The diminutive corpse pale Kokiri, peered back from Raisa and bared out his fangs. "We not care." Boom gave a single nod and again seemed to speak to himself, "No cares." He pointed out his index finger at him as he kept his position behind Raisa.

"Searches it! Searches it!" He shrieked out. The Kokiri glanced to the side as he spoke, "It finds us. How? How how!?" He grumbled out to himself as he glanced side to side.

"What does it work for?" Boom said peeking out from the left side of Raisa. This was followed by hissing, "Foul thingses! It works for foul thingses!" He said popping his head from the right side.

Boom knew many things. Such as how unlikely it would be that this person didn't work for the foul ones as a scout. After what they did, he knew something would be after them.

Chuck Greene - Athas

Compared to other motocross runs, this gig was going to be simple. All that Chuck needed to do was just drive past the horrific tendrils and keep the bike intact. The fact the course was smooth, instead of being far more rugged as they usually were, was going to make maneuvering easier. But that really wasn't ever a problem for Chuck. This hover-bike would do just fine. After all it was already zipping down the track with ease. In fact it was causing a few of the droids a bit of trouble in catching up to record the footage for broadcasting.

The tendrils from before submerged themselves into the depths from whence they came. However that didn't stop other tendrils from rising and trying to drag the Chuck and the hover-bike down. But with his driving capabilities he managed to speed past another series of tentacles, zipping down the track once more.

But of course, things wouldn't be as peachy as he was approaching the half stretch. This time the tentacles shot up in front of him like a wall. The bike slammed right into it, as the speed of the collision caused Chuck to slam into one of them. He was a bit bruised, and his nose was now bloodied from the impact. But it was nothing that hasn't happened to him before. And the motor-bike was still usable, albeit dented.

As the tendril warped to get around him, Chuck regained his senses and lunged back on-top of the seat of his hover-bike. However two of the tentacles were gripping onto the hover-bike. Chuck reached his hands seemingly into his pockets as he pulled out his Paddle-saw. He stared at the tentacles, "Hands off my bike."

With that said he began swinging the active chainsaws to smack the tendrils. The roaring chainsaws were ripping into the flesh of the two. They quickly receded back into the depths. The other eight were slamming towards Chuck. Again he swung the Paddle-saw at the other tendrils, just like if it was a crowd of zombies that needed to be dispatched.

Not wanting to get struck anymore the tendrils again sank into the depths. Chuck returned his Paddle-saw from whence it came, and then sat back on the bike. "Right, well let's get back to it." He noted to himself as he sped off once more down the Athas track. After all he did need to complete the gig.
Boom slept comfortably while using his sack of wonders as a makeshift pillow. Damp grottos served well for providing shelter, after all they held fishes. Delicious fishes that were juicy and sweet, they were always a filling meal alongside morsels. The kokiri was satisfied with his haul from searching earlier. And it was still safe.

Things were going well, all he needed to do now was to make sure the others continued on the path Boom wanted. For the kokiri would find out the secrets of He Who Makes the Mountains Quake. And going to the Nu-Goro Mountains was sure to help him learn the things he wanted, and of course help refill his stash of explosives. The kokiri would make sure his machinations went according to plan.

Whatever dreams were held during the Kokiri's slumber were quickly interrupted the spore deku trumpeted out a painful tune. Boom, knowing the importance of sound alerts sprung up and into action. He slung his bag over his shoulder as he glanced side to side, to see where the Gerudo, the Fairy and the Man With No Pointses was. The Gerudo was not there, but the other two were.

Skittering towards the entrance of the cavern he turned his head to the side as he spoke, "I-INTRUDERSES!" Boom turned his head to the side as he nodded, "One. Just one." He spoke before turning again to the side and hissing, "More follow. More always follow."He grumbled to himself.

Pointing out one of his fingers, the corpse-pallor colored creature did a few mental calculations. The kokiri skittered a bit towards Raisa and when firmly secured behind her, he spoke up. "Checks it for weaponses." Now he had a proper meat-shield protecting him from the potential hostility. Now he just needed to wait for the others of the Caravan to come out and be prepared.

The sooner this situation was resolved, the sooner he could head to Nu-Goro.

Chuck Greene - Athas

A camera-operator decked out in power armor was busy setting up a camcorder. After he set up the camera, he was double-checking the condition of his hover-boots. He needed to be absolutely sure they worked as intended; after all the event was not taking place in any two-bit desert, but in the Sea of Silt. The Sea of Silt was an incredibly dangerous place, full of all sorts of dangerous critters. And merely standing on the sands would cause a man to sink into the desert, then into the ocean below. The sand filled winds whipped at the camera-man's armored suit. Above the camera-man hovered some smaller camera drones. The droids idly floated above the track, ready to collect footage at a variety of angles. By some miracle, the red sand which marked the motocross track was still intact.

Chuck Greene was sitting on-top of his bright yellow dirt-bike. Its frame was marked with a TIR logo with a number five just above it. The dirt-bike continued to idly hover above the sands, while emitting a dim noise. Chuck cocked his head towards the cameraman and spoke. "So what's the catch?" The camera-man didn't respond immediately, as he was busy listening to a communication device that was in the suit.

This place was far too quiet to really be a spot for a TV spectacle. The fact that there wasn't something running about making havoc quickly tipped Chuck off to the fact that something was off. And he was going to find out what that something was.

A few seconds after hearing Chuck speak, the operator turned his attention onto the contestant. "Huh-wha?" The camera-man spoke as he tried to recall what was said just a few seconds ago. "Uh well Terror is Reality isn't filming yet, so you don't need to race down the track yet." Chuck shook his head and glanced at the man, "No I mean what's the actual catch." Before Chuck could finish up his piece, the Cameraman interrupted him. "They finished the introduction back at the Studio. We're on in Five-"

Chuck properly started up his hover-bike and grabbed onto its handles. "Four." The folks at home would soon see this particular Terror is Reality challenge. Though to Chuck, this particular challenge still seemed off. "Three-" But he didn't decide to dwell on it. After all, Chuck needed to give the folks who were watching the broadcast a good show.

"Two..." Chuck revved up his engines, as he let the engines roar. He didn't dwell on the thought of how the audience would like the show. Chuck instead focused on the real important thing here, his daughter Katey. Shortly after the engines were revved, the ground began shaking violently. "One!" The red lights of the various cameras flashed on.

And just when the cameras began to broadcast Chuck at the track, ten white giant tendrils shot up from the ground, spraying dirt towards Chuck and lashing towards him. Chuck stared unamused, but he gave a bit of a smirk. He now knew what the catch of this round was. "So, calamari." He quipped as he sped off with his hovering dirt-bike, while swiftly driving through the tendrils. The tendrils thrashed and swung towards him, but so far they did not manage to land a hit on the bike.

The Athas Motocross speed-run had now truly begun.
I already got the best treasure. Shiny stuff, so all is good.

Whenever the pick-up/role call is finished, wanna start up at Next Day? As we did get our shelter.
Name: Chuck Greene

Age: 30

Gender: Male

Canon, AU, or OC?: Canon

Universe of Origin: Dead Rising

Personality: Chuck is a no-nonsense man used to living in a nonsensical world. Though he means well, he often says exactly the wrong thing at the worst possible time. Chuck has a strong sense of justice, and will do anything to protect his loved ones and friends. His abrasive nature often gets him in trouble with the local authorities.

Abilities/Weapons:
Heroic Resolve: Chuck is impossibly durable. Able to take bullets, chainsaws, zombie bites, and explosives many times over without perishing, it's a wonder he is still so handsome after what he's been through.

Arbitrary Resourcefulness: Chuck is a dab hand at mechanics, electronics, medicine, biology, combustion mechanics, and the art of warfare. Oddly enough, this only applies when Chuck is either trying to kill something or making weapons to kill something. It's often suggested that, if Chuck were to broaden his horizons and realize that everything he does is killing something in a way, he could conquer the world within the week.

Driver's License: Chuck is a master at racing motorcycles. Somehow, this translates into exceptional skills at piloting golf carts, forklifts, train cars, starships, trucks, and mecha. When pressed, he cannot adequately explain how to operate these vehicles, suggesting some mystical driving force behind it.

Lightning Metabolism: Even though it should logically be impossible, Chuck can recover from any nonfatal wounds instantaneously through eating food. His digestive tract is equally fantastic, being capable of consuming, holding down, and digesting entire pizzas within seconds.
His metabolism extends to any toxic or debilitating chemicals he consumes. He will suffer the effects of alcohol, food, or chemical poisoning for mere fractions of a minute at a time, before immediately returning to peak form.

Paddlesaw: One of Chuck's favorite weapons, the Paddlesaw is a pair of chainsaws crudely duct-taped to a massive kayak paddle. Chuck uses this as both a paddle for wading through seas of zombified meat and a horribly unwieldy bo staff, to great effect. It is significantly more durable than one would think, and the chainsaws do not appear to need fuel.

Knife Gloves: Another of Chuck's favorite weapons, the Knife Gloves are six mundane kitchen knives embedded in a set of oversized novelty boxing gloves. Given impossible strength through Chuck's eldritch usage of nothing but duct tape, these knives are fully capable of slashing military kevlar to ribbons and cleaving flesh from bone with only a single wild swing.

Katey Greene: Does not accompany him on his adventures. That would be just stupid. She stays at his luxury apartment on Yggdrasil. Despite the UMMA's extensive medical science research, they could not find a way to cure her condition. However, they did find a way to manufacture Zombrex. The UMMA gladly provides Katey with Zombrex, so long as Chuck remains faithful to them and provides the UMMA's citizens with thrilling entertainment.

Backstory: Born in 1983, Chuck's childhood was rather mundane. Through unknown means, he became a star motocross champion, and travelled across the country to show off his driving skills.

Along the way, he met his future wife Pam Greene, and together they had a lovely daughter named Katey. The trio were inseparable, following Chuck wherever he went, and offering support whenever he was down.

Tragedy struck when a catastrophic outbreak broke out in Las Vegas in 2008, just as Chuck and his family were about to enter it. Unable to escape the city before Pam was infected and zombified, Pam managed to infect Katey before being brought down by Chuck. Together, Chuck and Katey narrowly escape Las Vegas before the city was wiped out.

Now forced to constantly buy the miracle anti-zombification drug Zombrex for his ailing daughter, Chuck worked himself to the bone. Any motocross event that would take him, Chuck joined. Barely managing to make a living between buying Zombrex and maintaining his prized motorcycle, Chuck was a wreck of a man.

Barely three years later, tragedy struck Chuck again as he was trapped in Fortune City just as another zombie outbreak began. Forced to fend for his life for his daughter's sake, Chuck managed to not only rescue a number of civilians, but uncover and destroy the insidious operations of both supposed instigator Tyrone King and the dangerously opportunistic pharmaceuticals company Phenotrans. After a harrowing series of fights against both Phenotrans' chief operative and the eternally-ungrateful Tyrone King,

Life for Chuck Greene had changed quite a bit since the outbreak. Still a loving father with a loving daughter and a potential flame in political activist Stacey Forsythe, Chuck became more active in uncovering all of Phenotrans' dirty laundry. Without anyone to help him find leads, Chuck Greene resorted to old-fashioned bare-knuckle investigations, sneaking into labs and stealing confidential information.

While investigating one promising-looking Phenotrans holding, he discovered a strange device. It thrummed with a strange heat and, when activated, created a portal to somewhere. But where? On the device was the insignia of a strange organization called 'Shadow Eternity'. Just as he was about to take a picture of the strange device, a number of heavily-armed and heavily-armored goons wearing the same insignia surrounded him! With nowhere to run, Chuck fled through the portal and arrived right next to a team of UMMA agents investigating what Shadow Eternity was doing with Phenotrans.

Sensing a hero in Chuck, the agents gladly let Chuck join the UMMA, on the condition that they bring Katey and Stacey along as well. Now a member of the UMMA, Chuck happily became a TV star, performing amazing tricks in exotic universes for fame and fortune. Though Zombrex was provided free of charge to his family, Chuck still worked as hard as ever, bringing fantastic entertainment to the UMMA's population.
