of instant messaging, eh?

@Sombrero, No problem- just trying to do the DM a courtesy and also not peep your sheet out of my curiosity xD
You have until SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14TH to PM me your sheet, then we'll get this show on the road.

People seem to miss this xD

Unless he said you could post it here-

In that case -I- missed that somewhere.
I don't mind time period nor care for specific firearms, so the year being earlier is good- just give me a solid so I can fix up some details and finish ironing out details.

I'll have to postpone my sheet until tomorrow however due to fencing and whatnot.
@Jbcool, It gives me some wiggle room to flesh out a character post civil war is all I meant xD
To be honest, the guns are superficial on top of the characters themselves- I got sudden inspiration when I started writing up my sheet and it'll take me a little longer than anticipated to iron out the details, but I rather like what I have in mind. If all goes well, I'll have it in to JB by the end of the day.

The extra time after 1865 is actually extraordinarily beneficial character-wise xD
Huh. '73. I'll stop nerding out on guns and focus on character now xD

Interesting, I'll have some semblance of a concept in to you by the deadline.
So much gun, so little time.

I'll fade into lurking for reals now xD need to try and scrape together inspiration if I dream of joining.
@Monochromatic Rainbow, the later repeating firearms of the 1870's onward are very fine weapons and the lever action firearm [specifying Winchester here] is a favorite of mine due to historic nostalgia, but there's a certain rustic charm about revolver carbines and muzzle loaded rifles that make things very.. Gritty and deliberate to me. It really is a toss-up as to what is cooler, really.

And if you ask me basically every other day you'll get a different answer as to what my favorite _______ is xD

With this taking place in '65, ol' Spencer and Henry rifles are rather the top dogs in the repeating rifle field, with muzzle-loaders still being widely used- and even revolver carbines being more prevalent in comparison to the lever-action rifles.
I uh

I think I'll just show up here quite unannounced and out of the blue to throw in a tentative interest and definitive lurking status. I'm highly rustic on my Old West history, but have a deep seated interest in the genre as of late.

I'll likely just lurk and observe if nobody'd mind me doing so, and if another character would be welcome if I can work up the inspiration to make one before the deadline I'd like to cast my lot in as well.

And thus Phoenix fades into the lurk-zone to refresh his memory on his favorite time period of firearms
