He dusts himself off and shrugs, feeling inside his jumper pocket. "Ah, here it is! It ain't much, but it's somethin'." And out from his jumper he reveals a rather pretty-looking gem. Under different circumstances of light, it changes colours, though is generally a red or purple colour, from what one could tell. "Been working on this little bugger for years! It's real, pretty valuable, and made from the freshly refined atoms of yours truly! You don't need to like it. You don't gotta keep it. You know why? Because it's yours! You can do whatever you want with it!" He exclaims, handing it to Melody.

Melody takes it and smiles "Thank you.." She replies grateful. It looked really pretty and silently takes in the rest everyone was saying. She opened her hand beneath the table and slowly opens the small packAge from her parents. It was the only one left. She takes off the paper and looks at it for a couple of seconds before closing her fist and going up to the housekeeper. "Urm.. May I pop to my room quickly?..." She says showing her the gift. A little gold locket. "I want to get a picture...."

"The worst part is there ain't even a present for the birthday girl! Like what the hell, guys?" Keegan sighs and rushes off upstairs."He...has way too much energy..." Melissa remarks with a sigh. "No doubt he's out to get you something... Say, Melody, what's something you've always wanted?" Asks Melissa.

"Urm well.." She thinks. She knew what but she couldn't say it. It was about her family but she didn't want to bring back sad ness on this day. She shakes her head. "Nothing really..." she says before shrugging.

She smiles back and just as she was about to shrug as into say I'm sorry the house keeper gives him the tablet. She smiles and nods before whispering to him quickly "That was good timing.."

Melissa smiled. Her own birthday was a little while away, some time in December, though she loved to celebrate other's birthdays. Despite her shy nature, she manages to sing along quietly to the birthday tune, perhaps not as loudly though singing to the best of her ability, which, if one could hear, sounded rather...spectacular.Keegan rushed down the stairs, sliding down the railing, and immediately seized his seat at the table. "Hey... What's goin' on?" He asks, unfamiliar with what's going on.

Melody sees Mellisa and smiles at her before Keegan comes down. She giggles at his words and let's someone else.explain it.
