Maybe I'm just thinking about it too much. *He picks up his Gunpla* I just remember when it was fun to play Gunpla Battle."

A blind 3 on 3 battle. Who would Alex fight along side with? Who will be his opponent? Anything is possible. Best to get set up. In the workshop room, Alex was at one of the desks working on his personal Gunpla, the St/AGE-1 Star AGE Gundam. Over the past few days, the quality of the model was beyond what he could have accomplished alone. He had Dani and her coaching to thank for that. Pannel lines marked well, paint air brushed on instead of put on with a paint brush at the right quality, and the damages done before repaired, like it was a brand new model. He had a chance to try out his model and noticed that the performace was increased nearly tenfold... but he was not used to the loss of resistance and slower movements he had before, so he had to get use to fighting with a better quality model, one that would...

Alex twitches and turns around shouting: "Why don't you all take a Picture? It will last longer!"

Several students who were right behind him, examining his model were startled and bugged out very quickly. No doubt people who want to get a chance to see what he'd be using. Alex face desks himself and wonders if all the new adjustments to his partner would make him ready enough for the battle. He couldn't understand why he was so worried about a battle now than he was before he won the tournament. But before he could continue thinking, a familiar voice got his attention.

you know, a thought came to me. Maybe they're secretly putting a test to see what some would do. they said the systems would only allow computer battles... but not systems outside the labs, like at the store. Loophole. A way to see the people find solutions to problems placed in front of them.

Alex was one of the last few to come up to take a turn and get a card. As he's crossing the stage, he could hear whispers from the other people. Though it was kinda hard to make out, he felt like they were talking about getting a chance to stomp the champ. He gets up to the machine and stares at it for a bit. As he reaches out, he could feel a strange aura, as he would call it, from the crowd. He turns his head slightly to be able to look behind him, and it nearly caused his heart to leap out to see so many glares at him. He quickly turns his head back towards the machine and shivers a bit.

Alex tried to calm himself down: "No need to worry. No need to worry. They're in the same situation i am in too. Just got to handle it when the time comes. Alright wheel... don't let me down!"

Alex turns the handle and the machine whirls, till it finally stops at the combo, A5. The card is spit out and Alex takes it. As he walks off stage he thinks to himself: "Maybe it would have helped if I imagined them all in their underwear... nah."

As the last people got their tickets, everyone was back off stage. Satsuki speaks up: "Alright, did everyone get a card? Great." The machine is retracted back under the stage as the monitor lights up, showing all the listed combos that were given out. They are then shuffled around at fast speed until each one is showing "??" in groups of 3, just across from another group of 3 "??".

Minako then announces: "Tomorrow, you will all be told to which room to go to, but each one separate so you don't share where you'll be with the others."

Miles then speaks up: "So until then, everyone is free for the rest of the day to prepare up their models. A shuttle bus will be ready again to go to the store if you need parts, and battle systems will be available for practice against the computer only."

Satsuki finishes up with: "That will be all. Good luck everyone, you are all dismissed."

Some of the students scattered out, talking about what they'll be doing. For Alex, he just sighs and says to himself: "I'd be more excited if i knew who i would be fighting alongside with." He sighs before heading out.



As the instructors were leaving the room and now out of earshot from the students, Miles asks Satsuki: "Are you sure about this? Think they'd be mad if they knew about..."

Satsuki interrupts: "It's likely they would be, but i feel that come battle time... they would not ask for it any other way."

A few people after Ball guy was Kasumi. Some people had seen Ball Guy come and go these past few days but were unsure who he really was. (Though his identity couldn't fool the instructors, but they rolled with it so they wouldn't upset Rou). Kasumi was still in some Kimono robes that she wears when she's out practicing with her wooden Katana, and with the sudden announcement, she couldn't get enough time to change out of them and into her usual cloths. She stands in front of the machine and pauses before turning the handle to activate it. One of the students was about to shout to her to hurry up. As the machine whirls, the combo: M9 came up. Interesting since the combo was also the name of a side arm, though she fights with a sword. After accepting the card, she turns to the instructors, bows, and heads off stage for the next fighter's turn.
