The sounds from above make Kuro smile and he quickly works to finish breakfast, adding some bacon beside each tart, extra bacon for Dani of course, and the smallest tart. 'Sounds like he's cleaning again. It's compulsive I bet. I mean, I like having a clean environment too, but this is bordering on OCD' He smirks, wondering if that is a permanent disorder for all angels before chuckling the thought away. It doesn't take long for the blue eyed male to come bounding down the stairs in his normal delightful mood. Kuro smile at him, watching the morning ritual commence with his normal mix of joy and apprehension. He is rather impressed that Aoba manages to dodge the attack for once and agrees that it may have just been luck.

“Tastes even better.” he says softly, looking down at the smaller male with his same soft smile. He lets Aoba help, making sure the right portions get on to the right plates. Humming quietly he helps transfer everything to the coffee table and takes his place on the floor. Dani immediately begins wolfing down his food, glancing at his little brother every once in a while as Aoba practically both begs and apologizes at the same time.

“If you wanna go, you should just tell him you wanna go! It's not like he'll say no. In fact he's so out of it right now, he'd prolly let me take you!” Dani says through a mouthful of bacon.

With a rueful smile Kuro looks at his brother through narrowed eyes, “Not a chance furball.” While Dani pouts over this Kuro looks to the angel with his soft smile. “You're right, we should head into town. We can't keep poaching apples and we're running low on fresh stuff. After the farm work we'll head out.” Dani flashes his teeth and for a moment the younger brother contemplates telling him he has to stay with the farm. 'After all, that's what he's here for. He's a guard dog. And I know him, he's gonna wanna eat while we're there. . . .But if I try and leave him behind he may very well start trying to eat chickens or torture the wildlife, both would be equally bad in this case' Kuro is not at all bothered by his brother's habits, in fact he shares several of them, however he knows they are not something he wants to force Aoba to get use to too quickly.

Dani smiles wide, eating up the rest of his food quickly before racing outside to tell Mama and Otto the plan. He knows they'll be very interested to know that they'll have some serious time alone. Kuro finishes a bit more slowly and works with Aoba to clean up afterward. From outside he can hear the pigs squealing and the black haired male concludes that Dani must have finished telling the cows about it and moved on to the smaller farm animals. 'I wonder if the Little Mouse is ever going to ask about him talking to the animals, or if he's just accepted that Dani is crazy and this is just a form of the madness. . .Not that it is. He really is talking to them, and he can understand them. I can't, I'm not half werewolf, but I know that he's not like the humans that talk to animals. . .'
The prince's smile helps to calm Aki a bit, the sight of it combined with the rest of his features creating a very lovely picture. Sometimes the soldier thinks himself a little odd, seeing such things as if he were looking at a painting or tapestry, but at the same time he feels there's nothing really wrong with it. His own hands mimic the taller male's and slip behind his back. However for him it is a simple “at attention” pose that keeps him for fidgeting. He follows after Hiro, doing his best to keep his eyes up rather than glued to the floor. At the idea of new clothes he pauses, looking down at himself. “I've only ever worn. . .” He doesn't finish that sentence, the implication obvious.

Instead he nods and follows the youth into the room. He takes a moment to look around, his eyes widening a bit as he realizes this room is likely considered normal. 'I know a few families that could all fit in this room together. And the décor, though simpler than in the prince's room, it's still so. . .What am I even suppose to do with all this stuff?' He feels a little shamed that he doesn't even recognize a lot of the things laying about the room, and the fact that this simple room contain twenty times, if not more, the amount of stuff he's ever owned in his life he feels overwhelmed at the thought that this is suddenly his room. He swallows hard, almost wondering if he should ask to stay with the prince just so that he doesn't have to suddenly acquire even more new stuff besides a new life, but after less than a moment of thought on the idea he dismisses it. 'I can put up with the stuff far more than I can adapt to sharing a room with someone I'm suppose to. . . .'

He nods again slowly, trying to think of ways to ask the servants to remove most of the stuff without looking completely insane. Most of his feelings are hidden behind his life long mask of concentration and curiosity, but as he moves further into the room, running his fingers over the wood of one of the bed posts, a touch of his inner turmoil shows through. Despite seeming like an open book since arriving, now that the captain is no longer around Akito can feel himself retreating inside. He knows he needs to change that, and soon, but for now it's all that's keeping him from asking if he can just live on the training grounds.

“No. . .” he says softly. “I don't feel like being alone here, unless you have need to be away from me. . .” His hand grips the wood beneath his fingers a little tighter as his gaze once more falls t his feet. With the prince leaning against the wall by the door Aki's back is to the young man as he says what he needs to say. “I want to thank you again for not telling your family what I did. I'm going to work hard so that it doesn't happen again. . .” He chuckles lightly at the idea of doing whatever he wants. “I think the first thing I want to do is work out a schedule for myself. I grew up in a very structured environment, and honestly the idea of living a life where I don't know what I'm suppose to be doing next terrifies me. . .” Looking over his shoulder at the taller male his smile widens slightly. “Knowing where to rest my head is a comforting knowledge, thank you.”
I think.. . . .This is going to be interesting. . . .

See, Amano can give orders, he really can, but he's NEVER going to stop trying to get Illiendi to UNDERSTAND him. He doesn't want to use the demon as a tool, so he's never gonna stop trying to get him to see what he's talking about. He understands that Illiendi is immortal, and that his time on earth is a mere bat of an eye, but. . .I get the feeling that Amano isn't going to accept that as a reason not to let himself see through a human's eyes :P I really hope that doesn't mess this whole thing up. . . .

Also, I'm sorry you went though some bad crap, and that you see such words as ones that always cut deep. However I would like you to understand that: She did not insult him. She pointed out a fault he knows he has an is working on, and he's glad she doesn't look down on him for it. His accepting of what she says does not hurt him in any way. I know that's how it is for a lot of people, but some people simply have very open and understanding relationships that allow them to speak openly and honestly with no hidden pain. That is the relationship they have, and it makes me smile.

Raoul does not beat her, but her father did. She doesn't actually love Raoul as she's barely gotten to know him. Love is not a factor in her life. She is his wife, and it is simple a role she has to play.

I understand how earth worked back then, but I really, REALLY hate how earth worked back then, so you will excuse me if I take the liberty to shat all over that man run dung heap that this era is based off of every chance I get :P Also, I am not a man hating woman, I am a misogynist hating man :P 90% of the history of men running the world and women being less than them, I would like to trash it the best I can as I can not abide such foolishness. I understand that that is earth's history, but we don't need it, seriously, it does not need to exist here. It would just make this whole RP suck for me. . . .
I enjoy a good mix of both, going to skype when there is need for shorter more fast paced posts, and doing it right here on the thread when there is a more leisurely feel and chances for longer posts. Since our characters are in close contact and you feel in the groove for moving things forward, skype sounds like the better option at the moment, however if you would rather stay at the thread pace, we can stay here.
My characters come to me in a way different from most. They present themselves, fully formed and unchangeable. Lai is exactly what her first presented himself as, and I envy people who have characters that seem different at the beginning or can be changed.
I think it's adorable when people who love each other can point out one another's faults without them taking offence. To me, that just feels right. It's not an insult if it's true you see. As for "This time set" since this is earth not earth, I think messing around with some of those honestly foolish ideas about men and women from the apparent era is nice. It's why he that's that his father cheats on hi mother and how everyone accepts it. It's why his best friend is a non conventional woman. And it's also why he sees what his younger older brother's do as despicable. He feels that women should be allowed to speak their minds just as much as men can, should be treated as people and not property, and be loved and cared for in such a way that they are still free to pursue their own interests. She only talks this way, really, around Amano and Gavin, since they accept and love her for it. She does not come off as bratty to me, but a strong woman who agree with Amano fully.

I find Raoul's wife almost sickeningly timid, and his mother pitiable. The mother should have dumped Amano's dad a long time ago as the cheating pig he is, and Raoul's wife has a personality I would not wish on anyone. Yeah, she's adorable, but that's about it. She's gonna spend her life as an accessory, and that's just sad. . . .So, while you find her rude, I find Laiza admirable, and soon enough, at least I pray, Illiendi will realize that Amano is not shamed by these things and doesn't want anyone thinking he is. He loves how open the two are, and while her foul(By the way ass as in donkey was not a swear word. She was literally calling him stubborn) mouth as it appears on occasion is not particularly attractive, he's actually glad she is comfortable enough with him and herself to say such things around him without that inbred fear of being smacked for it.
*Giggles* Lai. . . . . .Found a loophole, as angels do not cheat :P
Loooooong post :P
I think and English Japanese mix would be cool. Japanese style architecture, mix or English and Japanese style garb, English style town layout with stone buildings and a mix of rolling countryside and grassy wooded areas with pretty streams and rivers? Sleep in beds not on futon, but the short little tables with cushions :P Emperor and Empress, but able to be ruled by either. In other words, if this is the Empress's homeland, she's he head honcho and hubby is the tagalong, and vice versa?

Sorry, I ramble. I'm glad you like my ideas :P War drama does indeed tend to make things a little more interesting *Grin*

Feel free to drop your ideas! If they conflict with what I said above that's fine, nothing is set in stone, I was just popping off some thoughts :P
