Sorry about the wait, my outdated computer was having some problems earlier. Everything is fixed now.
Name: Caius Argent
Gender: Male
Age: 22, 498
Role in the Circus: Fortune Teller
Magic (If Any): Caius is a powerful psychic who has four main abilities.
Future Sight, he is able to see into the future, but it is a very fickle thing. The simple stuff he does for the circus is just that, simple. All he must do is be in contact with a person, and he can see into their future up to a year away. He cannot see their death's however, death is an even more fickle thing than the future. The heavier stuff is much more difficult. It takes a lot more energy and concentration, but he can see further into the future and even see the future of an entire area not just one person. Occasionally, when something incredibly important is going to happen around him, his ability automatically activates, this causes severe headaches when it happens, because this future can be changed if he tells the right person about it. This is also the only time when he can see a person's death.(That part I'm not going to use unless I've discussed with the GM what that is going to be before hand. They can also use it to further the plot along if needed. I totally don't mind)
Telepathy, this ability is simple, as long as a person is within range he can speak to them using only his mind. They hear him in their brains and can reply by just thinking it. He cannot see into their minds when he does this, only speak and hear their replies.
Telekinesis, the staple of all psychics, Caius can lift objects with his mind. The larger the object, the more difficult it is and the more concentration it takes. He can lift moving objects as well, such as people and animals, but wiggling things are much harder to hold up than not wiggling things.
Sensing, Caius can sense the auras of people around him. Allowing him to literally read the mood of a conversation. He can tell when people are nearby by using this ability, and is able to tell whether or not they are hostile or friendly. This of course does have its range, and the further away the person is the less he can sense about their aura.
Reason for Joining Cirque de Noir: He was hit with a terrible, terrible vision, one of the worst ones he's ever gotten. Basically he saw that if he stayed with his crew, they would all end of dead or imprisoned. So he did the brave and selfless thing and left his life on the water, protecting the men he had grown up around. Madame Sombre found him nearly dead after he had been attacked and robbed of pretty much everything, including his left eye.
Past Life: People thought that Caius was born cursed. His mother died during childbirth, leaving his father who was the captain of a ship to raise him. He was on the water for almost his entire life up to his imprisonment. As he grew older he did a lot more on the ship, eventually becoming his father's right hand man, and then captain after his father's own death. He found out about his psychic powers one day at the age of eight, when a vision hit him as he was doing his chores. He saw a storm hitting their ship in three days time, and told his father about it. His father laughed and told him to stop daydreaming. Three days later, the storm did in fact hit. Caius' discovery of his telekinesis was one of the few things that saved them. Though he was exhausted afterward.
His father and the rest of the crew, though fearful of his strange ability, didn't hate or kill him for it. After all, he had saved their lives. Thus allowing him to stay on board the ship. He practiced his abilities everyday steadily growing stronger with them and figure out new things to do with them. His father died when Caius was sixteen and the boy took over the ship as captain, taking on his father's role and job. He did this until he was twenty-two, he had a vision so strong that he blacked out afterword. A vision of his crew dying at sea alongside him. He knew what he had to do, luckily they were docked at the time, unloading and reloading supplies and goods. Caius slipped out of the ship that night, never to be seen again by his crew.
He was ignorant to the ways of the land though, having lived on the ship almost his entire life. He was attacked by several men wanting his bag of supplies. Thinking he could take them, having fought quite a few battles by sea, he quickly learned that land combat and sea combat were much different. And the fact that he was outnumbered didn't help either. The men left him for dead, having taken his supplies, and his left eye as a warning. If Madame Sombre hadn't found him, he would surely be dead. Though now he suffers a fate much worse than death. Being unable to die.
