Current Getting new RP ideas is agonizing when you realize you need to shelf them until you're less busy.

Smiling softly as he helped Aziza gather her breakfast, the earlier spat began to shift away from his mind as he relaxed once again. That was until he heard her bring up the dream again. Images from it came back to him, broken, split up, but keeping the major details clear as day. He sighed softly as she spoke up, he nodded slowly as she whispered softly, nodding. "I uh... Had the same dream." He sighed, it still felt strange, sharing dreams as if they'd all been sitting in the same theatre. Reaching up, he gently took her hand and offered it a soft, comforting squeeze as he stood with her.

"We can talk about it later, you should have something to eat." He smiled softly, eyes locked with hers for a moment or two as he stood with his fingers laced with hers, turning his gaze back toward the table as he looked over those present. He could see that William seemed to have arrived, and Peter and Vera had both come back in now. Glancing back to Aziza, he gave her another gentle smile. "Cmon, you should eat." He said, heading back toward the table, trying to save any discussion of the dream for later, he preferred to just savour what was for now, a comfortable morning.

Moving into the mess hall, William glanced around before he set eyes upon the Lord Major and all the others, it seemed that it hadn't just been Vera who had come to the barracks that night, rather unexpectedly, everyone was there. William couldn't help but assume there must have been something he had clearly missed the night before. Sighing, he moved over toward the table and cleared his throat, giving everyone present a nod. "Morning, I wasn't expecting quite the get-together." He chuckled softly as he moved to take a seat, trying to hide his own distaste.

His anger at that point had more or less faded, it was shifting now into a general discomfort, soon enough as he sat there, and even more so when Vera and Peter came into the room, he looked just as ill as Vera did. He didn't want to feel this way, part of William wanted to be happy for her, Vera was a marvelous women, completely deserving of someone as wonderful and proper as Peter, even if William had to stop himself from shuddering at the thought. He sighed again, just trying to ignore it all as well as he could, though William just could not help but feel sick.

Sorry for the delay, been distracted with exams. Posting now but may end up on day 5 before I have a chance to post again, then I'll be able to post much more regularly.

Ooh, so many character possibilities.
Considering Liam's perfect twenty I'm now convinced he doesn't talk to god, he is god.

Liam groaned in agony as the pain ran through him. For the most part, he'd grown relatively used to the agony which came with every vision, but, usually he got them one at a time. He gasped, eyes going wide as the pain ripped through him, as if he was being beaten, stabbed and shot all at once as they flashed before his eyes, none of it made sense to him. It was as if the big man upstairs had accidentally spilt his diet coke all over the controls and was frantically hitting every button while he tried to wipe it up. As soon as they stopped, he panted heavily and tried to gather himself, trying to pull the air back into his lungs. He opened his mouth for a smart comment, but just as he did he was hit again, guess the man upstairs had decided to smash the keyboard with a hammer, just for good measure.

He appreciated at least that this one made sense, it confused, even scared him that previously he hadn't understood a single one of the visions he'd gotten, but at least this one he could make sense of. As it disappeared, he panted, remaining where he was for a few moments. "You know what, fuck the deal I made earlier, i'm so never quitting drinking." He groaned painfully to the big man who didn't even seem to listen any more. Knowing what he had to do next, Liam fought harder, struggling to break free of the chains as well as he could, relying mostly on brute strength as he pushed against the wall, hoping to get loose enough just to slip out, he had to get to the train station.

Hearing Aziza's initial response to Haakon and Josephine, Harry frowned, giving her a nod as she thanked him before comfortably leading her away from the table in time. He gave her hand a gentle squeeze as he usually did once he felt her fingers lace with his own, moving over toward the buffet as he glanced over to her. "I'll happily escort you home, or anywhere else, if you decide you've had enough at any point." He assured her quietly. It was strange for Harry, over the past day or so he had experienced quite the shift in personality. His book, the very reason he'd come to Cairo in the first place, was no longer a concern in his mind, his own safety was little one at this point. Instead, Harry had begun to feel as though his greatest purpose was essentially to be a guardian to Aziza, there was just something about the way he felt around her, she could drown out all the nightmares and thoughts that he still had, that he normally would have had in a place such as where they were.

Reaching the buffet with her, he smiled softly as he shook the thought from his mind, not realising he'd been gripping her hand a little tightly as it ran through his mind. "Now, let's see what we have here..." He took some time explaining all of the available dishes, smiling as he did so. In a way it was nostalgic, seeing the kind of food available that he as an enlisted man only dreamed of having during the war. There had been a few times where he and a few of the other non-commissioned officers had snuck into the officer's kitchen to steal leftovers before they left for Africa, it felt strange to actually be able to properly enjoy it all. Strange, but good.

As William waited by the gate he couldn't help but feel an odd pit in his stomach. His mind was on a loop, reminding him to ensure that Vera was okay. It was surreal, never before had he experienced such a sensation, and he couldn't understand why. Vera was lovely, attractive and intelligent, her clumsiness had a sort of adorable charm and the ways she acted when she became frustrated with him were almost endearing. However, it was not the first time he'd had a physical attraction to a woman before, that was essentially true of almost any woman William ever laid eyes on. No, there was something more about Vera, something he couldn't put his finger on, it just didn't make sense to him.

Turning his gaze over to the other man who approached, William raised an eyebrow as he said he was sent by the warden. Suddenly the pit in William's gut got deeper, what if he was here to inform the Lord-Major that something terrible had happened to Vera, that she had been one of those murdered the night before, or that something else even more tragic and awful had befallen her. His face went white as a sheet as he turned to the guard, quickly hurrying after him as he let his eyes dart around the barracks, looking for any sign of the Lord-Major. As they reached the courtyard however, that feeling in his gut disappeared, setting his eyes upon Vera.

He smiled, genuinely and with relief as he saw her, about to run off away from the guard and over to ensure she was indeed okay, then he realized who she was with. Seeing as Peter slipped his arm around her, that horrid, wretched feeling in his gut returned, twisted far more now than it had been before as his smile faded quickly and turned into almost a scowl, William had never experinced jealousy before. Quickly, before Peter could look over and see his distaste, he turned and continued following the guard, paying her no mind, well, trying not to.

Liam continued his quiet prayers, only disturbed from them as he heard the incredibly loud scream of the hooded figure. Closing his eyes to protect them from the intense light, he opened them to see the massive hole in the wall, craning his neck to see the police officers. Turning his gaze back to the Nerd as he spoke up, he glared in his direction, more or less expecting to be dealt away with next. But instead the nerd moved off and through the wall. He had no idea what he was doing, where he was going, but Liam didn't exactly want to wait around to find out.

As he was left alone, Liam began to properly struggle for the first time since he'd been chained up against the wall. He wasn't sure why he had been left alive, but he knew that it probably wouldn't stay that way for long. He kept struggling, pushing against the chains, hoping to get lucky and break free or at least get loose through brute strength. However, he did cast his gaze around, he didn't think he'd be able to reach much, but the more he could see and anything that would help him escape certainly wasn't going to go awry in that situation.
