Agreed. If water is their only weakness, then that is kind of overpowered... Especially if they can fly, because then they can avoid any water thrown at them.
Well me and Schadinger seem to have come to the consensus that it would slow your guys motor functions. And that he is much more susceptible to stabs.

Its neither of our decisions though. Thats up to you two.
Alright, I've waited a day. I'm going to make your life a little easier by taking control of Wire's situation for a bit. I'll make sure it doesn't conflict with anything else, and then he can get lumped in with the rest of them :D

Well, her power is sound projection/ability to impersonate anyone. Is that okay? Should I nerf? Add to it?

That sounds like a pretty cool power.. Why not make it so that they can manipulate sound waves, to a degree? So they could soften people's steps or impersonate people, or make sounds really rather ridiculously loud to the point it damages people's eardrums.. And to do that, they would have really good ears themselves, because they would be able to distinguish specific sounds with ease, and then copy them exactly, or oppositely, to boost or negate them. They could have been a roadie before the awakening!

And then of course, you have the ultrasonic scream which can drive people to their knees in anguish. And no one has any defence against that sort of attack :D

Like it? Don't like it? Inspire better ideas?

Argh. Still trying to figure my character out.

What are you stuck on? I love talking about this sort of thing :D
Holy crap, that is badass! I should do my damn research before I start spouting nonsense, and I apologise if I've inadvertently offended anyone! I just like discussing things like this :D

And I still think that he'd be weak to stabbing, and less so if the muscles are contracted. And for arguments sake, I still think that the net should at the very least slow him down as opposed to outright paralysis: it doesn't fully work with this guy's nervous system. but seeing as it's details weren't really in the CS, you can't have it have no effect.. So I still say a slowing would be best :|
Holy crap, Joe Black is the best kind of asshat.
I'd be happy to have Wire, when he gets recruited in the next few posts, to act undercover. He's already working with some seedy people to pay the bills, which also gives him something of a reputation. I don't mind what I end up doing though; I just like thinking through what he'd do in different situation :)
Ah, my bad. Guess you know more about these things than me!
So they can be made to contract with an electric current?
Alright been reading up, and as cool as carbon nanofibres are, they aren't stretchy. That would mean that they are a rather bad choice for muscle structure if they are used alone. If anything that would mean that at each joint it would have something reeling in the fibres, and that would get them to move. Also carbon nanofibres are incredibly conductive, which would mean that these joints would have to be insulated if they were going to receive electrical signals without sending them throughout his entire body.

Now seeing as the details of how it moves by generating the signals in the joint that needs it have only come to light after his paralysis net has been deployed.. I think that it would only be fair if you let it take some effect. As I've said, it won't have the same signals as a nervous system because it is essentially a robot body. So, you could still say that it would only add resistance to how much power can be put into the motors reeling in the nanofibres to make the muscles move.

And although I will admit that nanofibres are freaking strong and would be almost immune to slashes.. they would be weak to stabs. With enough force, the blade would slide off of the fibres and go through the gaps.

If you don't agree with anything I've said.. fair enough. Just giving my views.
