I've always loved this movie, so I'm def interested in this, and I agree with Yugeto, the powers should be limited to psychic/telekinesis, and our characters would innovate unique and personal ways of using it. Maybe wind or fire manipulation would be possible, but it wouldn't be so much manipulation of wind/fire itself than via telekinesis?
Ahh, I see, that makes more sense. It seems like when he's in the latter he'd probably feel more dysphoria. Like, I'm actually a trans girl too, and due to several unfortunate circumstances, I'm forced a lot of the time to present as male, and I'd say that's been causing dysphoria for me. But now that I think of it, that may not have to be the case for Arthur/Ruth, since different people experience gender dysphoria in different ways
Wouldn't it be more appropriate to write them with their female name and she/her pronouns? I'm sorry, I'm just a little confused, I think i understand they're a trans woman but nervous about presenting femininely in public, tho wouldn't they still be internally be female even if they can't present?
I'm interested
I'm interested, I always love mechas. As for realism, I think the most realistic size would be something out of armored core? I've been playing ACVD a lot, and the mecha sizes seem close to the Kuratas robot, an actual "mecha"
"Diablos...", Zairi thought to herself. A formidable monster, nothing she couldn't fight alone, but one must stay on alarm when facing. She tightened her grip on her tonfas, and went over to the board, joining as well.
Zairi continued following the group, though her eyes lingered at a small restaurant. Inside the kitchen, a group of felyne and human chefs were at work preparing various dishes. She caught a whiff of the foods they were cooking and made a mental note to return there later for dinner. The many shops in the bazaar she passed caught her eye as well, especially a tailor displaying a beautiful, recently made dress. Still, they were heading to the guild, so she continued making mental notes.

Once she arrived at the guild house, she calmly sat at a table, crossing her legs and toying with her tonfas.
Zairi had finished tying her hair back and applying her blue lipstick by the time the caravan stopped and Kojiro announced their arrival. While the others left, she stayed behind for a few moments to retrieve her new weapons; a unique design she'd never seen nor used before, called tonfas, before leaving the caravan to join the other hunters. She didn't speak, instead idly tapping her foot and waiting for a plan from them, as her one eye took in her new surroundings.
Name: Zairi

Age: 20

Gender: Trans Woman

Race: Human

Appearance: Zairi is a short, full figured young woman. While athletic, she is still rather chubby, and her arms are muscular due to her former use of great swords as a novice hunter. Her skin is a dark-medium beige, her eyes are black, and her hair is white and long. She also enjoys wearing vibrant blue lipstick.

As a hunter, she wears her hair back in a deconstructed ponytail. And for armor, she wears a variant of the Jhen Mohran armor, with a skirt instead of pants.

At one point, her left eye was damaged by a monster during a hunt, leaving a permanent scar in the shape of a four-pointed star. She commonly wears an eyepatch over it.

Weapon of choice: Her personal favorites are swords and shields, long swords, and charge axes, but currently, she is experimenting with a new type of weapon: Tonfas.

Personality: An experienced veteran, Zairi holds a wealth of knowledge of various monsters and how to defeat them. As a person she is calm and generally amiable, albeit normally quiet, unless something peaks her interest. In addition, she possesses a hair-trigger temper, and can become enraged very quickly.

Bio: Zairi was first introduced into hunting through her older brother, a master hunter. He trained her in the basics of hunting and led her through the beginning steps of her growth as a hunter, though later, he left after formally becoming a Guild Knight. Left without a mentor, Zairi went on continue training herself. Constantly excelling, she eventually became an elite hunter herself. While she grew strong and skilled on her own, she felt nostalgia of when she used to hunt with her brother as a team, and eventually joined a hunting caravan.

Skill: Cooking. She also helps coordinate with her knowledge of hunting.
Okay, so I'm almost done, but is it okay if I use descriptions for my character's appearence? I can't find any pictures I like for her
