She couldn't be serious... 'Bring me something pretty' what where the other tests going to be? style my hair? ballroom dancing? not that it mattered, a job was a job. Taking a look around at the dispersing crowd he could tell that there where just as confused as all this as he was.

'Something pretty, something pretty...' he had taken his first step when he noticed the girls on the opposite side of Izzy @Song Book, she seemed to be avoiding everyone.

"Hey there!" Jack gave a small wave as he walked over to her.

"You wouldn't happen to want to start this search together would you? Guild work is typically done in teams"

Jack took Izzy's hand and gave it a firm shake before returning the rest of his deck to his coat.

"A pleasure to meet you Izzy, I'm here to sign up for the guild" taking a glance back a the group of approaching wizards he knew he might have his work cut out for himself.

"Looks like I'm not alone in that interest either, so what do I have to do to get a job around here?"

Jack chuckled a bit at the girls bluntness his smile becoming his usual toothy grin, it was almost like it his first time talking to a wizard but it was almost impossible considering who she where she was.

"Yeah, let me show you" he produced a deck of cards from his coat gave it a quick shuffle.
Placing a tentative hand on the deck and closing his eyes a small magic circle appeared beneath his fingers, after a short moment he drew the top card.
"High card, 2 of hearts" he offered the card to the girl "put it on your scrapes should clean you"

Jack walked among a small crowd of what he could only assume where wizards to the edge of a forest where a curious little establishment had set itself up. Checking to see his decks of cards where safely strapped to his belt he gave a glance to the building up ahead, the girl who had blown into town with the strange old wizard and his companions had fallen down and was looking at the crowd with anticipation.

'As they say best foot forward' taking a slightly larger breath then he'd like to admit he took Jack took longer strides towards the fallen girl before offering a hand and soft smile.

"Well at very least ya can't fall any further, you alright?"

Personal details

Personality: A charming gentleman to most Jack tries to keep a cheerful outlook on the task at hand. He’s often seen to be confident in most scenarios leading with a toothy grin and his fun loving nature.
That being said he likes a good trick every now and again often at the expense of those around him, a chilly in your sleeping mouth swapping sugar for salt; it was probably him.
Jack is terrified of dogs often taking entirely different routes if it means not having to pass one on the street.

Bio: When growing up Jack endured several hours of sword training a day under the supervision of his well-meaning but forceful mother. The strict regimen of studding both tombs of history and swordsmanship left Jack with little care for either task. It would be at night when left alone to rest he would play with a deck of cards he got at a much younger age, this play time would evolve into practise, then training as he discovered magic and his affinity for the craft.
Leaving home at a young age Jack would soon start looking for work, finding it hard to find a simple paying job Jack elected to join a mage guild. At first he didn’t care much for what guild he was accepted so long as he could get paid, this soon untenable as the guild got less and less standard work and moved towards something shadier. Jack ultimately left due to a payment dispute with the guild master.
Now having left that town and guild behind him Jack is trying his hand again in the guild in the hopes that he can make his way in the world and maybe a name for himself.

Reason for joining: This guild seemed to have solid foundations and looked to want to treat its members with respect.

Abilities

Combat prowess: E- Trained in the sword Jack all-be it badly, Jack can swing a blade better than someone whose never has just not that much better.
Magic: High Card
Type: Manipulation (Card Magic)

Detail: Jack can manipulate any ordinary deck of 52 cards once he’s shuffled them, he can draw whatever card he chooses but the effect is based on the suit and number of the card.
The weakest card in the deck is the 2 and ace is by far the strongest.
Spades: The drawn card takes the shape of a blade.
Hearts - The drawn card can be using like a patch to heal wounds.
Diamonds - The drawn card takes the shape of a diamond shield.
Clubs - The drawn card will explode in arcane energy on impact once thrown.
Joker - The drawn card explodes into a thick Smoke harming whoever drew it.
Uses:

• Offensive- Jack is not really a front line fighter, while able to attack with a Spades or Clubs he uses them sparingly as the clubs drain him fast and his swordsmanship is far from what Jack was to be running into combat with.
• Defensive- Diamonds and Jokers are often used to protect himself from oncoming assaults or to cover an escape.
• Support- Anything from scrapes to gouges Jacks got you covered with his Hearts.

I didnt change much in the end as it I think just need to find an appropriate image and we'll be good to go.
