I want to DM a 5e game. However, I've never done it online and have no clue what to do without paper, pencil, and DICE. I just don't trust digital rollers.
Appearance Grant is a cute guy with brown eyes and naturally brown hair that he often bleaches blonde. With a medium build and a typically laid back sense of fashion, he's not one for showing off with his appearances and likes to be average. He wears the same clothes to perform as he does to spend his freetime, which always includes his favorite yellow and brown jacket.
Height 5'9"
Personality Grant is a goofy kid who's not sure what to do with his life, so he's just going along with what feels right in the moment. He's pretty clever, and isn't one to step on toes, though he's incredibly stubborn and will argue even when he knows he's wrong. Positive and proud, Grant likes to see the bright side of things, regardless of how dark things seem. A big motivator for him is food, and he's not above selling himself out for a good meal. He doubts himself often, though he'd never let you know that, as he hates to seem weak. He's also not very impressed with himself, so he tends to beat himself up.
Music Industry Role Solo performer and Composer
Specified Job Details (Solo Performer) Grant makes electronic music, which is carried constantly on a flash drive. He often will perform in nightclubs under an alias of "Nemo Blacklight". He is capable of playing the piano and the guitar, and uses a blend of electronic piano and computerized mixing programs to create mixes, while live mixing when he performs. He also helps design the lights for his shows, personally favoring strobe lights and fire.
Relative Experience
Starting with playing with making electronic music and teaching himself when he was 15.
At 16, he released his first song that was considered a hit, Mach 11.
Started performing at 17 in aunt's club.
Was taught by father how to design lights for a show.
Worked for several different nightclubs in New York by 18.
Released first album, Spreading Salt, which sold just short of 750k copies.
Second Album Time Cyrcul was released at age 19. Sold nearly 1mil copies.
Biography Grant was a pretty typical kid in New York. He was pretty average in school, grade-wise, and he received a lot of grief for it, because of the high standards his brother had put in place. Eric, his brother, was a certifiable genius, and Grant's parents hoped their second son would be just as bright. When Grant was average, with a problem with math in particular, his parents were disappointed. Luckily, they simply pleaded with him to do better, but he was never punished, just distanced from.
Grant knew he would never reach the bar that had been set for him, so he withdrew and found solace online, watching videos and listening to music in particular. He eventually wondered how hard it would be to make music himself, and do something that Eric had never done before. With the hope of making his own way, at 15, Grant started playing with music on his laptop.
Hobby soon turned to obsession, and when you've got an obsession, school no longer matters. At only 16, Grant had quit school to focus on making music. It paid off, as he released songs and slowly gained internet popularity until Mach 11 was released, and he was suddenly internet famous and suddenly gaining the attention of his parents and other family.
Grant was soon employed by his aunt, Naomi, who was the owner of a small nightclub by the name of Cobalt. From there, his popularity only grew. He likes to think his invite was due to the fact he works mostly by himself, though he doubts that it's true.

Character Theme
@LetMeDoStuff@Poi Let me know if I need to change something or completely rehaul or whatever!
Ah! I see my mediocre title has drawn you in! I won't take too much time in introducing myself, because I know you're more interested in the meat of this post. My name is Pierce, but you can call me P, Prince, Pierce, and Lucian, because that's my middle name. I'm 19, almost 20, and I'm a sophomore in college with a major in Animation and a minor in depression. This means I can be spotty, and I can be very slow on replies.
Now that that's over with, let's get to the necessary evil thing, then to the good stuff.
First things first, I only to fade to black. No ifs, ands, or buts.
Please talk to me OoC, regardless of if it's just to drop our RP or to chat me up. I like conversation and I am a lonely bean.
That being said, your comfort is very important to me. Something makes you uncomfy? Let me know and we can fix it real quick!
I ask for about a paragraph per reply. More is always appreciated, and less is sometimes all you can muster, but on average, a paragraph or two is good.
I've got a couple things content-wise that I don't really want in my rp. Heavy gore and explicit drug use (like describing the use, not the fact that it's happening).
I'm bad about messaging you. I'm extremely forgetful when it comes to contact, especially when I get blindsided by my brain. I will try, but I can't always promise. I'm sorry ahead of time.
I like OCs. OCxOC because I don't want to butcher a canon character, and OCxCanon seems weird to me.
Good stuff time! I've got it broken down into categories.
