And I have off tomorrow so I'll definitely have something up for you. As a heads up: the rest of this week is pretty insane for me. I doubt we'll get a chance to be online at the same time. Also, I'll be getting ready to start my university classes up on the 25th. But, like I said, I'll always keep you aware on what's going on and the like, kay?

Appearance: It’s a joke between Othman, her husband, and Esra that she is the better looking of the two. One because it is not hard to look more attractive than her club-footed husband who also sports drooping eyes and poor teeth. Two because Esra isn't horribly attractive herself. She has too many freckles on her face and her bottom lip is too fat to be considered “pouty.” Her eyebrows are thick (almost identical to Othman’s) and her small nose is almost as wide as it is long. As a child, she couldn't wait to wear a hajib because of scar behind her left ear that left a large bald spot. Othman helps comb out her wiry, black hair at night. She’s got the type of body babies like to bury their faces into; soft and warm and fleshy. Othman says this is her most attractive feature (even more so than her green eyes).

Skill set: Familiar with poultices & tonics for aliments; in Rabat she assisted with the occasional surgery;

Notes: Although she is a healer, she primarily took care of women due to gender segregation as outlined in the Qur’an.

Ah. Sorry. Yes. you're good to continue with Maddie's explanation! I know weekends are busy for you, but I don't have work tomorrow so we could finish the collab then. Also, I don't work Monday either, so I'd be good.

So. Basically all our characters have to have one language they all speak for this to be believable for them to travel together. Should I assume the main link would be Portuguese? I'm creating a character now and would like to get some fundamentals down before I start building her up.

Wow. Okay. I wrote some. Probably more than what you'd be expecting for a collab post but I'm trying to really show how confused the characters are. As the conversation gets going it will probably dissolve into short one liner dialogues and the like.
