Finally have time to get my character going aaaaand I'm drawing huge blanks.

I kind of want to recycle a character who keeps getting destroyed by RP failure, but I also kind of want to try something entirely different. (And no, unfortunately I don't have the time to devote to both options). The XY series is on Netflix isn't it? Let's see if I can find some inspiration

And sorry to hear about your dad, @Loony. I hope everything turns out all right
I think I'd prefer your interpretation.
@Bigg Slamm
I'm sure I speak for at least one other when I say you can definitely ask one of for help if you want to run a post by someone to make sure you won't have to go back and edit or if you need to see something under a hider. Anything you might need a little help with.
@Phoenix On behalf of Prints I'm just going to say you won't be disappointed with what they've in mind. From the short time we've RPed together, they've left quite the impression on me.

Okay now you're setting up expectations I may not live up to. Oh, the Pressure. My PP is getting used up
@PhoenixI've got a rough idea in mind, as well as an interest in exploring the use of a certain Pokemon when free from game mechanics. I don't have much more than that just yet. Work and all that. I'm trying to make up for it by staying active here :P

I'll PM you though.
@Prints Avoid Prints you bloody genius

I know

Thanks for that. I think I get where you're going.

So you fleshed out this AU Hoenn pretty well and opened up the RP to characters from other regions. Would we be free to mess with the other regions' histories and cultures for our characters' backstories? I don't have anything too big in mind just yet, but I was thinking Unova would be a lot less environmentally friendly than Hoenn.
Typing is somewhat irrelevant (any type can learn to withstand any weakness, but this must come at a cost).

Pokemon may have and additional type added to their species. They may also have types omitted. This goes for Pokemon moves, as well.

Would you mind elaborating on these two points please? With these and the rule governing types of moves a Pokemon can know, I'm having trouble understanding the level of importance of types.
I'd like to ask a few questions to everyone.

At what level do you would you prefer this to be? I'm sure most of you are actually at an advanced level but stay in casual. Regardless, I would enforce those site's explosive for the relevant section this is placed.

Would you prefer 3-5 or 5-10 players? I just want to know what is most comfortable for you and how much work I'll have to put in to involve everyone (which I wouldn't mind in the least).

Again, any and all questions are welcome and you always PM me with any concerns. :)
Thank you all again.

Personally, either Casual or Advanced is fine with me. I don't hang around Advanced much, but I like to think I can keep up. As for numbers, I find smaller groups easier to interact with, but I mean if we can keep a larger group organized, that's fine too. It all depends on how well you think you can keep a large group moving :P
Oh so this didn't get going after all? Disappointing but maybe it's something we could try later. We may have all just had a bit of Harry Potter burnout
