Leo grabbed the stranger by the collar and slammed him to the ground, holding his blade over his throat. He picked up Seralth and let her fly back to the tent. "Crim! We have a visitor!" he called, not taking his eyes from the stranger.
Leo and Crim had returned to camp after a successful hunt. Leo, however, felt filthy so he decided to take a bath in the creek. He had just finished when he heard the familiar growls of Seralth, the sound she made when fighting. Not even bothering to put on his tunic, Leo ran back to camp, the cool air stinging his bare chest. He showed up in time to see a blonde stranger heading away from him. Leo ran to his gear bundle and drew Ritterstihl before running after the thief, using his elven agility and jumping on a tree trunk, pushing himself off, hitting the ground and rolling to his feet in front of the stranger. He lifted his blade, the runes glowing bright red-orange. "Going somewhere?" he asked.
"Not really. Do you have anywhere in mind Rom?" Aelystair asked. He didnt wish for the conversation to end seeing as how he was always the adviser and never the advised.
"Close your eyes." Leo whispered.
"Do you know how long it'll take us to track a herd?" he asked playfully.
Leo nodded and smiled, "Maybe i'll come with you?" he said, grabbing his own bow and quiver and walking beside Crim.
Leo hugged Crim and kissed the top of her head, "No they arent up yet, but maybe the smell of food will coerce them otherwise?" he said with a raised eyebrow and a smile.
"Uriah is determined to fight a war on two fronts with just our current forces and hoarding his treasury. We're making no progress in Valenwood, the Khajiit are close to pulling out and closing off their borders. The Dominion is good at fighting on multiple fronts though, unluckily for us. On the bright side, the Militant is struggling just as bad as us. How are things in Skingrad?" Aelystair rested his hand on the hilt of his sword, gazed down the road and then looked at Romulus.
"Olfryn earned himself a week in the pits." Aelystair hailed a guardsman and told him to take Romulus' post. "Come on then, you can walk with me." He gestured out of the gates.
"Hey Rom. I'm just going for a ride. Shouldnt you have been relieved an hour ago?" Aelystair shielded his eyes from the sun as he looked up to see the Imperial, reclining on the walls. Its not like guard duty had much value in the capital of the Peoples Government of Cyrodiil, no one was stupid enough to attack.
