Bio

Heyo! So I'm R31GN, a nickname I picked up when a director fucked up the pronunciation of my name big-time, in cringelord L337 speak so I can use it as a username wherever I go. I originally started RPing on the PlanetMinecraft Forums because... I was a cringey weeb piece of shit? Stopped that after a dickload of drama (Fuck you, BlackFTW/SilentAero. You're a prick.), started RPing again here awhile ago, but stopped for some reason that honestly escapes me. Came back here again just recently to improve my writing skills in my free time.

As such, I exclusively deal in Advanced nowadays, though I might be tempted into High-Casual. I'm into about any homegrown setting, but those taking place in an existing universe (Star Wars, Warcraft, Warhammer 4K, etc.) are a turn off for me. Not to say I'm instantly opposed, I'm just far more likely to be critical.

I am an avid stalker of Polyphemus ever since my last account here, mostly because we shar(ed?) a lot of common interest and ended up being in quite a few RP's together. Also he's a sexy hunk of man meat, mmm mmm.

I dig gritty shit, I dig superheroes, and I dig fantasy shit.

I have an irrational hatred of all things anime/mango/whatever. Not jokingly.

I don't do 1X1 shit, not since the Dark Island incident tm.

I sexually identify as Tucker from Red vs Blue, my pronouns are Bow/Chicka/Wowwowself

Did you mean to put the OoC in the interest check section?
My CS is finished. I think I got everything in order?

Alright, @Hillbilly12, looks good. Doesn't look like anythings missing. Feel free to drop it into the Characters section as soon as you figure out your equipment.
Absolutely. In the nation of Sisiex, because the military holds so much power, they're just corrupt enough to look the other way for a good enough bribe. Post alien apocalypse, people aren't terribly moral, so a lot of various crime (be it murder, thievery, snuggling, or ... Other things) take place under the nose of soldiers too busy kicking puppies to care.
The Martyr most certainly has subordinate officers posted around Sisiex to widen his reach. It would be absolutely plausible for you guys to play some of the higher ups within the rebellion. Be it a general commanding a large area, or simply a captain of a small squad, feel free.
Thanks for the excitement!
Riggs

Riggs listened intently to the Captains plan, though his expression was one of casual indifference. Glee crept into his eyes as the Captain revealed the details of her using the pilot's security card. A light chuckle tumbled from his slightly ajar mouth, the scheme bringing a glint of happiness to the Corvidaen's eye. This was always the fun part, the betrayal and schemes within schemes. Though in the moment it was enjoyable, he worried for the long term affects of this tension. Hell, he had toppled entire governmental systems with less. He would happily anticipate the later results, and hope to prepare accordingly.

He smiled as the Captain gave him his assignment, pairing him with Ven. Ven being one of the more tolerable Pickers, he was happy for the pairing even if the bandaged alien didn't agree with the sentiment. Information brokering was certainly one of the services offered on Nomad with which he was very familiar. Many of the local dealers considered Riggs a regular, which could either spell disaster for the plan or be a major benefit. Riggs made a mental checklist of the information dealers with whom he most certainly did not want to speak with while under the false guise of a mutiny.

A bemused expression fell over Riggs' face as Ven began a rather petty barrage of passive aggressive comments. Waiting patiently for the alien to finish, Riggs stood and followed him. "These... accusations!" Riggs said in a mock-indignant voice, raising one hand to his chest as if hurt. "You sting me deep to my core, friend. I don't know what I shall do!" He said, voice heavy with sarcasm. Though the tone was mocking, he did not actually deny any of the claims, even making a point to walk past him and wait just outside the door to the commons. He had no particular interest in either roughing up the Captain or watching it happen.

"I was merely going to suggest some associates of mine who could be beneficial in our search for information." He said, eyes lowered in his best imitation of humbleness. "But I suppose if you feel so strongly, I'll swallow my hubris and allow you to take the lead my friend. I am your humble tool to guide, please enlighten me as to your expertise in this field my friend." Riggs said, not even attempting to mask the condescension in his voice.
Ah, a fellow Borderlands fan. Welcome to the party, even if there's technically not room for you in the party (I don't think, at least. I aint' the GM)
Today is going to be pretty busy for me, so it might be awhile before I can get anything up, sorry.
I was under the impression that Squirrel Girl's power was talking to squirrels, but then again...
@Hillbilly12
While technology has advanced greatly in terms of mass production, civilian life is far from improved. While the living conditions overall are far better than anywhere else in the world, civilians have very limited access to technology, even things that would be considered basic for 21st century people. Resources are far more focused on military might, leaving civvies in a state of low technology and bad conditions -think late 1800's Britain, under harsh martial law, and more pissing in the streets.
