Let's see if I can run one of these strange and wondrous forum RP's after years of instant messaging, eh?

As of the assassination attempt, 5/6 of the Blackwells are what I'd consider to be 'chaotic' or 'neutral' in terms of lawfulness, and 1/6 of them 'good' in morality. So that speaks to them, now doesn't it? xD
@TheDuncanMorgan

I think you got it pretty much spot on, from my perspective, aye.

I'm thinking Ramfrey is the only one that really captures 'lawful good', at least from my limited perspective of him [I tend to not want to really read character sheets aside from brief skims to make sure there's no pressing information like 'oh yeah my people totally know this guy', etc. Just a quirk of mine for my own entertainment].

I think classifying folks as 'evil' is incredibly difficult to do in this kind of environment and atmosphere, but I can understand why you'd place those folks there in some regards.

As for the Blackwells, you got them in the right place yeah.

Drevala does fit the chaotic good quite nicely, and the Old Man is the definition of chaotic neutral. I'll just give the alignments of the others here in OOC, for the sake of completion, since the chart only has so many slots.

Beatrice falls into True Neutral quite heavily.

Eli Blackwell is Chaotic Neutral, as his father is.

Naomi Blackwell is....er, I suppose, 'was' Lawful Neutral, but after that assassination attempt who knows where she'll land... :P
That fight was intense. Like, not even exaggerating- it really was //intense//.
The post I got up just now was mostly a 'maintenance and updates to be made from the assassination to catch up to the current day' type thing, to update the family. Nothing really special but I wanted to do something to progress the 'round', as it were.

I had my first class today, and later today I have my first 'Introduction to Programming' course, which is exciting for me as I intend to major in computer science [systems] and this is one of the first steps towards that.

Allow me to nerd out in anxiety about that briefly, then go on with your days-

[more general]
Just arrived at my dorm and moved in, everything up here [in these mountains] is so drastically different than back home [by the ocean] and I honestly am just kinda overwhelmed by the change and how beautiful the scenery is.

Once I get settled in a bit more I'll set aside some time to write up [not rushing, just giving you guys affirmation that I'll get something up]
@TheDuncanMorgan

I make the six hour ride to college tomorrow morning, meaning I'll be internet-less for six hours (maybe more) and be transitioning into a dorm friday.

And classes start monday.

But uh, when I get through these manly tears of goodbye and settle down expect me to get something up of considerable size (should people throw diplomats at me before I get full focus to write, thus inflating my post size considerably - should I get time to write before then it will be of... Average size, unless inspiration strikes).

That being said I have huge amounts of time in my schedule unless my workload is heavy, which I don't know yet. I have one class a day, mon-fri, and they're all only 1-3 hours in length in the morning- but math is my bane!

Anyway I'm just trying to be thorough so as to avoid my disappearing act again.

Just know I'll have something up soon, mkay?
@Sundered Echo

Drevala feels very strongly she doesn't belong in her own skin and has dedicated herself to getting out of it, so she is rather scary with how many creatures and how efficiently she can go between them.

I didn't intend her to be considered an extraordinary mage or a particularly powerful one, but shapeshifting is rather rare and she's, perhaps, the most well versed shapeshifter there is due to her dedication to it.

I feel rather strongly, myself, that discussion about things moreso than dice will lead to more enriched RP and understanding amongst players.

I prefer discussion/pure RP more than dice, but am more than willing to comply to a dice roll if discussion cannot be agreed upon.
I must say, I'm curious to see where Lana fits on the 'talented mages' list... The swordsman one also likely has a new member...

Interesting numbers to see.

And YES! Mage bloodline on the throne here we come!

The Remonnet's had a mage on the throne once, if I recall correctly. He kinda went 'poof' and disappeared thoughhhh...

But wow, yeah. If Aurelia and Duncan go through with everything then.. Wow, glad they instituted those better-mage-treatment laws, eh?
@MacabreFox Given these are medieval cities the population sizes are quite small (at least in comparison to today's standards). Back in those days near everyone lived in a rural area. I would say the populations are as follows:

1)Nyhem: 50,000
2)Vine: 45,000
3)Mercy: Too be decided by @PhoenixWhite
4)Andromeda: 30,000
5)Cawaport: 25,000

@MacabreFox

Oh good, I was way way way over-shooting that. Make Mercy ~45,000 then, meaning the mage population would be ~90 as well according to Vine's comparison, though likely slightly higher due to the meritorious nature of Alenius and that, in most cases, Mages can outdo a mundane in job efficiency through the help of magic... so I'd say probably ~100 mages in Mercy on average.

I adore world-building and I think that expanding the world outside and around Formaroth would give some OOC perspective on Formaroth itself, if that makes sense.

I think the addition of some other continents and races is an excellent proposition and I'll gladly brainstorm, should that be desired.

As for the things you've listed there yourself, I think they sound great. They give us more information for the elves and the world, and seem to be...tame enough to not shake the foundations of anything we know and understand, if that makes sense.
