It can be used to block most incoming attacks, bind or drown opponents, and shape the water into various attacks, allowing the user in conjunction with the Summoning Technique to allow water-based summonings to fight in areas that it normally need water to move around by either trapping the target in the same water or maneuvering the water to allow the summon to chase the target.

Description: The Water Clone Technique is similar to the Shadow Clone Technique except it creates clones that are made out of water. Also, unlike shadow clones, water clones hold only one-tenth of the original person's power. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control. Like other clone techniques, if the water clones are injured enough they will revert back to normal water.

Description: This technique is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This technique requires a sufficient amount of water, which can be provided by expelling it from one's mouth. Once trapped the target is unable to move or breathe while within it due to the heaviness of the water. Because of the density of the water it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. It can also be stored in scrolls as traps. Water clones can be used in preparation for the technique, which block an opponent's attack and trap the attacker in the prison using the clone's own water.

Description: Dragon turtles are powerful water affiliated warriors that are heavily associated with the village of Takigakure. They are said to be the once powerful guardians of the Hero's Water before entrusting it to Takigakure and taking their leave to the seas. Now contracted with Sora, they fight for him when he calls though sometimes hesitantly. They are extremely powerful in terms of brute force, and can use relatively advanced water-based ninjutsu, ranging from water bullets to downright torrential upheavals. The smaller and younger Dragon turtles are also surprisingly agile and are a true force to reckon with in water. While the oldest and largest can be seen as siege tanks almost, with their 'impenetrable' defense and ability to unleash devastating onslaughts.
Weakness: The Dragon turtles don't completely respect him yet, thus the larger and more powerful ones require that they be summoned in large amounts of water, though he can override this cost should he be under the effects of hero water. They are nearly twice as powerful in water compared to being on land.
