I can't say I've seen what you've seen... but I'm pretty sure I've seen far worse xD

Oh I don't have an issue with the image at all, I mean I've taken part in a full-furry cast roleplay so the level of furry doesn't bother me in the slightest. Others might feel a bit uneasy around a full-furry, but I think the image you found is a perfect compromise either way.

As for being at odds with humans, most definitely xD
There's a few things that would make humans be uncomfortable around certain beastkin.
- Unfamiliar (Creatures they don't come across often)
- Predator Species (Tigers, Sharks, etc)
- Level of Resemblance to humans.

Your character would tick all those boxes... so he'd probably be the least liked from the human perspective (at first glance). Fortunately a few would also be absolutely terrified of him, so it sort of balances out? Maybe? xD

I've done a bit of poking around as well, and can't seem to find anything.
... Well besides that one antagonist guy from early on in Naruto xD
I'll keep digging around, but I'm not even sure what I'm looking for xD
A guy with sharp teeth and a shark fin?

Worst case scenario I guess I could settle for a written description,
or if you're comfortable with a Level2 grade furry (see first page) I guess that could work too.
For the time being though I'll see what I can find.

I really like the personality traits you picked for him as they really portray an interesting character.

One thing that needs to be corrected.
-The school will be taking in it's first batch of beastkin students as the roleplay starts. So the part about her parents not letting Mila attend, and her doing it out of her own volition wouldn't work, as it'd mean she'd be set to join the roleplay several years after all the other characters.
Besides, that I like the character!
Don't mind the phone thing at all, it's a reference image, and doesn't have to be picture perfect down to the last hair strand :P

While I'd appreciate variety, I probably won't be limiting it to one type per character.
If people want to play two different foxes from two different towns (or the same one if they're willing to collaborate), that's perfectly fine. I just done want 5 cats and 4 dogs... or something akin to that.

Well that's character 1/5, seeing as how BlackPanther's putting stuff together up there we've got two.
Hopefully our jelly princess will lure in a few more~
I'll probably make a beastkin character or two as well, but they'll be placed in supporting roles, opposed to me having a character amongst the main cast.
