pha, Primez you gotta be careful you don't get shot as a looter :P

It is a shitty world out there. Some risks have to be taken.
Despite being a inn secluded in a hysterical forest that will get even the most seasoned explorers lost, it was a pretty lively place. There was intricacy in just about ever aspect of inn, which made the building probably one of the more unique establishments Arco had ever seen in his four hundred plus years. The people it housed were just as unique if not more. Dwarfs, elves, human, and a dogman?... All sorts of lost and weary travelers existed under this roof. It was a bit surreal. Although probably the greatest part of the inn was the fact that it had a high enough ceiling to allow Arco to walk uninhabited through various sections. The entrance and probably everywhere else had a lower ceiling but the main hall allowed just a few inches of clearance.

The smell of hot food soon overwhelmed Arco's mind, especially after his new dwarf friend had brought it up. "Yes it is quite grand, dwarf! I rarely see a place that house a thing of my size." Arco turned and placed his free hand on the dwarf's head after his comments about hunger. "I'd relish in your company this evening, dwarf. You and I can introduce ourselves then and if cost be your worry, I'll cover it. It isn't every day that I get the warm and exciting company of a dwarf." Arco cracked a smile for the first time in a few weeks. By Arconia did he love conversing with dwarves, they were always hospitable and always entertaining and this dwarf was certainly no exception.

Arco made headway for a vacant table but was interrupted by that dogman he had first noticed when he entered. He was in hysterics over Arco's small companion, Rye. The Draconian looked down at his companion who was now recoiling in fright and shock at the sudden inquiry. She leapt up from Arco's palm and flew up to his shoulder where she could look down on the dogman in safety. Arco knew Rye was a timid sort judging from the past week of spending time together but he didn't know she'd be so jumpy as to flee just about anyone, but it made sense judging from where she came from. "Easy there, stranger!" Arco spoke with a calm and friendly tone. "My friend here isn't so open to strange people it seems. Plus I haven't heard her say an audible word yet. I imagine she is mute." Arco gently reached up and extended his open palm again to which, Rye climbed on before being gently lowered back in front of the dogman again.

"The matter seems important to you..." Arco said as he studied the dogman's head. Never in all his years of life did Arco ever see a man's body with a hound's head. ".. Yes, I reckon she is from these parts. I found her while lost in these woods about a week ago. She was alone when I discovered her and I did not see any of her kin nearby." Arco closed his eyes for a moment, recalling just how it was he found Rye. It was best to censor most of it for now. "That's really it. Unless she can talk and you can get her to, I'm afraid that's all I can really add."
Yo Taffy's group!

Jol's post seemed to sum up the danger pretty darn quick (maybe too quick), but let me know if that's not quite how you envisioned. I'll make an edit if you feel what Jol did was a bit out of place.
Utter bewilderment. That's how Myra would describe the last few minutes. The tin man reemerged from his wounded state and had just finished off the man who Myra planted a round or two in. She could hear him mumbling something but his helmet and the constant gunfire made it difficult to hear. "What? What do you want?!" Myra shouted as she looked around. He had to have been talking to her but before an answer came, the man barged into Taffy's. Puzzled at what was happening, Dumb and Myra looked at each other for a moment before glancing back to the empty store front.

The two of them sat there for a moment trying to break the moment's pause when Myra finally directed the two. "Works for me, I guess? Grab that bandit's bag and meet me inside. We'll grab more of this stuff and bolt out of here before anyone else can stop us!"

With his orders, Dumb waddled on over in a crouched position and retrieved the bag. Meanwhile, Myra watched the action inside Taffy's from the entrance. The tin man dispatched the lone looter in a sort of flashy way before darting out into the alleyway. Most opportune considering the shop was now empty. "Come on idiot! Hurry up the story is empty!" She said under her voice. Dumb hastened his progress and the two darted inside and slipped behind the counter where they started rummaging through various cabinets, grabbing whatever they could.
Hopefully that's good.

PrimezTime I think you should read the belowTaffy's shop was where Flint and Taffy where quite recently.Bandits came in so we had to quickly bale. Right now there are quite a few bandits within her shop. And one shooting towards the trio down the alley.

Oh. I didn't know what was going on.

Well I'll make some adjustments soon.
Just call me sensei.
Myra glanced over at her bodyguard expressing confusion. "Mines? What are you on about?" The girl pondered what exactly lead this guy here and deduced that this wasn't the only bandit assault in this man's memory. Her expression changed from confusion to a more solemn one. "Your town sank, didn't it?"

Myra straightened herself out as she looked over at her bodyguard. "Let's get our job done her and let's bolt, Dumb. If these are the same ruffians that sank this guy's place, I want to be far away from here when that happens." She whispered as she dragged her bodyguard to the front door. "Good luck tin man!" She hollered as she pushed Dumb out the door. The streets were just as she left them. Bloody and in chaos, but frankly she didn't care. She waited the stashed loot next door in a place called Taffy's. However, Myra's plan of using the chaos of the bandit attack was oh so rudely interrupted by a change of course.

As Myra and Dumb crept to the side of the Pumphouse, they peaked around the corner to see if the coast was clear. Unfortunately it wasn't as a trio was positioned in the tight quarters of the alleyway. "Shit ... We'll try the front door." She whispered hysterically at her companion. In the midst of passing by the alley, someone must have come out from Taffy's and the two parties engaged each other. "Hurry! If we are lucky this will draw everyone outside!"

Myra and Dumb pressed on past Taffy's door and reached the opposite side of the building and away from the firefight. Myra and Dumb took their positions close to the front and eyeballed the front door. For a few seconds nothing moved until a shadowy figure burst through the door. It was tough to see but he lugged a sack full of clanging objects and he had his gun drawn. The figure crept along the front of the store and took his position on the corner overlooking the trio. He was in a perfect position to flank...

"Ah shit. .." Myra said to herself as took but a brief moment to take in everything. Chances were those people in the alleyway were innocent and the man that was flanking was a looter of some kind, judging from the bag. She couldn't let those three get flanked like this. So reluctantly, Myra turned the corner, took aim, and fired three shots from her sidearm. At least one of them hit because the man fell forward and prostrated himself on the ground, bleeding out most likely.
True. Also evershadow, I'm not sure how far ahead you are with plot ideas but I've got a few if you ever need it.

The sage wisdom of Primez. Yeah, whatever works.

I'm pretty easy going there, Imp. You all seem so motivated for "x" to happen and whatnot and I'm just sitting here saying... "Yep that sounds good! Better and more detailed than what I had!"

So yea. Whatever works.
