Ideally i'll be getting Darren's CS and a post up for him tonight when i'm back from dinner, should have my replacement char for Liam up over the weekend.
At the very least, at least I have an excuse to really embrace my role with the new character.

Fun Fact; it's the same face I made reading the update. :P
O-oh.

Well that sucks.

Welp, I'll make a new one when I'm done mourning!

Julianna Hardin

Location: The Castle of Abhainn
Interacting With: Each Other

Julianna made yet another mental note to grab Aedyn so that she can discuss some matters that have been bothering her as of late. She trusted Aedyn and really felt that it was not a mistake to do so. While the nerves were coming back to her being, she could still feel judging eyes upon her and it was not sitting well within her. She just wanted to marry the King of Abhainn and be Queen, hopefully a good one. Speaking of Queens, Rhoslyn, made her presence known towards King Maddox, who also apologized for her husband's actions so early within their arrival. Julianna honestly felt that Jack should've been apologizing but everyone knew that wasn't going to happen.

Once Rhoslyn started to wipe off whatever blood she could from Julianna's dress, her ears twitched at her words as she could not help but smile. "Why thank you, Queen Rhoslyn." She bowed respectfully towards her. It was then Jack spoke once again and mentioned something about gifts, which he brought from Sliabh. Julianna noticeably rolled her eyes at Jack's display of gifts then looked at King Maddox as he complimented on the gifts.

When Maddox spoke that his servants would escort them towards their rooms, she thanked him with a smile but then gasped whenever he took her hand and placed a kiss upon her knuckles. "Oh, my." She managed to breath out then watched Maddox start to walk away. Once the other nobles started to scatter and such, along with servants moving to do their king's bidding, Julianna walked over towards Keir and smiled. "I'll be in my room shortly. Feel free to pick an outfit out for yourself from my belongings, if you wish."

Aedan had remained silent as Maddox continued to speak to Julianna and Jack. Aedan did somewhat appreciate it when Rhoslyn came forward. He didn't trust the queen, similarly to how he did not trust Jack, but he knew she was already an infinitely better ruler than Jack was, someone cool and calculated, rather than a child throwing an occasional tantrum. When one of the servants approached him, Aedan gave the man a nod and reached up, removing his heavy fur cloak as he handed it over to the man, ready to follow him off to his room as he adjusted his sheathe momentarily.

Once she spoke that, she made her way over to Aedyn, muttering towards him now. "Walk with me?" She questioned towards him as she looped her arm with his, causing a few people to mumble but she knew that there was nothing more going on between them other than a trusted friendship and that's all that matters.

Turning his gaze back over toward Julianna as he heard her voice, Aedan paused as he gave her a nod. "Of course, my lady." He said respectfully, giving another nod to the servant as he watched the man head off to take the furs to his room, he would find it later. For now he simply appreciated having the weight and warmth off his shoulders, he still never enjoyed being so far south, even without his furs the heat was getting to him somewhat, and the day was more mild than it was properly hot.

Feeling Julianna's arm loop with his own, he took his hand gently off his sword and belt and glance over toward her, allowing her to lead as he ignored the muttering of the crowd still watching - eager to get out from under watching eyes, it was one part of being a noble he had not gotten used to. "What did you need of me, my lady?" He asked, still speaking to Julianna often as though he were still only a knight, and not a lord, at least until the wedding - of almost equal rank and stature to her.

When Aedyn asked what she needed of him, she shrugged her shoulders while looking down at the ground beneath the both of them. Julianna let out a soft sigh before lifting her head up and her eyes averted over towards him now. "Not sure if it is the nerves or what but I don't feel very safe here." She admitted in a whispered tone, one only Aedyn could hear. "I need you close by, at all times, Aedyn. I feel safer whenever you're close by and plus, I trust you." Julianna mentioned towards him as she stopped in her tracks and continued to look right at him.

Aedan nodded his head softly as she spoke, idly glancing around as he moved along with her. In a way he was not surprised that she did not feel safe, he didn't particularly. For many years they had been at war with the Abhainnians, and Aedan still thought it quite likely that this so-far temporary peace could be thrown into disaster once more. He hoped he was wrong, that the Abhainnians truly wished peace just as much as the Slibahns, but he figured all that could be done was to wait and see. He turned his gaze toward her briefly as she spoke again, nodding his head once. "You flatter me, my lady - I'll stand ready whenever you need me." He assured her, unable to help his tone - speaking more like a soldier than a noble at that moment.

"Is there any reason you have been quiet thus far?" Julianna asked as she even smiled towards him. "No need to be so serious right now." She teased him slightly while giving him a small nudge on the shoulder as she was trying to loosen him up a bit.

Aedan halted for a moment as she questioned him on his silence, neutral expression remaining even as she smiled and nudged him. He considered her comment. For the most part, he had been wary, similar to how she had said - he did not truly trust many of the Abhainnians, and having fought against them for so many years, it felt strange to now be walking the halls of their castle, and preparing for a wedding. "Just a soldier's nerves, my lady." He answered simply, deciding not to burden her with his thoughts. "Though, the southern weather doesn't help." He jested quietly, offering the slightest hint of a smile for only a moment or two, before his face turned neutral once more.

Talking with Aedyn made her feel a little bit better, to be honest. It's nice to have someone be there for her whenever her nerves got the best of her and she was happy that it was Aedyn in this moment. Julianna nodded her head at his response towards her question about him being quiet and could not help but chuckle towards him after his other comment. "Well, I guess we better go and get ready for tonight's celebration, huh?" Julianna said as they made in within the doorway of Abhainn's castle.

Bowing his head somewhat as she suggested they move to get ready, Aedan moved to gently clasp his hands behind his back, stopping in the doorway as he looked over toward her. He had concerns over how safe Julianna would be in the long run. While he was there, he was able to protect her, and he would certainly do so - but in time he would return home, and he could do no more. It had been one of his promises to the late king of Sliabh - to protect Julianna for as long as he was able. Now it seemed that was beginning to come to an end, and it troubled Aedan.

She leaned over towards Aedyn, giving him a brief hug then held onto his shoulders while looking into his eyes. "Thanks for making me feel better, Aedyn. I truly appreciate having you around." Julianna mentioned towards him with a soft smile to follow her words. She really did enjoy her moment with Aedyn though and hoped that he could feel that vibrating from her.

Somewhat caught off-guard by the hug, Aedan only shifted his hands to his sides, not properly returning the hug as she spoke, eyes watching hers as he'd give her a nod. "There's no need to thank me, my lady." He said with another gentle nod, unsure how else to really reply. As their conversation ceased, he let her head off first, taking a moment or two to himself as he glanced back outside, briefly resting his palm upon the pommel of his sword. He stood there for a moment or two, thinking, before he sighed and turned, heading for the room he'd had prepared for him.

"See you at the celebration." Was all she left Aedyn with before waltzing away from him and heading towards her room, which was specially prepared for her. She did wonder to herself if her lady-in-waiting, Keir, was in her room and picking out an outfit like she had requested earlier or was Keir in her own room, getting ready. Julianna shrugged the thoughts away as two guards surrounded her now and escorted her towards her room.

Harry smiled softly, but he had to force himself not to chuckle as Aziza claimed how lucky she had been to meet him. He might have found it odd how willing he really was to make such a promise to her, but there was not a doubt in his mind that if it were not him, someone else would have been there to keep Aziza safe. Perhaps it was some strange kind of divinity or destiny he still held as a delusion, he wasn't sure, but he certainly didn't think he was doing anything exceptionally noble by promising his protection. He was simply pleased to know that she did feel safe, at least to a degree, with his words.

He turned his gaze toward her and his eyes met hers as he sat silently with her, halting for a moment as a jolt ran through his spine. It was an odd feeling, like a sudden shock of static electricity. Harry opened his mouth for a moment, as if to speak, but found rather quickly that no words came, and he sat staring at her, mouth agape for a moment or two before he finally shut it, not wishing to prolong the awkwardness further as he fought to clear his mind of the sudden halting which had overcome him. Finding his wits again, he just gave her a gentle smile and shook his head, gently setting his free hand atop hers. "There's no need to thank me Aziza, I just want you to be safe."

William Drake

Location: The Egyptian Museum

Retrieving everything he'd had taken from him when he arrived at the Barracks, William sighed as he began to move along with Lauren and Vera, remaining relatively silent as they walked along. He was still irritated about what William now recognized as a clear unspoken 'thing' between himself and Vera, and of her seeming insistence of loyalty to Peter regardless. The man just kept coming up in William's mind, and it was enough to make him grind his teeth and clench his fists as he moved along, trying to keep his desire to punch the man in his royal mouth to himself.

He was so lost in his thoughts that he hardly noticed Vera's own seeming frustration, nor did he really notice her slip up, and he even found himself surprised at how quickly they were back at the museum, considering he had been so lost in his jealousy. Sighing, he moved inside with the two ladies, gathering his composure somewhat as the Curator came over, giving the man a nod before he looked over to Vera, hearing her speak up as he raised an eyebrow. He had figured it was obvious that he had been to the barracks to look for her, but only then did it occur to him that he had not actually made that clear. "Of course, you think I wander to the barracks on a regular basis?" He shrugged.
Working on a post now.
Liam Matthews

Location: Salem Train Station
Interacting With: Detective Hanson, Agent Carbry @Morose

Sighing, Liam remained antsy as he watched Keenan, hoping that the agent would actually believe him. Luckily, the brunette chose to make herself suspicious enough that he was let off the hook. Moving to the pile of his clothes, Liam quickly moved to dress himself and recollect all his things, reaching down to his pocket when he felt what was missing. Glancing around, he quickly noticed that the two girls he'd been watching before, the ones who'd made him strip naked in the first place, were gone. "Motherfucker..." For a moment, he figured he probably should have stayed to try and help Keenan and Hanson catch the brunette, after all, he'd been given the vision about her, not the girls, but then again, it was his bike.

Sprinting back out toward the entrance of the train station, Liam panted as he tried to get out as quickly as possible, the man hadn't run so fast in a long time, and as he got outside he could see the two girls in the parking lot, both of them on his bike. He sprinted straight for them, it occurred to him at that point that running out immediately after being let off the hook was also probably suspicious, and not a good idea. But again, it was his bike. "Hey! That's my fucking bike!" He screamed, as if it was going to stop either of the girls from taking off with it as he ran toward them.
I'll be aiming to get a post up soon, and boy oh boy am I gonna take advantage of some time fuckery.

Edit: I went a little out on a limb with my post so feel free to let me know if it needs an edit - I took Liam being let off the hook to assume he'd be let out of the train station, if that's not the case just lemme know. ^^
@HushedWhispers

I'd be happy to, admittedly I'm about to head to bed (it's 2AM here) but if you send pm me the start I'll try and get you a little bit before I head to bed, and more in the morning. ^^
Harry Walsh

Location: Qasr El Nil Barracks

Taking her hand, Harry followed along behind her, back into the hallways and toward the rooms where they had stayed the night before. He halted momentarily as they reached her room, proper etiquette pushing him to question if she was sure, but he stopped himself from asking. He knew that Aziza didn't seem to care, and thinking about it, he had no real reason to either - perhaps all the etiquette of the Lord-Major and the ladies and lords he'd been around was rubbing off on him. Moving into her room, he took a seat beside her, keeping his eyes on her as she began to speak.

He was somewhat taken aback by her story, Harry had not expected so much from her, nor had he expected a story such as that. In a way, he was pleased that she trusted him enough to share it all with him, it was refreshing in a way to understand just how highly she now seemed to regard him. When she did finish her story, he was silent for a few moments, unsure how to react initially as he cleared his throat, realizing soon enough that the silence had perhaps gone a little too long to not be awkward. Reaching forward when he gathered his thoughts finally, Harry gently set his hand atop hers, lacing his fingers with her as he gave it a gentle and reassuring squeeze, eyes locked on hers as he spoke in a low voice.

"Whatever he might try, or whatever he might do - I want you to know that I am going to protect you. Your husband is never going to lay a finger on you, and no one else is going to harm you as long as I can do something about it - I swear." There was an immense meaning behind his words. He considered that he did not really know why he was so intent on making such an oath, he still did not know Aziza too well, but he knew she had become his closest friend in even such a short time, he felt warm around her, comfortable, and he would be damned if anyone took that - took her - from him.

William Drake

Location: Qasr El Nil Barracks - Gate

William sighed as he waited by the gate for Lauren and Vera, arms crossed over his chest. He regularly reconsidered going back to the museum with them, and almost immediately insisted he would escort Vera again, ignoring the nagging concern that he had about letting her out of his sight. It was aggravating for him, no woman had ever had this kind of impact on William, let alone one that was so 'proper', annoying and clearly thought so much higher of herself than she did of him. Of course, she was gorgeous, her clumsiness adorable and endearing, and her intelligence far more of a draw than he had expected, but why did he really care so much?

When he did see Lauren and Vera come out toward the front gate, he appreciated that Peter was not with him. He felt strange being around Vera, his heart generally began pounding, he couldn't see straight, but when he saw her with Peter, his blood boiled. He barely new Peter, and yet, just his relation with Vera had essentially created a deep loathing for the man in William's eyes, one that he doubted would go away. He half expected Peter would challenge him to a duel for Vera's hands, the man was so proper. So infuriatingly proper. Sighing, he shook the thoughts of Peter from his mind to see Vera getting closer, clearing his throat. "Alright, let's go." He sighed, turning to walk along with her, not saying much else as he let the awkwardness build.
