Wilhelm Vryeson
Appearance:
While Wilhelm is usually covered head to toe in his garments, partially out of fear of infection and partially out of habit, underneath he is as pale as one would expect from a man who spends all his time completely hidden from the sun's rays, he is skinny an stands at about 6'1 and seems to have some scarring on his face from boils.

Personality: Wilhelm is a curious individual with a great passion for his interests, which happen to include disease,death and animals. While the work such interests would entail would cause many others to retch, Wilhelm couldn't think of a better way to spend his day than with his arms fiddling around in a horse carcass or examining the corpse of a plague victim and observing how the plague affects the remains. While he is neither ethical or moral he still considers himself a god-fearing man and believes his god-given purpose in life is to find a cure for the Black Death regardless of the costs. This can lead him to be fanatical at times but may still occasionally show his faith if it does not interfere with his work, although he would never admit it his fascination with the natural world both living and dead trumps his faith in God.
Background: Born in 1327 to a small city family, Wilhelm had a rather typical childhood of praying,working at an early age and scrounging up animal corpses to mess with until his parents removed the corpses in disgust. When the Black Death gripped London in 1347 he eagerly took on the role of doctor and began examining the plague and attempting to cure it. Naturally he had trouble and spent many frustrating years watching his patients, he began turning to more drastic measures, cutting into living patients and observing the plague's effect on their still living bodies. Until they died several moments later of course due to the often clumsy incisions, he improved over the years. Eventually his frustration got the better of him and during a particularly brutal...check-up, he found himself infected with the plague himself before fading into a deep sleep. Then he awoke.

Unique Class: Plague Doctor- Plague based spells and abilities that wilt enemies away with some minor abilities to increase resistance or heal.
Abilities:
- Plague bolt- a bolt of pestilence infused magic that does 3+INT damage and a chance to infect the target with the pestilence, dealing damage every turn until they resist it (willing to discuss how this works with GM although I imagine it will be a pretty over-arching theme)
- Vermin swarm-summons forth a swarm of plague infected rats to swarm the target,dealing 4+INT damage to the target, the rats will remain and harass the target until they are dispersed either by killing them or scaring them off with a bright light or a loud noise dealing 1 damage if the target fails to avoid them (again willing to discuss the DOT mechanics if they're a problem how I've implemented them)
- Imbalanced humors- sends forth a puff of miasma, potentially causing the target to pause while they throw up at the disgusting smell and the plague attempting to enter their body, chance the target is afflicted with the pestilence and takes damage until they resist it.
- Vaccination- Injects the target (or himself) with a weak dose of magical pestilence, causing a short period of illness before becoming more resistant to disease damage and having a slight increase to health for a few hours.
- Memento Ability-Balance the humors- A sweet smelling scent radiates from the censer, numbing the pain of those who can smell it and making them slightly giddy, it also temporarily slows the effects of any diseases those affected may be suffering from.
