Upon hearing the dramatic and booming voice of the one of No Points, Boom quickly wrapped the ring up in the make-shift mitten. He quickly tossed it back into his sack with the rest of his wonderful things. Peering up at the hulking monstrosity, Boom spoke rather nervously. "N-nothing of note for man with No Pointses."

Frantically the Kokiri scratched at himself, as he eyed his sack for a moment. After gulping down some traces of spit, he stared back upwards at the man. He needed something, anything to move the dialogue away from his trinkets. "Shelterses." He quickly spoke, trying to change the subject as quickly as possible. "What of the otherses? Back out of cave?" Boom gestured towards the lake behind him, "Has fish. Juicy and sweet." He said as he noticed that his fingernails had pooled up some fish mucous and blood; as such he quickly licked at them.

"Nice cave. Dark and cold, yessss, good place. No Pointses should make sure to get others yes." Boom quickly remarked. If there was one thing he needed right now, it was a distraction and something to get him to avoid the subject of Boom's treasure. No Points was not going to get his grubby little paws on it. It was his treasure. All belonging to him.

Perhaps just mentioning the others, would be enough to stop any further questioning on his rightful property.

Well, if just conjuring a barrel of gunpowder is not up to snuff as a weapon. How about say, a pair of guns sound? Or I could always go with the trusty Gem Destabilizer.

And cool, Outpost leader. Sounds like a swell job.
I've noticed something odd. There are no Homeworld Gems! Lemme fix that for ya.

I'm just going to presume that, no one is near to spot the glorious discovery of the kokiri. Yes, yes, that would be most beneficial to all.
"So bright... so beautiful... ah." Boom spoke incredibly reverently as he stared at the make-shift mitten which he kept cupped in his hands. The small kokiri was fascinated by the beautiful design, and the fact it had produced such a magnificent heat. The creature licked at its face, still covered with a traces of blood from that succulent, and juicy meal. A thought dawned upon him

"We must guards it, from thingses that would try to steals it from us." The Kokiri noted, as he admired the glimmers the ring gave in the dark light. "They can't has it. It is Boom's." Boom noted with a sense of nervousness. This was his treasure, alongside all the rest. Not a single scrap of his hard earned treasure would go to those meat-shields. Especially not this pretty ring, with its enchanting beauty.

"It burns when we held it." Boom flicked out his tongue as he licked at his fangs. Staring at his bag of wonders, he grinned as a curious thought dawned upon him. "Yes it did." The kokiri stared back into the ring, kept comfortably in the improved mitten. "We keeps you nice and safe. Shelter here, nice and dark. With fishes juicy and sweet!" The kokiri eagerly smiled, before looking side to side nervously.

No one dare needed to learn of the treasure he gained. They would dare place their greedy little paws on the pretty ring. Boom could not allow that to happen, the beautiful treasure was his and his alone. Skittering towards his sack, he placed down the gathered-shirt cloth which hosted the ring. Despite the fact that holding it earlier caused a fairly powerful burning sensation, Boom slowly reached down with his index finger in an attempt to wear the ring. "So bright, so beautiful."

Boom licked at his lips upon realizing, the thing was safe. Quickly he plopped the beetle into his mouth and began crushing it to death, eating it with a bit of a grimace. The kokiri shot out his tongue, and closed his eyes when he fully gulped the creature down his gullet. "Bleh. Ickies. Beetle tastes fouls."

Upon walking for some-time, he noticed the interesting thing the path had. However, what truly caught his attention was the movement in the lakes. "Lakeses have treasureses." Boom stated in a matter of fact tone. He growled as he hissed to himself, "But no food! No good fish!" Boom plopped himself down at the granite sandbar and sat down. He raised an eyebrow curiously as he noticed something else moving through the water.

This lake was bound to have good things. As such, it deserved a close examination. Boom carefully observed the lake, trying to find out the interesting things it held within, for all lakes had great treasure within them.
The Kokiri was most satisfied with this bit of haul. These were all useful things, that he promptly stashed away in his bag as soon as he collected them. Though he did keep out one of the treasures; that succulent and juicy beetle was much too tantalizing to leave alone. After all, Boom had not eaten in awhile. And fighting against part of the horrid Guardian, along with extensive travel, took a toll on the creature's stomach. Boom's maw was slavering, as he hungrily stared at the beetle.

"Wriggles and writhes." Boom sang out with a cheerful childlike glee. His ravenous looking eyes stared at the beetle as it tried to wriggle from his grasp. With a malevolent grin, Boom plucked his right thumb and index finger on one of the beetles legs. With a quick flick, he snapped it off, watching as the beetle desperately tried squirming away even faster.

But of course it was to no avail, as Boom chuckled at its suffering. "Twists and turns." He plucked at another of the beetle's legs as he sang his merry tune.

Of course, while torturing the poor beetle, Boom was checking to determine if it was safe to eat. He knew those morels looked edible. However, Boom craved flesh, and would prefer to save the other rations to devour later. He hoped the bug would be safe to eat, because it did look so delicious. And so the end result of Boom's antics was that the beetle had only one leg, that it flailed about in a pathetic manner.

It was then Boom focused his attention to the three directions in the cave he could go. He found himself drawn towards the left path, where the sound of water was coming from. Water was good, as it gave drink. But of course, water could mean fish. Succulent and slimy fish. The things would flop about, desperately trying to escape, only to eventually be devoured and torn apart by Boom's fangs.

The kokiri now felt the urge to eat fish, alongside or instead of the beetle. And if the beetle wasn't safe, Boom could always use it for bait for fish. Or drown it in the water. Or smash it somewhere.

So with his thoughts on possibly finding fish, Boom traversed the unbearably moist path, keeping an eye out for other things that were shiny and valuable looking. After all, he could not pass up finding any other delightful baubles and things.
Boom's question seemed to be answered. Well it wasn't answered at all really, but Boom's attention was drawn to something new. The cave, it was lit. And before it had a boulder hiding it. And when the boulder was removed, it had only darkness. Boom had heard many stories about magical places that seem to become lit for no apparent reason.

That meant treasure. And treasure meant Boom would have shiny things. Precious things. Precious things that were shiny. They would belong to Boom, and if there was an abundance of shiny things. He would easily have something to trade for the far more important explosives, when he hit a trader that could supply him with it.

"Keeee! Blesses us the fireses." Boom squeaked out in a devoted delight. As such, he removed his attention from the Great Fairy and to the cave. The kokiri quickly skittered into the cave, looking for anything shiny pieces of treasure.
Boom glanced at the statues for a moment. Whatever laid behind it, would prove useful. Perhaps it'd be useful anyway. "It continues to speaks only paaaiiiin." Boom noted to himself. He gave a quick nod, "Pain, only pain." He peered at the fountain, while barring his fangs as his maws were slavering. "Curses to the Guardian!" He hissed under his breath. The creature was saddened by the fact he was unable to explode this place. Well he could, but the destruction it brought would not nearly be as devastating and charred by fire and shrapnel as he'd like.

Plus it'd probably risk his survival, among the meat-shields. Low on explosives, Boom could not act on that particular desire.

Quickly the diminutive creature hoisted back its bag upon his back. Pondering for a moment, Boom knew, since he couldn't engage in wanton destruction, he instead needed to expand his myriad amount of knowledge.

The kokiri skittered towards Dingle and poked at the Great Fairy's leg. "What does it do?"
Boom hissed out, "The treasureses. It lacks it." Glaring at the newly covered spore statue, the small kokiri pondered for a moment. Perhaps he would give glancing at it another shot. "Keeee..." Boom hissed out once more, as he reached his one of his hands into the water. Casually, the kokiri tossed some water at one of the statues to see if he would locate any detection of treasure.

Of course, it was highly spore infected and Boom did not manage to get it through. Perhaps he didn't toss the water right, or that he was not searching correctly for treasure.

Either way, Boom hoped they'd eventually go to Nu-Goro soon. He had plans and machinations in the making after all. Plus he needed to restock his bomb supply, and the Goron tended to make good explosives.
