Bio

I'm horrible with bios cause I always put too much or not enough. Wheeeeelllpp, here goes nothing.

I am Ragnarokkr, or Ragna, I'm a twenty something adult human spawn who is a weird mash of a 1990's raver and some sort of fancy man. I like to think I'm funny but my humor is... unique to say the least.

What is up kool kats?
Ragna knew instantly that as soon as he said something about the prophecy it was the wrong thing to say as Lydia was right their. 'She is gonna kill me later for this.' He contented himself, knowing that the lie was necessary. Well not necessary but needed as he can't bring himself to tell her exactly what it entails. With a sigh he slumped against the magic that held him in place. This human mage would probably tell her all about the prophecy and her potential role to play in it. Several dark thoughts plagued his mind as he suddenly realized what the Demon king wanted with her. When that time came he would be torn between two Oaths. A fate that could be deemed worse then death as the conflicting powers could quite possibly rend the flesh from his bones.

When Lydia began to stalk forward, like a predator chasing it's prey, Ragna cringed slightly and garbled out a few words under his breath. Hearing her defend him almost made him cry. Instead he sent a silent thanks to his mother for his human side and his ability to feel these emotions.

The leader magi seemed unimpressed as she Lydia tried to scare him. The other magi started to mumble to each other at the mention that Ragna was her lover. However the Leader once again silenced them with his hand. " Please, Prophet, If you seek to scare us you should stop now. All halflings are an impurity and must be culled if the balance of the world is to be maintained...But if we do that the future is destroyed." The man sighed. " It is not what we want from you, it is what the world wants from you. And if you give it to the world, then all is lost... Anyway I guess I shall treat him with the up most allowance of my patience as long as he doesn't try something like that again. Also..." He waved his hand and tendrils wrapped around the 7 of them, moving them to a more brightly lit estate on the outskirts of Termina. " Welcome to my home The estate of Lord Terminus himself and home of the proud city of Termina's greatest mages. I will apologize for my methods. It has been a long time since I've had to deal with such dangerous magics. May I get you anything, twilight prophet?"
Cyrus let out a low scoff, his lips turnt down in a frown. " No. Winning is neither causalities nor land conquered. It is when the Betrayer's head is spiked on the gate to the capital, and all his armies are laid dead on the fields of battle. " His chains gently wafted across the air over to Jo before he continued. " A wall? There was an king who tried something of that sort. Sent millions of subjects to their deaths to toil in the barren fields with stone and iron. I believe after 20 years of this the people revolted and the king was killed thus allowing the current line of kings to take reign. So even though we hold magic, only a few of us do. It isn't like every person in this land has the capabilities to use the land around us yet even now with more magic users then before we can't spare any as we are currently in war and need every able bodied soldier."

"Very few Northmen can fly. For us it seems our ability to use magic comes from what sort of 'mana' we are most subjected to while inside our mothers. Most Northern barbarians can use water magic's amazingly well and a few can use earth."

Cyrus stood up and moved the chains to wrap around him as he walked over to Jo. " If the public knew that we lose twice as many soldiers as the enemy they would be in an uproar. Fathers without wives, mothers without children, All for what? A pointless quest for power. M'lord brought a golden age to this land and this damned cur of flesh seeks to destroy it all for a little bit of power. But no. If the people knew...They would probably just give the land to that damned bastard child..." His voice rose slightly in the middle and when he caught himself he muttered. "Ah...I'm sorry. I've lived my entire life slaughtering and training. I should rejoice at this war, but all I feel is contempt."

"And if you do not wish to spend the money, I would buy these magazines for you. I have more then enough coin to prove that whatever you deem beautiful is not the same as what I deem. But alas that is a subject for another time as I can see broaching it with you further will anger you." He smiled slightly allowing his magic to escape from his body slowly. " Yes. Not the sort of...devices, you called them?...Rather mana. Your world is overflowing with it. Ours has mana in it but it is more of a flowing stream rather then a raging torrent." His gaze moved across Jo and settled on the table they were both around as she took a seat. " I...I wouldn't call them untrustworthy. I just shudder to imagine your world's power in their hands. Here they can cause whirling winds that can tear a city stone by stone. Cause the earth to gape open, swallowing massive tracks of land. They can force the earth to give up it's blood. Sadly for such power they are immobile, forever locked away in their central tower in the capital and even their magical range is limited." He stopped for a brief moment breathing in and out slowly before continuing. " If they get their hands on this book. I fear one of them sending their magic through to completely annihilate whatever is on the other side. So imagine the Wind seer sending his gale of wind through the book. It would probably amplify and rip your sky cities out of the sky..."

Cyrus was taken aback, to say the least, as Jo shot off question after question much like he did over in her world. So when she was finally done and fidgeting in her seat like a newborn babe eager for food he began slowly. " When I said fields that can not grow anything I mean fields for food. If we are going to lose farming land that we reclaimed we will sow the field with salt making it unable to support growth. We have plenty of forests though, so wood is of no object." He glanced around at the tent before pulling a piece of tent, used for patching, that was on the table and handed it to her. " The tent is silk. It is farmed by the southern empires and traded to us for food and other goods. It makes great clothing but it is farmed from worms they aptly call silkworms." He glanced over his shoulder at the quill before digging around his pockets and pulling out the one he took from the dukes keep. " You can have this as well. Yes. It is a real quill. We get them by plucking the birds. I know the king's scribe uses one from a very beautiful bird from across the ocean that has colorful feathers. Also yes...We hunt birds just as we hunt deer and slaughter cow's. There is more then enough in this world."

He paused and thought about the last few questions of hers. " I truly have never given it a thought. Clouds mean rain and rain means my powers are pretty useless in large scale battle. But water mages love the rain. They can make the water freeze to the soldiers of the enemy, encasing them in an icy prison. It is truly fascinating to see. As for snow, why would you eat it? It is cold and being anywhere where there is snow means brazenly cold wind's and torturous storms."

Cyrus chuckled as she asked if the hills actually moved. " No, Jo, They do not actually move. I did mean as far as the eye can see. In fact my travels will take me to the Plains of Goliath which are famed for it's emerald green fields. So if I am there and you are able, you can come through see them yourself." With a sigh he sat down cringing slightly as the chain creaked. Either from his weight or the age of them Cyrus wouldn't know. " Also I move my chains by encasing them in a flame that is still a flame, but not hot enough to turn them into molten metal right away. However eventually they will melt so I can't use these indefinitely which is a shame."

Ragna had also noticed the magic that was at work around them, stopping just as Lydia said that something was wrong. The magic surged and coursed all around them causing quite visible ripples in the air. While Lydia slipped her tunic over her head, Ragna noted the fact that the magic seemed to form a bubble around them. He began to wonder if it was some sort of powerful magic prison. As if to answer his question, Lydia grabbed his hand and made a move to get out of the room. This was cut short as she seemingly hit a wall. " I don't think we are going anywhere right now." He wrapped his arm around Lydia's shoulder and pulled her close.

"Don't worry. Everything will be al-" His voice just disappeared. He could see Lydia and he felt her tunic against his bare chest but his words seemed to dissipate as soon as they left his mouth. Then everything went white. A searing light blinded both of them, but that wasn't all that happened. To Ragna, he saw faint flickers of chains coming from the very prison they were in. They glided gently against the lover's flesh, wrapping them up in a gentle, ghostly embrace that sapped the warmth from their bodies. Then the circle below them appeared. An intricate design that was virtually overflowing with powerful magic that he had never seen before, not even from one of the old ones. Then everything faded away as the chains drug them through the circle bringing them to that lonely set of catacombs where Ragna kept his arm protectively wrapped around Lydia.

The five magus had put their hoods back up and whispered among themselves. One pointed to Ragna and he heard the figure say. " She has lain with a demon of impure blood? Does this change everything? Did 'He' mess up?"

The leader of the group rose his hands effectively silencing the other four. " Now, Bearer of the Twilight Prophecy. I am sure you are confused by what has transpired here. But we mean you no harm, Yet, We only seek for answers and if we deem you a threat to the world as was foretold, we will effectively end you." The humans voice was calm yet dripped with malicious intent. Ragna bristled at the man's words. He quickly covered the ground between him and the cloaked figure only to be stopped with his fist a few inches away from the mans hooded face. " Now now, Even if the Twilight Prophet is an impure being, that doesn't mean other impurities won't be culled if they step out of line." Ragna spit at the man before growling. " I will not allow you to threaten the Prophet. If something is meant to happen then it shall happen. I know not what magic you have worked here, but return us to my manor at once."

The man dropped his hood to wipe away the spit. It revealed a face that was heavily scarred with a simple black leather eyepatch covering one eye. His long silver hair dropped down past his shoulders and was hidden away by the cloak. " We seek to stop what will happen for the sake of the future, and I don't think you understand the gravity of your situation. You are here until we deem you worthy to leave and if we don't see the worth in your living we will end your life. Plain and simple. Now shoo." He waved his hand which sent Ragna flying back to the center of the circle.

"Twilight Prophet. Sorry you had to see that. Perhaps we can move to a more comfortable setting if you promise to keep your...pet... in line?"
Cyrus let out a chuckle as she said she could chew the air down on the land. " Well if it makes you feel any better I felt like I needed to have some sort of device to put the air in my lungs. So let us just say we are now equal in our discomfort. " He managed a light smile despite the overwhelming urge to ask some more serious questions about her world. Mostly along the lines of defenses and ability to stave off attacks. Putting his urge to return to that magic filled world he turned his attention back to Jo.

This is indeed a tacticians' map. As I mentioned we are at war with the 'Betrayer'. This isn't something you would understand. But as it is, we are winning the battle. Though the northern savages are raiding our northern lands and with the winter winds approaching it is dire news. " He sighed and leaned back in his chain, allowing his flames to take the chains wrapped around his wrist and dance about. " I personally believe that the truth should be spoken, no matter how vile and how disturbing. If we hide our humanity behind a darkened silhouette the world shall forever fall into despair. Yes we are vile creatures, yes we have done horrible things, and we will surely burn in the fires of whatever the afterlife holds. But from our sins the public will know relative peace."

His chains floated over the table and settled down on the northern border of the kingdom where the barbarians where attacking farming villages for their own food. With a flick of his wrist he sent the flaming chain across the border, leaving a scorch mark. " You are lovely. In fact you could probably rival royalty in looks. But that is not the point... Yes but shortly from now I will be departing on my own or with a small escort to track down this book in the name of my king. And I will continue to 'search' for it until I know the plans for it. There is far too much power in your world to just let the seer's have access to it."

"Worry not, Jo, I said I wouldn't recommend you leaving, if someone enters this tent they are under the penalty of death. So if something happens I will makes sure you have enough cover to leave in no time at all. " He smiled at her before continuing. " If you need something to do, ask any questions you hold and I shall answer them to the best of my ability until I can take you out."
Cyrus planted the odd metal book on the warroom table that was scattered with various wooden pieces representing several enemy armies that his had to annihilate in the name his his king. His eyes swept across the map of the land that the pieces were on and noted several more x's striking key positions in the great betrayer's armies across the fronts. " So they actually took that city..." He let out a soft chuckle before opening the book and gazing down at it's mostly blank pages. "...I guess I should give him that battle that he wants when I see him next." He smiled at the thought and quickly wiped it away when his general came into the tent and looked at the table.

The general was a stoic man. One who didn't really belong in the company that Cyrus commanded, but none the less you can't have a pack of wild dogs running rabid without a dog catcher. Even though Cyrus was in command, the General was the student of one of the great seers. The man had more power then Cyrus and the next three officers in the company. " I heard your objective was sent away by the Duke? The King and Seers won't be happy with that news." The general, Abe, said in his normal monotone voice that was seeping with anger and distrust just below the surface.

Cyrus merely shurgged before picking up the book that was supposedly missing. " I figure the army will be commanded by you. I'll go by myself and track the book down." He glanced up at Abe with a halfsmile before adding. " For my king... Though, Abe, have you ever wondered what power could be in the book that the seers are actively sending their apprentices out to find it? Could it be the long lost Demon magic, or perhaps it is something more, Maybe a portal into a new land?... " He noticed Abe's face tense up at the mention to the portal and decided that this seer's boy knew more then he let on. " Nah. Nevermind me. I'm just rambling. Anyway. I give the army to you. Now leave. I need to sleep." He waved off Abe before he could speak anymore.

Abe left without a word, but merely cast a glance over his shoulder at Cyrus.

With a sigh, Cyrus slumped down into one of the uncomfortable seats that circled the table and peered at the pages to see what Jo had written. He smiled and set the book down and slipped off to the side of it just as her hand pushed through, then her head. She struggled for a few seconds and Cyrus was going to help her, but suddenly she started to push through easily. When her entire body was through he noted the boots that spouted something odd that allowed her float/fly.

Instantly an idea formed in his mind. A dangerous one but if successful would make him even more known then he currently was. He was about to drift into deep thought when Jo's voice broke his train of thought. He almost snapped at her but stopped when he looked at her. " Ah... No worries, miss Jo. It is a tent made to be brought into battle. There have been quite a few assassination attempts to happen in here. And the air is normal here. This is what the air down on your planet's surface would feel like, If I had to guess that is." He stopped talking when she seemed to be distracted at the sound of the men outside moving around and packing up.

" I personally would not recommend going outside of this tent at this time as you are in the middle of a camp full of violent soldiers who haven't had a decent lay with a girl in about....8 moon cycles now. That and the fact that I'm the company commander and I'd rather not have to explain why a lovely lady is leaving my tent at this time." He smiled. " Though if you wait about 20 minutes, I'm sure I could sneak you out of the camp and show you some of this world, If that would please you."
When her low whisper fell to his ears he wanted to argue. Nothing could come before her. He wanted to say that but rather bit his tongue and let his personal opinions lay. Her kiss spoke volumes about what she wanted. Her entire body wanted a reassurance that only he could give her at this time and he definitely wanted to give her that protection. His own body wishing for the same thing but not just yet. After the kiss Lydia rested her head against his chest. He felt her nod her head in acknowledgement as he fumed about what he would do to the sorry wretch that tried to touch her. A fire in his heart burned as the past events unfolded before him. All his anger at his father for what he did to his mother. His brothers and sisters and their constant berating and torturing of him. Even his first encounter with Jezebel. Each painful memory and each fleeting emotion of rage and dissent boiled with in him. He would take his time with this cur. He would put off his departure to personally make sure the little demon servant begged to be allowed to die.

It wouldn't be the first time he has had to punish his servants for disobeying him. Though before this time it had always been over something petty like one of his servants stealing food meant for his guests or the like. Even if he punished them, he liked to consider himself decent compared to some other demon lords or their sons and daughters. Some of them have the servants torture themselves for their amusement. The thought brought him back to a memory when he was taken by his father to visit one of the Demon kings adviser's. There the advisers daughter took a liking to him and they got along rather well, at least until she had him in her room. Then she had a servant come in and start to flay his own skin. She laughed and giggled like a child ripping off the wings of a butterfly. It was far from innocent but she knew what she was doing. That is just one example. Several other instances came to his mind.

He was lost in thought but when Lydia said 'thank you' it drew him out of his reverie of his past and made him focus on her once more. His emotions more stable now he locked his eyes with her and nodded silently at her request before leaning down and kissing her fiercely. He traced a finger up the small of her back as his other hand slipped under the tunic to cup her ass. " I think I liked you better in the towel though." He said with a smile as he withdrew from the kiss. " The door is locked and my fullest attention is on you."

Elsewhere in the manor, Ragna's obsidian knights tore through the building. Every building, every room, and every possible place to hide was over turned. Luckily any servant bound to Ragna wasn't allowed to leave the manor grounds unless given permission by him or someone he gave the power to. So it wasn't long that that servant with the bleeding face wound was found. He was trying to remain hidden in the horse stables until the wound had healed and had hoped that he had more time. Then twin gauntlets wrapped around his shoulders in a vice like grip and hauled him from the corner that he was resting in. " By order of Ragnarok, our master, you are to be detained in the dungeon and await our masters punishment for your sin of not only leaving your station of work as assigned, but by your disobedience of his orders. " The two knights spoke in unison with the same low, monotone voice. The servant tried to struggle free and instead of gaining any ground he felt a fist knock the wind from his stomach and possibly break a few bones. Falling limp he was taken from the stables to a part of the manor that hadn't seen use in quite a while.
