A sprawling metropolis with a population of 3.8 million, Rush City relishes in having a peaceful and prosperous. Busy streets, populated parks, businesses and pizza shops make up the day-today experience of Far Hills. However, it is because Far Hills is a sprawling metropolis that the city is no stranger to the extraordinary occurrences which threaten the peace and populace; the city erupts into panic when faced with villains, monsters and jaywalkers which threaten the stability of the city, causing crime and wanton destruction.

But it's at times such as these that the Teen Sentinels make themselves known - a group of teenage superheroes who spring into action to save Rush City from the clutches of evil, time and time again!

Sentinels, go!

Welcome to the Sentinals Go! Interest Check! There are already a few superhero roleplays running, but I wanted to throw another one into the mix. This roleplay takes heavy inspiration from the original Teen Titans TV series. It's set in it's own universe, but would still focuses on the lives of a small team of original teenage superheroes fighting crime, defeating villains and living their day-to-day lives.

In terms of tone I intend for this roleplay to be pretty lighthearted and have a very silver-age feel in terms of style. We're basically attempting to recreate the faux-anime tone of the TT series. Plus, since it takes place in it's own universe, it gives the players more freedom in creating original locations, characters and such, although I don't mind anyone borrowing some ideas from the DC/Marvel universes, within reason.

This isn't going to be big. I actually probably only need like three more people.

I'm debating whether this should be first come, first serve or me choosing the most suitable character sheets after a pre-determined deadline.

So, anyone interested?
Potential interest.
In the same situation as @Mr Allen J and @FantasyChic, sorry.
Also interested.

EDIT: Actually, real life stuff means I'll have to rescind my interest for now. Apologies.

Kosoku

The match had ended - with the Villain team securing victory over the Hero team. The 1 on 1 fights were nice to behold, but perhaps the team would have done better had they grouped up. Kosoku didn't have time to ponder on the theory behind the exercise much longer though: the homeroom teacher had already begun to systematically call out the teams of the next group.

"Hero team and round two will consist of, Sayuri Takeshi, Anne de Blois, Kosoku Hitoshi, Gi Yamaguchi Gumi, and Kane Yoshida. Villains, Vanitas Suda, Garen Von Strum, Mine Onada, Karen Hirasawa, Ender Kazetani, and Amelia rose. "Villain team you may go and get ready.

"Troublesome." Kosoku muttered. The villain team had an additional member on their side, and it served as another tip in the villains' favour. However, the ninja boy didn't complain beyond that; there would be times where Heroes would be outnumbered, and this was simply a simulation of that. Winning when pitted at a disadvantage would probably bring some extra merit, anyway.

Ten minutes had passed, the Villains had finished their preparations and the teacher sent the Hero team on their way.

"Hero team you are free to engage."

With that, Kosoku and the others entered the trial grounds. Sayuri had already rocketed off ahead of everyone else, but Kosoku thought it would be better for the rest of the Hero team group up.

"Perhaps the rest of us should go in pairs?"
Similar situation, I'll have a post up today also.
Kosoku

The end of the homeroom class marked the start of Kosoku's stay at Komei Academy, and the rest of the week marked the start of Kosoku's bizarre but rigorous training exercises. The white-haired boy would sneak out to the P.E grounds during the early mornings and late nights to practice repeatedly teleporting, combat techniques and the like. Kosoku wasn't a big fan of people watching him train, which explained why he did it where he thought nobody would see, but he had no way of being absolutely certain of that.

The lessons for the week proved to be fairly underwhelming for Kosoku, everything aside from the basic training proved to be just as it would be in any other school - minus the interesting collection of personalities in Kosoku's classes, that is. The young ninja made it a point to get on good speaking terms with as many of the students as he could; he would be working with them for a long time, after all.

Kosoku watched the hero apprehension test take place from the surveillance room, alongside the other classmates present there. The students were made to wear their gym uniforms for the exercise. It made sense - the students hadn't had a chance to commission their hero costumes from the support department or something similar to that, and the gym clothes were practical enough as is. Even so, Kosoku made a point to continue wearing that ninja face mask even in his gym gear. He was ready to go to the hero test, but had to wait for the first group to finish their match. Still, he didn't mind watching their match in the meantime. It was hard to tell whether or not the match was coming to a end or not; one of the few 1-on-1 fights that had been taking place had resolved with Ken's victory, but it seemed like the arrival of Su-Mi eliminated any chance at grabbing the hostage. It was unfortunate, since the battle between Aki and Ken was pretty intense, and it was easy to see they were both trying their absolute best. The other students in the test were nothing to scoff at either, there were impressive instances of communication and cooperation through the use of the communicators, both teams had a clear drive to win, and Kosoku found that engaging.

"This looks to be a good fight," Kosoku said aloud, to no one in particular.

"I can't tell which team is going to win."

He crossed his arms and continued to watch intently.
Kosoku

The school day had practically just started, and it was already exciting. The rush of the various classmates as they tried to get to their classes on time (and to varying degrees of success) was definitely something to behold. It was a great introductory to what the rest of the semester would probably hold. A good portion of the students had made it to class and took their seats already, and one of these students in particular was unusual, even among the Quirk-filled class.

Sitting in a nondescript seat in a nondescript part of the room was the white-haired boy known as Kosoku. How long had he been there exactly? It was hard to say, he didn't seem to bring much attention to himself at all - even through the trials of getting to class on time. Turns out, having a teleportation Quirk comes in handy for things like that, allowing him to avoid most of the clones of the assistant teacher without being impeded to much, and he had a lot of time to spare getting into the classroom, so much so that he had enough time to, well, daydream. Daydream long and deep enough to miss everything up until the arrival of the homeroom teacher, that is. By the looks of things, this was a pretty stern teacher: as expected of Komei Academy to have staff so dedicated to their craft. Kosoku could only wonder if his current training pace would keep up with the expectations of the school, but before that, there was the ice-breaker to deal with.

Several students had already gone and introduced themselves to the class, and the self-proclaimed ninja would be no exception. That said, Komei Academy definitely had an interesting assortment of students - especially in this class of 1-A.

It was Kosoku's turn now. The boy felt the need to make his introduction somewhat engaging.

Blink.

In a near-instant, Kosoku was at the front of the classroom, able to see the rows of faces poised at him. He nodded.

"I'm Kosoku Hitoshi, a ninja and martial artist."

The white-haired boy gave a respectful bow to the class. His delivery was systematic and measured, but still managed to maintain a hint of laxness that his surface demeanour always carried.

"My Quirk is teleportation," He continued, grabbing a book from a nearby desk and bringing it to the front of the classroom and holding it up high.

"Observe."

Still holding the book in the air, he concentrated for a moment, and the book almost instantly disappeared from his hand and transported back to the desk that it came from. He smiled.

"Pleased to meet you." Kosoku bowed again, disappearing and reappearing back in his seat. He hadn't had much else to say or do aside from the display of his Quirk, which wasn't terribly interesting, but not terribly boring either. It was just mundane enough that he could probably continue to fly under the radar just as he had before stepping up to the front of the class.
