@Matt: I'm not taking sides on this debate one way or another because I simply don't care, but you can't use something like X-Men vs Punisher to ever prove a point. That particular circumstance is called situational writing. The writer(s) had Punisher win for no better reason than it's entertaining. Realistically, Castle would have died, or at least been subdued. It's no different than all the people who say Batman would defeat Supes in a fight; realistically Clark could easily fly up to the outer atmosphere and vape Bats with his heat vision. Just because you use an example from situational writing does not mean said example is an accurate portrayal of how events might occur.
