Ashley laughed at how relieved Charlotte was to get rid of the glow sticks. She could not blame her. She tossed hers in the recycling bin and walked over with the other girl until they got close to the door. Charlotte called over another person. Curiously, Ashley gazed at her. She seemed really bubbly and at place in the club.

“Aw, Charles, you made a friend!”

She blushed at how loud the girl exclaimed. Quite a few people looked over at them and some of them even snickered. Ashley held her arms over her stomach very tightly, something she did when she was feeling a little self conscious.

“What's your name? How old--”

She heard he unasked question. But she felt so relieved when Charlotte took over her introduction.

“Will, this is Ashley, she's nineteen and her fashion choices are none of our business – I'm really sorry about that, by the way,”

“It's fine...” She frowned slightly, subconsciously taking off her pink headband and putting it inside her purse. Then she kind of held her purse behind her back, out of sight. What was wrong with her fashion? She knew she dressed a little girly, but it had been forced on her for as long as she could remember. She also could not help that she liked cute things. The Fluttershy purse, the pink...

“Ashley, this is Willow, my best friend. She's part rabbit, I think.”

“Hi. Part rabbit?” She raised an eyebrow.

“It's very nice to meet you, Ashley.”

“It is nice to meet you as well...” Before she could say anything more, Willow continued. The girl really did seem to talk a mile a minute. Ashley could not keep up.

“Charlotte, you know I love you, so I'm gonna wait for you back in the bar. Come get me when you're done!”

She watched the girl run off and then looked back over at Charlotte. It felt like she was going to get whiplash.

“Wow, she's all over the place. Part rabbit, indeed.”

“I don't know why I'm friends with her. Traitor.”

“She seems to mean well,” Ashley said quietly. “You're lucky you have someone like that in your life.”

Ashley walked with Charlotte out the doors. She told Big Bob bye. They walked over to the Chinese place. The smell of food made her stomach rumble. She was embarrassed by how loud it sounded. It was no wonder because all she had that day were the smoothies.

The waitress got them a table. She smiled at them. “What to drink? One check or two?”

“U-uh,” Ashley stuttered. “Two. Sprite. Thank you.”

This wasn't a date. It was just two random strangers who happened to meet at a club going out to get something to eat.
Nixie tensed up when she heard someone come into the kitchen. When she heard the eerie sound of the crow, she knew for sure that it was Devon. She scrunched down as tightly as she could in the sink, but after what felt like forever, she could hear the sound of footsteps leaving. She felt proud of herself that he had came in and did not notice her. Though another part of her shuddered. Did that mean she would never be found because if Devon thought the kitchen was empty, he might not come back?

Oh no, what if I'm in here forever? What if they all leave thinking I decided to go home? As she started to panic, Nixie felt water from the sink dripping. She wiped the dirty water off her cheeks, but oddly felt more calm after the water touched her skin. It was really ironic, because she usually felt anything but calm when face with a situation where there was the chance she could drown, such as in a very deep sink. Which was preposterous. Nobody drowned in sinks, even big ones, except maybe poor babies who were neglected by their parents.

By now she was thinking very random things, which she often did. Nixie pulled her body up and peeked over the edge of the sink and could see Devon outside the kitchen door, trying to get inside another door with what looked like a knife. Why would he be doing that? If the door was locked, then nobody would be hiding behind it.

He's so strange... though I wonder what is behind that door. She sighed and set back down in the sink.
If anyone is interested in reading the novel that inspired the idea for this role play, here is the first chapter. (You'll see I borrowed a bit from the first chapter to make my first IC post.) This is a 17 chaptered story that I haven't been able to continue because lack of interest/feedback discouraged me. lol It will have M/M, F/F and perhaps M/F within it, but all romance is secondary to the zombie stuff.

Shameless plug, here's the rest
Olivia, Rena and Lloyd

The undead were mostly taken care of in the yard. Lloyd was quite impressed at how well the group of people handled things. He even witnessed the little redhead taking down a couple. The brunette whistled lowly as the ballet girl side kicked an undead and sent it flying at least five feet. It's head smashed into the side of the chicken coop and the undead did not get up and move after that.

Lloyd watched as the twins (he assumed they were twins) ran into his house. He shook his head at how fast they were taking things, knowing an ambush could be waiting on the other side of the door. He hoped his three inside dogs and three inside cats were still among the living. Before he had ran out of the house, he had tried rounding as many up as he could, locking them in one of the rooms.

"What's in your barn?" The redhead asked. She ran up to Lloyd's side. "I heard something when I was killing an undead over there." She pointed toward his six stalled wooden barn.

"Two horses and a cow," he quickly answered, ducking when an undead seemed to come out of nowhere. The little girl was quick with her broom stick handle. Lloyd stood up straight and blushed. "T-thanks. I should have picked up a weapon from the store."

"It's okay! Did you say horses? Really?" Her green eyes brightened at the idea of seeing something she considered really beautiful and made her think of home. "And a cow?"

"Yes. And chickens." He nodded toward the chicken coop. "I see they are still alive. I've also got dogs and cats inside, but..." He trailed off. He did not mention the dogs and cats that were strays around here. They very well could be infected.

"I forget if I've said so, but I'm Lloyd Mathews and this is my farm. Welcome to Mathew's Farm." He said this loud enough so that everyone nearby could hear him.

"I'm Olivia."
Rena walked over to the undead she had sent flying into the chicken coop. She looked down at it and shoved the tip of her shovel into his head just to be safe. She winced when the head split open like a rotten pumpkin. The sound of clucking got her attention. When she looked up, she felt a rush of wonderment go through her when she saw about 20 live chickens in the decent sized coop. She hadn't seen an alive animal for a while and even though they were chickens, she felt really happy.

"Hi, chicky," Rena said, with a suppressed giggle. She looked into their coop, frowning when she saw they were almost out of their feed. Poor things. Once they had the place secure, she made a promise to herself that she would get them some grains from the grainary she could see. Hopefully it was fully stocked. There was enough corn to go around at any rate.

Rubbing her goo covered pointe shoe into the grass, she kept a lookout for anymore undead, watching as the others did their part to get the yard clear. She ran over to the gate and closed it, making sure it was firmly locked in place. She wondered if there was any barbed wire that they could attach to the top of the fence for added protection. Farms sometimes had things like that laying around. Rena shrugged; she was not a farm girl, so she really had no idea.

"This area is clear," Rena told her companions. She ran to the side of the house and sighed when she saw no undead. "None on the left side. Hows the back and right side look?"

"Right side is clear," Olivia answered. She came from that side, goop and other gross things on her cheeks and the front of her shirt. Rena watched as she walked over to the fairly large pond that was on the property. The ballerina was concerned. What if there were undead just under the surface of the water? Or would they float? She shook her head and ran over to the redhead, before she ducked down to clean herself off.

"Wait," Rena said, pulling the girl back. She bent down and picked up a large rock and threw it into the middle of the pond. She counted a full minute. When nothing happened, she nodded at the girl. "Okay it's clear, but be careful. A lurker could still be in the water. We will need someone to properly check before we decide to use the pond for anything other than gathering water at the sides."

Olivia paled. "I never thought of that. Thanks." She ducked down and washed off her face and hands. There was nothing she could really do about her clothes, but she would change as soon as things were a little less hectic.

The redhead wondered away from Rena and looked around for Mercy. Where had she gone? She bit down on her bottom lip, hoping that nothing bad had happened to her. She really liked Mercy and felt safer when the girl was fighting by her side.
Remy

"Look," Remy whispered back toward Ash and Luka. They had made it to the other side of the cornfield. They made it in time to see a girl wearing ballet shoes closing the gate. Everyone was in the process of fighting the undead, though the yard seemed to be mostly clear. He approved. The small group of people seemed to work well together.

"Do you see Mercy?" He could not remember what she looked like, other than the bow she carried. He did spot the redhead darting around, looking as if she was also looking for someone.

He wanted to get their attention without startling them. None of them wanted a bullet or an arrow coming at their heads. The ballet girl was the closest to them. Remy glanced at his unlikely companions and then at the brunette girl who still seemed to be stuck in her past, what with her strange footwear. He snapped his fingers, watching as the girl stiffened and turned to stare toward the corn field.

"Hey," Rena half whispered. "There's more people." Rena ran over to the fence. "I closed and locked the gate. I don't know who has the key. You'll have to climb over." She gave the three a wary look. "Just do your part. I think the back of the house needs checked."

She ran off and joined Lloyd as he opened the double doors on the barn. He was weaponless, so he must be very confident that no undead were inside. Rena rolled her eyes. The sound of a horse neighing made her run even faster. First chickens and now horses? The ballerina could not believe her luck.

"Oh wow."

She and Lloyd went into the barn and checked on the animals inside. They were spooked, but otherwise seemed fine.

"The barn is clear," She said, after he and Lloyd left it. Lloyd shut it back up and looked around at the others.

The outhouses, grain towers and grainary were checked next. Clear. Clear. Clear. The well was also clean and clear of any bodies, thank goodness.

"Everything outside looks good. The fence is back in place, all that is left is the house." Rena glanced over at the house, wondering if the people who went inside were okay.

"Let's go." Rena squeezed her shovel firmly in her hands.

The only one I can do is Skype. RubyKitsuneAnd I do have a plot idea, but it needs some work.

All right. I added you and sent a message.
Post war is fine.

And it does not matter who I play. I've also played both.

Do you have any plot ideas? Something a few years after the war. Harry and Ginny have broke up (though Harry is still greatly connected to the Weasley family and remains friends with Ginny). Draco is living with his mother (or alone) because his father was put in Azkaban (so he no longer has his father's influence riding over him)

Do you want to talk over IM? Skype, MSN, YIM, AIM?
Nixie pushed her dyed light blue hair over her shoulder and went back to her room. She started to pace back and forth, trying to think of how she was going to pull this new transformation off and if her project partners had turned as well, how would they all handle this? One thing was sure; it seemed fate was pushing them closer together and in the end, they would be the best of friends, or something very horrible would happen.

Such as them getting discovered and put on some sort of lab table to be studied and dissected. She shuddered at the idea.

No, without a doubt, nobody will find out about this, she swore. Her face fell slightly. Though how can it be possible to keep it from everyone? This is a small island and everyone knows each other's business. Then there is my family and my best friend Jay. How can I keep something so big from them?

Walking over to her bed, she jumped on it and buried her face in her Pikachu shaped pillow. She felt tears on her cheeks, her whole body freezing. Would her tears also make her turn? She started to count silently in her head, but no transformation accrued.

“Phew, at least that's something,” Nixie whispered.

"Nixie! Nixie, I need help! Please, we need to talk! Nixie!"

Nixie had almost dozed off when Tristan’s voice floated through her open window, making her sit up and blink rapidly. She rubbed her eyes, wondering if everything from before had been a dream. She stood up and walked over to her window that overlooked the ocean.

“Oh my...” She whispered. Down far below her window was Tristan, hanging onto the rocks, trying not to let the rough lapping water pull her back out to sea.

“Tristan!”

Tristan was a mermaid.

Realizing she was still naked from her bath, she blushed, covering herself and backing away from the window. “I will be down in a minute,” she promised the girl.

Nixie threw on her light blue sundress, the one that matched her hair, and a pair of flip flops. She ran out of her bedroom and through the house as fast as her legs would carry her. She walked around her house, climbing over rocks, until she was close enough to Tristan to touch her if she wanted. Luckily, the wind was not blowing toward her, so the ocean spray did not touch her skin.

“Tristan. You, too?” She wondered if Andrea had also turned.

Would you be interested in a Drarry roleplay perhaps?

Yes. Do you have a preference which character you play? Also at which point in the series do you want this to take place?

I'm really sorry I've been so quiet recently! I've had a really busy week >.< I'll get a post in the IC as soon as I can! (Hopefully later today ^^)

That's totally okay; I've been really busy as well because of my babysitting. Watching a 1 year old is a full time job.

If you have not posted since we got to the farm, please feel free to jump in. *hint hint*
