Adopting Family

Emmie was adopted and so was all of her family. Her mother was adopted when she was 3 and her father was adopted to the house next door when he was 4. They met at school, found they had lots in common, fell in love. Grew up together, got married one day and worked in a very well payed job together. They managed to buy a large house and became kind of rich from their job. They decided to adopt a child then they adopted more and they have powers that they know about.

Emmie has almost always been an orphan. She went with her parents on a plane ride back home as they gave birth to her on holiday. The plane went through a storm and crashed. her parents were killed but Emmie luckily survived and now only has a scar on her back from it. She was in a foster home for 9 years before she was sent back to the place in charge of her when they found out she had powers. She was there for 5 years and became very stubborn and angry until her current parents came and adopted her.

Past before fostering: As a young child Kami couldn't control her power. She would randomly grow wings. Her parents despised both Kami and her wings. When she was three her parents locked here out of the house. And since Kami was going to refill their bird feeder she was holding bird food. Well, the birds around Kami's house were very aggressive and attacked her. They caused many scars and Kami was unlucky enough to lose her vision to them. Kami slowly learned how to navigate without being able to see. She also learned how to control her power. A few years later Kami and her parents went on a camping trip. They didn't hate her as much now that she could control her power. On the trip her parents encountered snakes, poisonous ones. Kami was lucky to escape, but her parents not so much. Kami was then taken to an orphanage, where she made sure not to show her wings,

Ivalio

Name: Ivalio Itzal
Nickname: Watchdog, Wolf.
Age: 17
Past before fostering: When he lived with his family, it was fairly simple. It was him, his big sister and parents. They all rarely talked to one another and no one interacted unless if they were eating. One night, when both parents were asleep, he caught a glimpse of his sister sneaking out, probably to meet up with some friends for a drink. He ignored it and soon went to sleep. When he woke up, he checked the daily news, as always, to find that someone had murdered a group of young girls. They had been identified and their names soon appeared. He wasn't shocked to find his sister's name there, while his parents were devastated. In fear that they were being targeted (They had recently been involved in several groups that were quite well-known.), they sent their son to an orphanage, giving him red contacts to hide the colour of his eyes with. After spending some weeks there, news spread fast that several families had been killed, linked with the other incident. He hardly felt anything.
Personality: When Ivalio was a kid, he was diagnosed with congenital analgesia, where someone cannot feel physical pain. He can register the tough of others, but sometimes not the temperature. This made him slightly more unsociable, because of the fear that he would get bullied. He's always been emotionless and silent, so much that sometimes you can't hear if he walks to the side or behind you. He is extremely hard to anger and annoy and since he is quite emotionless, you're scewed if he does get annoyed. He enjoys it when others seem terrifying and they get frustrated from not getting a reaction out of him.
Fears: He fears the ability to feel pain and for others to know of it.
Power: He can see wounds on the body and mind, that includes internal, external and ones healed/scarred over. With the persons mental state, it's colour coded.
Other: He often dies his hair black because he hates his natural red hair. His eyes are purple and gold, gold on the right, purple on the left. He does wear red contacts to cover them up.

Eris

Eris is 5'10,130 pounds,has a black pixie cut styles hair with a blue streak on her side-swept bangs and has green eyes that turn into red-eyes with arrow shaped pupils when using her powers.She'll commonly wear hoodies and a cap but she will wear anything she feels like wearing.

Past before fostering:She was the daughter of a rich married couple and hated it.They barely got together with the exception of breakfast,lunch,and dinner and the only reason they got her was for their reputation.Soon at the age of 6 she discovered her powers but kept them a secret until she was 12,that's when they discovered them.Horrified,they sent her to an orphanage and she lived there for 5 years.
Personality:Eris is lazy and kind of arrogant.Once in a while she likes to tease someone and uses lies to get away with things.Also,most of the time she'll give someone a nickname that they'll possibly hate and she dislikes positive people and prefers negative people.
Fear:Heights,clowns,and sharks.
Power:She has the ability to make anything to their opposite counterpart such as flipping things upside down or turning fire into water but she can't change a persons gender or personality.

Ely

Age 0-18: 17
Past before fostering: Ely used to be an incredibly active child, who used to always do things with her parents. She was almost always outside, loved to jump around, she was quite the energetic being. The main thing she liked to do with her parents was rock climbing, something that they used to do every day.

Now, with her doing that activity, she was doing a repetitive movement, the same thing over and over again. And at a point, she did way too much of this, and as a result, got RSI.

At first, she didn't even know of this injury, and thought of it as just pain from a few sharp rocks, that sort of thing. When she left it untreated, it started to develop, and then some symptoms started. One was a bit of a burning feeling, which started to grow even more.

When she confronted her parents about this burning feeling, they too did not know. This was a bad situation to be in, a very bad situation.They soon decided to go to a doctor for this, and found out about this RSI thingy-mcthing.

Treating it was a hard as getting it for Ely, and it soon started to effect her daily life. When she held on to something extremely tight, there was a slight numbness in her right hand, which meant that she couldn't write for too long, or hold on to something for too long, and all of these different things.

When it started to effect her life, Ely went into a sort of depression. Thinking that she really couldn't do much at all was soon common for her, and as a result, she lost some of her motivation to be...energetic, we'll say.

As this happened, her parents got worried, thinking that they were terrible guardians of this child, and they were heavily stressed. As a result, their thinking got rash, and they made a decision to transfer Ely to another household, as they thought it would make her situation better.

And so now she's here, with RSI that should be treated.

Personality: Ely isn't really much of an 'emo-kid.' Actually, she kind-of is, but not that much. She isn't sad all of the time, sometimes she can be rather optimistic about things unrelated to her condition, such as making friends, all of those social things.

She has a bit of a 'it works, take it' mindset. Some things may not go the way that she wants them to, and most times she is actually okay with that, if it looks like it'll turn out right and well. If something is a good enough solution, Ely won't go against it, in short.

When something she struggles to do (i.e, related to RSI in any way) comes up, then she starts getting a bit depressed, getting set back a bit. She doesn't have that though process where 'I CAN DO THIS ANYWAY!' pops up, as she kind of knows that she cannot.
Fear: she fears chronic RSI, as her current condition is bad enough.
Other: She appears to prefer being with people of her gender, as she thinks they can understand her better

Jen

Appearance: Tan skin, long wavy back-lengthed dark brown hair, brown eyes, blue long sleeve shirt, dark blue skinny jeans, and tan winter boots.

Name: Jennifer Ghast

Past before fostering: Jennifer was born and raised by her homeless mother. When she was sixteen, she and her eldest brother Damion, got into street racing and stole cars for the occupation. Their mother got severely sick and died weeks before her seventeenth birthday. Her world crumbled until she and her brother got into a car accident while they were in the same car during one of the races. She suffered severe injuries and Damion died in the collision. She was then treated and arrested for theft and illegal driving. She was sent to a jail for teens until she was sentenced to a foster home when she has been traumatized from the accident.

Personality: Shy, sensitive, curious, kind.

Sienna was born in the forest, her mom died giving birth, and her dad; stricken with grief, decided to put her up for adoption. Her powers came early in life, possibly from her mother's side, and it disrupted the orphanage she called home, the housekeeper of the orphanage complained to the boss that she was a troublemaker and was not to be trusted by anyone. The owner of the orphanage considered this, and declared that if she wasn't adopted in another week, she would be placed in a home for special children. Of course, you know the rest of the story.

Sienna is very unsure of herself, so she's very quiet and hates being social. She's bipolar, and has bursts of emotion that happen very frequently, mainly when she gets mad or sad.

Past before fostering: Kyo lived happily with his parents and two brothers until the age of 10, when they died in a car accident. Though he was sent to live with his aunt after the tragic event, she wanted nothing to do with him and tried to get rid of him at the first available opportunity. During the year or so that he did stay with his aunt, though, he was locked in the basement for most of the time and treated terribly until she abandoned him. After wandering for a while, he was eventually found and placed in an orphanage until he was adopted.

Personality: Kind of quiet and often a bit spacey. He likes to read a lot of fantasy books and listens to various music in different languages in his spare time. His favorite flowers
are catkins, and he can't stand eating any kind of food that appears to have a face on it, for some reason.

Fear: Thunderstorms and the dark. He won't even go to the bathroom without a lantern or a flashlight. He also tends to freak out over centipedes…
Power: None

Other: He can't speak, and has not done so for quite some time.
He also wears a small bell on his right wrist. It's a memento from his mother.

Tay

5'3, 115 lbs, skinny yet healthy frame.
Name: Taylor Proelium

Age: 16
Past before fostering: Her mother was a heavy drinker and drug user. She had many step fathers, and her original father was gone the moment she was born. Every step father and boyfriend either hated, abused, or mistreated her if not all of the above. When this happened, her mother never believed her and punished her for lying. One day, one of her teachers at school noticed the bruises and the way Taylor shied away from male contact. She reported it to the school counselor, and when Taylor was called into the counselor's office to talk about it, she revealed everything in a sobbing mess. Still, after all that, she loved her mother dearly and begged to stay with her and help take care of her. Regardless, she was taken away from her mother, who refused rehabilitation, and placed in foster care. It's been 2 years since then.

Personality: Very kind and caring, she's the most compassionate soul you'll ever meet. She constantly places others before herself, though she loves to make snarky comments and sarcastic replies. She means everything she says in good humor, and is always careful to avoid making people uncomfortable or upset. If she does, she'lll apologize profusely and feel terribly guilty about it. She's also easily hurt, and will often be easily downtrodden about silly things. If you tell her you think her hair looks weird, she'll worry and fret over it for hours and it'll haunt her all day.

Fear: Being forgotten or left behind. She can't stand to be away from others for very long.

Power: Empath. She can feel and attempt to absorb the emotions and pains of another. If someone is having anxiety, or is in a bad mood, she can touch them and take most if not all of their troubles onto herself. She then slowly heals and calms herself from it. If another is wounded badly, the same applies. However, she is not invincible and taking on a wound too great or psychological ailment too powerful can kill her or make her go insane. She's almost killed herself like 20 times sneaking into hospitals to heal critically injured people and nearly killing herself because she's a butt who doesn't care about herself as much as she should. Also, if she's separated from other humans for an extended period of time, it physically drains her since being an empath means she literally absorbs the emotions and feelings of those around her, even if only in minuscule amounts. She can die if kept in captivity for too long.

Other: She taught herself ASL when her mother was attached to tubes and such in the hospital and couldn't talk, so they'd have some way of communication. She's still fluent in it. She sometimes watercolors, though she cannot for the life of her do people. Only scenery and animals.

Hex

Appearance:Helix is a 5'2" skinny kid with black mid length hair that covers one of his dark green eyes. Is usually seen wearing a black turtle neck shirt with sleeves that seem much to long for him and baggy blue jeans along with a red and black pair of shoes with retractable wheels in them

Past before fostering:Hex grew up with a very excepting family who didnt mind his powers of aerokinesis but also didnt talk about them, but his life changed after an incedent involving a rather large organization of well funded abnormal hunters and an explosion that killed his mother when he was 9. After that he and his father were forced to jump from city to city to avoid being caught. After two years of running his father finally made a very hard decision and put helix into an orphanage swearing he would come back but he never did.
Personality:shy, energetic, loves to draw but if you mess with you of his drawings he gets very emotional with either sadness or anger, amd is kind of a scardy cat with most things that don't revolve around things with wheels or heights
Fear:The dark and loud noises
Power (if applicable): Aerokinesis: the ability to control and manipulate wind.
Other: Tries to stay out of the way of older people as to avoid any conflict, also somehow finds ways into the strangest of places even on top of the roof at times.

Personality/Bio: Soft and charming likes to play the guitar and dabbles in playing with bands sometimes she will even be a lead singer, its a nicely paid gig 45 dollars an hour, who would pass that up? Sometimes she can be a bit harsh when put under pressure but other than that she is very sweet, shes looking for a kid because shes all alone and wants to have someone to keep her company maybe the child could be on stage with the band and dance around that'd be cute.

Powers/Abilities:: She can easily control others with her songs, when she sings its hypnotizing, to some it doesn't work but mostly anyone can be hypnotized.

Yutaka

Yutaka is a family friend. She lives next door. Yutaka is a wise and gentle woman who is afraid of only one thing. Loosing her bar. The bar that serves a wide variety of drinks for any age. It's a block away and has open for as long as everyone can remember.

It is unknown what powers she has or what species Yutaka is. But she makes amazing drinks and is smart beyond measure.

This place doesn't seem that bad.It seems safe enough and the people aren't that bad. The Savants are kind but they seem slightly bossy and a traitor too. The Sedition seem fun but Manish and the other Halcyon seem nice and friendly. I think I chose the right one for me. I had better go before someone sees this. Bye.

She closed her diary and put it at the back of her drawer behind lots of clothes.
