"Call me Todd. Everyone else does. As for the baton... call it military service privilege. The folks in camo tend to get nice perks." Joe knew he had to draw the woman's attention away from the fact that he was using the women's restroom as a home base. "Sweet camera. Digital?"

She seemed to be relatively harmless at the moment, but all the same, Joe remembered his bartitsu experience and steeled himself, just in case. It was, however, a good sign that the woman didn't open the door for everyone. "Keep that locked, by the way", he reminded her. He set his bag on the floor and pulled out four protein bars and two bottles of water and set them on the counter. Then, he plugged all ten sinks and filled them up with hot water, not knowing how long he would be stuck there. He also drew out a AA battery Maglite, in case the power shut off too. Then, he set his own camera bag on the counter and unzipped it. Inside were two cameras, and six batteries for the digital one. The two cameras came out next, going onto the counter as well, a Sony Alpha 77, and a Nikon FM-10. Nine rolls of film, all in their canisters were the last item on his unpacking agenda. He laid a jacket on the floor, then rolled it up, and laid his head head on it, lying on his back, getting comfortable. He obviously expected to be here for a while. "So", he started, "what do you call yourself? I keep referring to you as 'That Woman' in my head, but I'd prefer a real name."

Right now, not only do I have a cold, but I'm also super drowsy and have a killer headache and my allergies are acting up now too, just to throw one more punch into my gut. I'll look him over asap, but for right now, I'm struggling to do the work I need to get done.

Hey, whoa. Feel better first, man. Don't rush yourself.

180 is the limit for constant movement speed of a character (ie, when they're running a marathon), but I'd assume strike speed can be considerably higher (even I can swing my arm faster than I can run). I think the problem with the lightning dash is that its only limitation is the 100 meter distance. My character's teleporting is along similar lines, but in order to get it approved it has very finite and well-defined constraints regarding distance, energy consumption, and cooldown time. I can't use it over and over post after post to land blow after unavoidable blow.Or at least I think that's how it works.

So, maybe I can run at 11 mph, and that would be acceptable, but I really have no limit on fast I can throw a punch?
Joe looked some strange woman in the eye. Sure, this was the women's restroom, but he'd seen things like the event outside before, and knew that it was smart to take safety as soon as possible. While the bathroom was no fortress, it was the best he had at the moment. "I get that this room isn't really for my gender", he started, "but this really isn't the time to argue about this sort of thing. I- wait a sec, how'd you get the door open?"

Unfortunately for Joe, an expandable baton was just barely cleared for the plane, so it was his only weapon and means of defense at the moment. Still, a piece of solid, heavy steel is nothing to shakea (wooden) stick at. Keeping his weapon at the ready, he backed himself against the rear wall, waiting for the odd woman's response.

He'd noticed quite a scene of turmoil outside as she'd shut the door again, and, while he did enjoy excitement now and again, wisely decided that he'd rather stay in safety. He scanned her body for weapons, and didn't see any readily visible. It didn't mean that she wasn't packing, however.
Wait, 180 is the movement limit, for the whole character, right? What about strike speed?
Joe heard the crack of a rifle, dulled by the thick bathroom door. He thought he could smell gunpowder. He also though he heard someone shout in Arabic. He could taste sand in his mouth. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "Just wait... just... wait...", he told himself.

Someone knocked on the door frantically. It was another man who called to Joe. "Please! Please open the door! Let me in!" Joe shouted back,

"Occupied, man! Find your own restroom!"

He closed his eyes and rested his head against the tile wall behind him. It was cool and smooth, like glass. The sound of pipe hitting ceramic broke the tranquility. He'd accidentally dropped his baton. No surprise, considering how sweaty his hands were.
Name: Joseph Ferrier
Age: 26
Origin: Washington, D.C., originally, moved to Seattle after age 20
Residence: Seattle
Occupation: Assistant Manager at JC Penney
Relationships: None is Los Angeles, at least, none that are meaningful, at least. He is umarried and single as well.

Appearance: At 5'9", Joe isn't the tallest guy, but he is lean and fast. He typically wears his white dress shirt and khakis, as well as a red tie, as is customary for a JC Penney employee, he also bears an exensive kevlar-intwined motorcycle jacket. He has short, dark hair and thin eyebrows.

History: Joe was born in Washington D.C., to Mark and Elizabeth Ferrier. Mark Ferrier was an Army Colonel, and pressed Joe to enlist. Instead, at age 18, Joe left home and signed onto an Army Ranger regiment as a photographer under the fake company name Truth Be Told photography. He sent his dad pictures, pretending to be a soldier. One day, he made a mistake with a photo and his father discovered the truth. Since then, he was disowned. He learned basic medical skills and techniques from the squad medic, as well as a number of interesting hand to hand techniques from messing around with the soldiers in his off time. After returning to the states, he couldn't figure out what to do with his life, so he used the little money that was left to get a small apartment. After a short job as a sales associate, he became an assistant manager, and has been such ever since.

Personality: Joe is calm, relaxed, and rational. He is also extremely manipulative when it comes to those whose lives he deems disposable. He has always been a natural leader because of that quality. Because of his love of photography, he likes to document things on the Nikon FM-10 he wears around his neck as much as possible. The rising of the dead is no exception.
Joe is coldhearted, often preferring to save the many even if it means sacrificing the few. If it means protecting the group, he is not above murdering someone in cold blood.

Starting situation:
He is at the LA airport after attending a photography convention. On his way back to Seattle, he sees that every flight is postponed as the airport is put under lockdown.
Eh, whew! Not gonna lie, though, from where I'm watching, the Nasty is lookin' mighty spooky.

He canĀ“t survive without a head. Huehuehue. The overall idea of the character is having an overall balanced dude with a focus on combat abilities. If he had stats they would look like this;Str -------Dex ------------------Con -------Int ---------------Wis ---------------Cha---------(High) (Good) (Good) (Moderate) (Poor) (Poor)

I think it's mostly the way you described things, that Craptonofgames didn't like.

It says he can fight multiple level 1 (one) people while playing chess. As a level 4, I don't see how that's overpowered. It's like fighting a bunch of toddlers.

Nah, dude, Craptonofgames is talking about the overall perfection and invincibility of him. He's too fast, strong, smart, and adept. Give him a few weaknesses, and you're good. It's all about fun for everyone, you know?
