She knew this was the best choice to give her child the best chance possible. The father a one night fling who she had little knowledge of, her family turning their backs on her for the choice in keeping this little bundle in her arms instead of giving her life a chance and her friends disappearing on her because they were not ready to give up the young life style. She had started out wanting to raise this baby alone but now, Melanie knew that she just couldn't do it. "Are you sure about this? This is your last chance to decide, after that there is no going back..." "Yes, I am positive...." Melanie replied, the nurse taking the child from her arms and slowly exiting the room to let her cry alone. Someone's regret and pain can also bloom someone elses happiness. Melanie's little girl was put up for adoption, set for a family that had been waiting for a long time. They gave her the name Nonna, happy to finally be grace with a child but not everything goes to plan. In the final stages of adoption, the couple found out they were pregnant. The agency because of this denied them the adoption which meant Nonna was stuck in the system for many more years. It wasn't until the age of five that Nonna got to have an actual family of her own. They were a sweet couple, everything seeming to be perfect but there are many things that a child doesn't think about or see coming. The way her parents acted towards each other like roommates, each going threw the motions and the way they got upset with her for things she didn't understand. It was expressed in the way they wanted her to learn or do certain things like playing the piano that were just harsh.It was like they wanted her to be exactly the way they wanted but they were loving so she looked past it all. The older she became the more distant her parents became with her and the more they fought among themselves. It was just little verbal fights at first but as the years progressed, the fighting got steadily worse. When she hit nine years old, Nonna awoke to have her whole world shattered. The yelling scared her from sleep but she wanted to know what was going on so Nonna slowly crept from her room, quietly moving down the stairs and each step from her bare feet bringing her closer to the noise. At the sound of a shatter, she sprinted into action and rushed into the kitchen to find her father in a rage while her mother was just was mad, each throwing slander at each other. Things were being tossed about, Nonna ignored and unnoticed until a plate shattered above her head making her cry out in fear as the pieces fell all around her. Her mother noticed her presence first, her face trying to calm and a weak smile appearing on her face as they all stood together in a ruined mess of a kitchen. Her father ordered her to go back to bed, not being able to stand seeing her right now as the fight was too close to home while looking at Nonna. Nonna wanted to know what was going on though which was the last straw as her father moved towards her but her mother blocked the way, starting up the fight again as he grabbed her roughly. Nothing made sense to her other than seeing the fight become physical as they started to take blows at each other and she knew this couldn't go on. She stepped in, trying to stop them only to be thrown into the glass covered floor. In pain was intense, her injuries oblivious as the two moved from the kitchen as her mother ran. She pushed up from the ground, pieces stabbing into her body roughly but she ignored it as she went after her parents as the fight spilled out onto the lawn. The noise alerting the neighbors which in turn caused the cops to show up and the picture wasn't good or pretty. Nonna was taken to the hospital and separated from her parents, her parents obviously not fit to be guardians in the governments eyes or anyone else. She was now alone, back in the system and figuring out the signs that had been there all those years. She had been nothing more than a replacement for a lost daughter. A patch on an alright ended marriage. The closer she had gotten to the age of their real daughter, the more the past came into light and they blamed each other. It made her see that love was a lie. It was something pretty people told each other to get what they really wanted. After that Nonna was know as a runner, trying to get away from every home she was sent to or causing as much trouble as possible so they would send her away. When she turned to stealing, the cops felt sorry for her and gave warnings since she was young but as she grew in years, they felt less sorry for her. Luckily, she got good enough at stealing that she could rob someone blind and they wouldn't feel a thing. At thirteen she decided it was time to make a real run for it. Get out of Los Angeles and go as far away from California as she could and hopefully to never return. She walked along the highway for hours, after the last car dropped her off and not being able to take her farther. The cold setting in as clouds loomed over head, her feet hurting and her jacket not giving a lot of warm. No cars seemed to be passing, her hope in getting somewhere safe before dark was dwindling fast. She stopped worrying about hitchhiking and just started walking as fast as she could along the road, looking for a sign until she noticed something way up ahead. Nonna moved as quickly as she could, running to see what could be up ahead only to be stopped at the sheer horror in front of her. The car was munched in on one side, leaving the other with scraps and in an okay position. She moved quickly, fear for the people inside getting to her as she pulled the drivers door open since it was the only good side. Nonna's fingers went to find his pulse, relieved that he didn't seem to have much damage if any and the pulse strong. She moved to the backseat door on the same side, hoping to get to anyone that might be in the passenger seat only to find the backseat had more than one occupant inside. She turned her attention to the person closest to her, noticing it was a guy (Parker) around her age. He wasn't in as good of shape as what she assumed was his dad but it looked like he would be alright. Her eyes drifted over to the person next to him only to have her heart stop. The girl next to him was in bad shape, blood dripping onto the floor and pooling there. She quickly dug into her bag, pulling out her phone before yanking off her jacket and carefully crawling into the car. Nonna did her best to avoid hurting the guy as she moved around him, trying to find the girls wound. Once she did, she pressed her jacket to the wound before dialing for help and telling where the wreck was. The girls pulse was so low and slow that she tried to focus on her, hoping the woman in the front would be alright. She only waited till she heard the sound of sirens before getting herself out of there, not wanting to stick around to be put right back where she had run from. Dashing into the trees near the road, she kept going not stopping even as the rain started to fall on to her skin. The jacket she was wearing long forgotten and left behind. Nonna hitchhiked and pickpocket her way to Pennsylvania York, doing her best to get through schooling without anyone finding out about her being homeless. She turned to gambling, learning the violin, and finding it easy to trick people out of their money by using magic/deception. It made it easy for her to stay in a cheap hotel and just try to get through highschool. When she was sixteen, a group of "friends" or people who liked to think they were asked her to join their local band after finding out she could play keyboard. It wasn't like she had much else going on so she agreed. She tried staying low key and not really being a part of anything but music even though they tried a few times. The only one in the group that seemed to understand or not dis on her choices was a girl named Lucy. They got closer as friends than most in her life but that seemed to be cut short when the band started falling apart. She couldn't handle this kind of drama and felt bad for having to tell Lucy she would be leaving as well as the fact the other was being blamed for everything by the group. At seventeen, Nonna decided to make her way back to California and face her fear of the state. She decided on San Fransico because of the university there and chose to go there once she finished up highschool. At one point her last year she decided to buy a bass guitar on whim, hoping to learn if but sadly found no passion for it like she did her violin. It started to become a hassle even having the then when she found a fellow student (Soren) to sell it too, gaining back a little of the money wasted. After highschool, she joined college only to find that it wasn't her thing so Nonna went on to be a street performer and watching/touring bands whenever possible. It was at one that she met Tori, the woman giving her a place to call home as they became roommates. It stayed like this for many years, the two of them good friends until the break up. Nonna noticed her attraction to a band member from one of the many concerts and pushed Tori to introduce herself. The guys name was Matt and the two seemed to hit it off but it also meant that Nonna suddenly got the cold shoulder. Saying she needed the extra space and that she had projects she wanted to do which meant Nonna needed to leave. No wanting to put up with her, hating that she had been dropped after helping Tori she left and decided to get her own little place with the money she had saved. She kept on street preforming and doing odd jobs to pay the bills. It wasn't much but it was a living and she enjoyed her music or dazzling strangers with magic.

Bio: Parker was born and raised in Los Angeles with his younger sister Emily and both of his parents, but not in the district of Hollywood. His mother, Marie, was an attorney for one of Parker's favorite bands - 'Rest Now, Child' - who Parker had the pleasure of meeting often, which originally piqued his interest in music and where he got his first lessons as a drummer and guitarist. His father, Kenny, was a chef at a five-star restaurant and would teach Parker how to cook before he became an alcoholic and a less involved father. Kenny was also emotionally unstable, which was seemingly passed down to Parker, unlike his alcoholism. Luckily, however, Kenny was not abusive.

When Parker was fifteen, his father tried to surprise the family with a trip to Niagara Falls, but as usual was drinking and caused the family to be in a head on collision before they even made it out of California. Parker's father was somehow left mostly unharmed, but his sister Emily was killed instantly and his mother was left partially paralyzed and with brain damage, unable to do even the simplest things on her own. Parker was left with a broken shoulder, arm, and wrist on his left side, and a very bitter relationship with his father whom he obviously blamed for the crash. Parker's injuries healed fine on their own, but they left an addiction to opiates and benzodiazepines in their wake.

When Parker turned seventeen, he took the large sum of money his mom had left for him and put it toward an apartment of his own in Hollywood and used it to feed his lasting pill addiction, as there are more than enough drug dealers in L.A. Kenny quit taking care of Marie shortly after, leaving her in a hospital in San Fransisco when he moved off to a location Parker never bothered to learn. Parker finished school in San Fransisco to be close to his mother who barely even knew he was in the room when he regularly visited. During his visits, he met Lucy, who had checked herself into the psychiatric ward. Not too long later Parker was dating Lucy, as they shared an interest in music and Parker seemed to bring out an inspiration in her that she had previously lost.

Parker stayed in San Fransisco for a couple more years so he could attend his dream college of Vanderbilt University to hone his musical talents on a scholarship. While there, he began to get private lessons from his favorite teacher, Professor Wyclif, whose son Soren quickly became Parker's closest friend though he was four years younger than Parker. Both Soren and Parker both intended on moving to Hollywood to follow their dreams as musicians, but Parker left before Soren after graduating his second year at Vanderbilt. Around the time of Parker's graduation, he realized his drug addiction was pushing Lucy back into her own previous dark time of drugs and even saw it affect her song writing. Parker refused to be the cause of these things and reluctantly parted from her. It left a heavy feeling on him for some time after, but he knew it was the right decision.

When Parker returned to Hollywood, he got a crappy studio apartment way below his saved budget so he could keep a lot of his money for his future band, which he immediately went to work to try to form. One local concert he attended, he became quite fond of the voice of a certain back-up singing guitarist. Attempting to get his attention, he attended an after party the band had that night with a group of other audience members and found the man's name was Mathew and he had no interest in starting a band with Parker. As Parker's search continued, however, Mathew was found in four of the bands Parker had been searching for talent in over the next few years until eventually Parker and Mathew became friends. Not too long after, Parker's best friend Soren moved to town and decided to move in with Parker. On that day, the metalcore band "The Harbingers" was born. Soon after, Parker and Lucy got back in contact when he discovered she was in Hollywood as well, and of course was added to the band's roster.

Personality: Parker is a stubborn but fun-spirited kind of guy with a silver tongue and quick wit. He may have a short temper, but he's very sympathetic and caring. He's also rather straightforward, and is a teensy bit narcissistic Add all this together and you have the emotionally unstable pill-addicted cocktail that is Parker Mors.

Matt can often be found wearing one of his numerous band shirts (most of which are local and over half of which are from his previous bands) and a pair of worn jeans. He has a number of jackets but his favorites are a writer’s coat and a leather jacket. While completely different he loves them both. Matt also has a partial sleeve on his upper left arm that has all of his bands’ names and a logo to go with them as well as other metal/hardcore imagery. NOTE: Matt keeps himself clean shaven unlike in the pic.

Bio: Matt was born in the small town of York, Pennsylvania. His mother had been a flute soloist and his father had been a first chair trumpet both playing for the Philadelphia Philharmonic Orchestra, this is in fact how they had met, but they had both retired from the performing arts to raise their family (Matt has a younger sister Alexis, 3 years younger than him). Matt's father Lance had started teaching at Central York High and Elizabeth, Matt's mother became a stay at home parent, although she often helped with the band. So as it was when their son had shown an interest in music at a young age (6), they started him on piano lessons. His little sister Alexis also showed a similar interest when she was about (5), whether this was because she admired her brother her because she was genuinely interested was hard to tell but eventually it became clear that she had a passion for the piano as even once her brother quit taking lessons (which happened when he was in the middle of 8th grade) she continued. For Matt the piano had been a way to dive into music at an early age but at the end of the 8th grade he turned his focus to learning a new instrument, the guitar. This came from his developing interest in post-hardcore and metal music and from the fact that his parents let him go into the city (Philadelphia) on Friday and Saturday nights with his friends (Vic and James- the elder brother of a Lucy Estuert-, both of whom were a year older than him). In the city with his friends they often hit up smaller venues and watched the local bands play. Watching these bands play ignited a fire deep inside him. Vic and Matt began jamming together, James drifted further away from them as he became more interested in the drug use side of music rather than the music itself. They would continue to play music together (not as a band or anything but rather just friends in a garage) up until the time Vic left for college, Vic was headed to Bellevue in Washington state. This left Matt pretty much on his own as he tried to figure out he was going to do with is life. His parents wanted him to go to college and he wanted to appease them as much as possible as they had made his lifestyle (concerts, music, band merch, etc) possible. Finally deciding that he wanted to see the west coast he applied and was accepted to Vanderbilt University in San Francisco (age 18).

In San Francisco well majoring in music performance he took lessons with Professor Wyclif who had become one of his favorite professors in his short time there. One day while he was waiting for the Professor he met his son Soren and the two introduced themselves and had a mildly stimulating conversation about the post hardcore and metal scene in the local area. After a year of attending school he decided that college just wasn’t for him. Not wanting to return home (to a family that viewed him as a disappointment) he found himself working odd jobs in LA to pay for a small apartment with some other guys. These guys would become the first of a series of bands that Matt would be involved in. This band was Aeon to Oblivion (length 8 months). Sadly this band, like many others in the future ended on a highly negative note. Milo, the front man and vocalist of the band wanted to boot Matt off guitar and out of the band to make room for his sister Petra. Matt wasn't at all okay with the idea of being booted out for a lesser guitarist. The end of Matt with AtO happened the night before Petra's plane was to touchdown at LAX. Matt was at Milo's pleading his case when the pleading turned into an argument. Such an argument that it ended with beer bottles flying through the air, a table being flipped and the cops being called by the neighbors. No charges were brought forward though it should go without saying that Matt and Milo's friendship dissolved that night. Soon after the fight and his exit from AtO he found out that the band Nephilim’s Curse (length 4 months) was on the look-out for a keyboardist. Putting his knowledge of piano to good use he soon found himself jamming Electronic Hardcore every Friday or Saturday night. When their original bassist/backup vocalist quit the band looked to Matt to fill the role of backing screams. Surprising both the band and himself he managed it with not the slightest of problems. Up until that point he had never done more than sing/scream in the shower or along with the stereo. When Curse found a new bassist, Kyle, Matt and he did not get along. Although the rest of the band meshed well with the bassist. One night the band was sitting in Luke’s (their lead vocalist) basement and the band informed Matt that they no longer had the need for keyboards as they had decided to backtrack all of the parts. Matt could see Kyle’s grin as the band broke the news to him. Standing up to leave, he hesitated and decided on a different course. Grabbing Kyle’s bass he smashed it into the bassist (as Kyle stood to grab it from him) and then threw it against the concrete floor before marching up the stairs and out of the house. He had only just made it back to his place when he was arrested on charges of aggravated assault. He spent the next few nights in jail before Curse was able talk Kyle into dropping the charges. For a month or so after that he just went to shows and jammed in private. It was one night when he was subbing in on guitar for the band Defy the Heavens (a total of 3 weeks of shows as a sub) that the band Tomorrow Never Comes (a little over 6 months) reached out to him to fill their need of backing vocals and guitar. After about 4 months in the lead singer quit without warning after getting into an argument with Matt over a girl that they were both dating. With only a week before their next show they didn’t have time to find a new lead singer so Matt stepped in to learn the parts. This was his first time singing clean vocals for an audience, though he had the band backing him for screams. So that week Tomorrow Never Comes took the stage by storm and what was a now a 3 piece band left the audience screaming for more. As the band continued to look for a new singer Matt stepped up to volunteer for the role full time. Although the drummer and cofounder of TNC, Jace, denied the idea believing that Matt was superior guitarist to vocalist. Deciding that if TNC wouldn’t let him sing then it was time to move on to another band that would. Joining up with a the smallest band he had played with yet, False Kings (3 months) he filled the role of rhythm guitarist well doing co-vocals. The band was six piece and honestly there was a huge disagreement among the band on what direction to take the music, the keys/programmer wanted a more EHM feel, well the lead guitarist and bassist wanted to do something with more of a classic thrash feel. The drummer had a strong preference for deathcore well the lead vocalist seemed to write more towards a pop-punk feel. Matt at the time was just looking for a strong post hard core style band. It was no surprise then that the band didn’t last long although it was the after-show parties that really made False Kings stick out to any fans they may have had and to Matt himself. It was at one of these parties that Matt met Parker, and the seed for the future band Harbingers was born. Parker at the time wanted Matt’s voice but Matt was already committed to trying to make False Kings work, even though less than three months later the band would implode. Both Parker and Matt kept meeting at shows and after show parties but one or the other was always already working on something with another band. Though these meetings of coincidence would eventually led to them forming a band together.

After False Kings blew apart Matt took a break from the music scene, only going to the occasional show and didn’t really look for any bands (3 months). In this down time Matt met a girl named Tori who would proceed to become his girlfriend off and on for the next year and half or so. She it seemed had a great vocal talent so the two of them started a joint venture and ended up plugging in the original bassiest from Nephilim’s Curse and the drummer from False Kings they formed a lighter posthard/deathcore band. The band was Evening Tide (9 months) and together the band succeeded in making themselves well known in the local area partially for their unique sound, partially because of their talent and partially because the lead singer was a babe. They even went as far as to record an EP together (The Barren Glory EP). When Matt and Tori initially broke up the band fell apart as the dual vocalist were the center of the band. Less than a month after the explosion of Evening Tide Matt found himself in a new band by the name of One With Nothing (3 months) playing guitar and singing some cleans. The band was nothing special to be honest, they blended Emo style lyrics with the guitar and drum tone of post-hardcore and often found themselves being compared to a weaker, slightly heavier 30 Seconds to Mars. The comparison alone upset Matt. It was after one of the shows that he ended up hooking back up with Tori. She convinced him that night to leave OWN and join her new project Forever Unbound (5, nearly 6 months), a band that she had put together herself that planned on fusing power metal with the vocal styling and influences of post-hard core. With an astounding 3 guitarist (counting Matt), 3 vocalist (also counting Matt), two bassist, drummer and keyboardist the octet took Hollywood by storm. The band soon found themselves basically fast tracked for fame as they were signed to Nuclear Blast Records. It was after being with the band for almost 6 months that drama exploded and Tori and Matt’s relationship ended permanently(?). This was because it was at this point that Matt found out not only was she sleeping with their band mate, 3rd vocalist and bassist Draven, he also found out that she was sleeping with the manager from their label. It was when he found this out that he executed his revenge in a fashion only suiting one destined to become the rider of strife. He volunteered to take their latest demos to their manager after they had finished some new recordings one night. On the way to the label Matt made a stop by his place, cleared the actual files and left a message detailing the affair between Tori and the manager. Rather than leaving it for the manager he put it in the higher ups mail box. It was then that he quit without informing anyone. Naught but a few weeks later he heard that not only had Forever Unbound been dropped but the band had fallen into inner turmoil and been left in ruin. Over the next few months Matt never found another solid band instead he found himself occasionally subbing for any number of bands on any of the keyboards, vocals, backing vocals or guitar parts they had need for. During this down time Parker came back into Matt’s life and told of the band Harbingers that he was hoping to push forward with. With no band to call his own Harbingers not only seemed the best option it was really the only option. Now days Matt lives in a 3 room loft (bathroom, bedroom, kitchen/living/dining room) works at a local coffee shop, The Grind, and spends his free time writing lyrics and checking out local shows.

Personality: Matt is driven, he has an intense urge to see a band he is a part of become a mainstay of the post hardcore community. With no option of returning home he will do nearly anything it takes to make a band work, though he does want to make it through honest work. Matt is slightly arrogant but not overly so. The arrogance does come through in his day to day life but is more from insecurity than from true hubris. He fears that because of the last 8 bands and over 3 years of his life he will never accomplish anything that matters in life. He is quick to trust but when scorned even quicker to retaliate, often times with more than what could be deemed equal measures.

Bio: Born in San Francisco to a university music professor, he was single handedly by his father, his mother having died in child birth. Growing up Søren showed great interest in the fine arts. His father of course as a music professor at Vanderbilt University encouraged these interests, and even began to teach his son piano at age seven. These lessons continued until he was fifteen.

The lessons were held at the university, where his father taught, for convenience. In fact it was after one of these lessons when he was fourteen that he met Parker. The young college student was getting lessons from Søren's father and the two quickly became friends, bonding over their love of music. In fact it was Parker who introduced Søren to the metal genre and a vast majority of its sub-genres. When high school started Søren purchased a bass guitar from a fellow student and began to teach himself how to play, getting a few pointers here and there from his father and Parker. During his high school years he worked hard on improving his music skills, often in his father's university office. On one occasion he had the pleasure of meeting Matthew, one of his father's students. They ended up pleasantly talking for a while about metal music. Also in high school Søren was asked to join several bands, yet he always declined.com While he was confident in his own abilities and skill, he was not confident in the idea of trying to click musically with others in a group.

In his first year of college at Vanderbilt (he got in on scholarships and a few references from the university's professors) though he quickly bonded with his roommate, Lane, and the even decided to start a band called "The Weather Underground". The idea to form a band had come about one night when Søren had been in the dorm playing an original rhythm on his base and his roommate joined in with some of the lyrics he had been working on, the sound melded and they decided to give it a try with a few other students from the university. Shortly before the start of their second year they were offered a contract with a small label named "Deaf Defying Records", and they accepted. Søren dropped out early in the second year of college so he could concentrate on improving his skill on the bass guitar. However, shortly into their time with the label Søren left the band, because he didn't like the label or the songs they were trying to push on the band. He knew the songs were good, but he felt that it was lacking what he had felt back in the dorm the first time he played with Lane. It was about this time that he remembered the times he and Parker talked about the Hollywood music scene, and Søren decide to check it out for himself.

Now he can often be found working at a local music store, in fact he works so often that he easily knows the faces of regulars like Lucy. If not working he is either usually out with Parker or back at their place working away on his bass, trying his best to make "The Harbingers" a name to be recognized.

Personality: While he is a bit of an egotist, he tends to be jovial and light hearted, unless you have found some way to tarnish his "honor" (ego). He is also rather determined in his actions, always feeling he is doing what is right , given whatever situation. When his "honor" has been victimized he becomes slightly withdrawn and depressed, and it usually takes feeding his ego or some lame act of vengeance for him to revert to normal.

History: Lucy was born into a politically, conservative and highly religious and loving family in York, Pennsylvania. She was brought up singing in the Church Choir since the age of contemplation. For her it was six and a half years. Her parents chose to homeschool her, and some may say her extra educational facilities lead to her early, remarkable contemplation state, but it may also have been her downfall, not having it nourished quite so properly.

At age five she, one year before reaching her age of contemplation, she was encouraged into the fine arts of dance, ballet. She flourished quite a bit, learning the proper stage etiquette a of a performing, eloquent, dancing, and porcelain doll.

At age ten, Lucy was given her first instrument, (aside from a piano, which she picked up at a age five along with her ballet), a guitar. It was pink and had a small flower emblem on it. The first song she played was "Hey Jude" by The Beatles. She loved her guitar. . Almost more than herself and not just because it was pink and girly and everything a girl like her would have wanted in a guitar, but because it gave her a sense of independence and a way to freely express herself. Unlike ballet, which she had to act in a strict manner and code with the rest of her dancing teammates. In a way, her guitar defined her life, and stayed with her.

At fourteen years old, Lucy went from homeschooling to public school. She was thrown out of her little pond of a house full of ballet and fine music and into the giant, monster ocean of the public school system, which resided in her neighborhood, or backyard for all that matters. Her older brother, James, had also been thrown into the public school system (years before her) and he survived just fine except for one thing--he developed the habit of enjoying psychedelics. Lucy dared not tell her parents, afraid to make a rift between her brother and her, as well, as the fear of breaking her parents' hearts. It was not as if her brother's grades suffered any. If anything, he graduated with flying colors and landed himself a hefty scholarship to the honors system at the state university.

However, Lucy had a much harder time socially, educationally than her brother did. As a little fish, she was drowning in the public school and was not sure how to ask for the proper help. Her grades suffered, and she, of course, found a student tutor to mentor her. Unfortunately, the tutor decided to help Lucy in a way that was not quite legal. She offered Lucy Adderall, promising great results with her grades. Lucy wanted to be just like her tutor. In fact, she wanted to be a tutor--but not with suffering grades. She looked at the tutor as some kind of hero and took the Adderall.

With the Adderall, Lucy found herself becoming more social and her grades were even beginning to improve. Of course, with her social life fluttering, the peer pressure was getting to the naive, innocent child. She found herself smoking weed at a social outings. Besides, her brother did it, and he was just fine. She shrugged off her angel's warning and continued down this path, and suddenly, she was thrown under the bus without even knowing it. She was introduced to a white powder, finer than unicorn hair--cocaine. It was her drug. She had to have it, again. She just had to. She had no real explanation as to why, except that it was hers for the taking. Those moments, those fantastical snowy moments after snorting a line of unicorn hair--she wanted them. . always.

Of course, she could not pay for it. Cocaine did not come for free. She sold some CDs, DVDs, but nothing too noticeable. She did not want her parents to discover what she was doing (snorting). It was not as if she could get a job, either. Her parents would never allow it--wanting her to focus more on her studies than making money. In this, Lucy found her way to get cocaine. Several days before her fifteenth birthday, Lucy found herself in the same bed with her Geometry teacher. He had large ears, a large nose, a large mouth, and large hands. He had been her first customer, and the reason she could pay for much more than a couple of dime bags for her birthday celebration (when her parents were asleep).

The repercussions of the incident left her scarred but she got what she wanted. Her pimp wanted her for more business, coaxing her with phrases that left her vulnerable. "She was good money, a fresh body." She was not sure if she wanted to do it, again. It hurt. It was scary. He was over fifty and had a wrinkly forehead, wrinkly eyes, and a wrinkly mouth, and all those wrinkles had slobbered over her petite, adolescent frame. And yet, during class, he hid his wrinkles and age under a tie, a white, buttoned, Oxford shirt, and dress slacks. She felt like a monster, and her grades began to suffer as she feared continuing business and who her second client may be. She never expected her first one to be her Geometry teacher--and he was not even cutting her any slack with her school grades. It left her feeling sick. .

And the sickness was only cured by one thing. . the sweet smell of white powder that reminded her so much of Christmas morning.

At age sixteen, Lucy joined a local band with "friends" at school. They played music, did drugs. . And even slept around. Lucy was still hesitant, but found herself sleeping with the lead singer, which ultimately lead to the break up of the band. Fingers were pointed at her, of course. And rumors about the incident flew, Lucy was no longer perceived as some innocent little girl, no, her true colors were seeping through the seams and those occasional nosebleeds. Lucy wanted to run away from it all, but instead, she grudgingly graduated from high school, going through the motions -- and finally, when it was time for college, she fled her house for San Francisco, the city if opportunity. She took her guitar which trusted her. Who cared what it looked like? A little beat up around the edges, a little Courtney Love to her tattered angel wings.

In San Francisco, she worked at a small head shop, watching the customers come and go, and close by ten, hoping someone would discover her acoustic solos. She was willing to join any band looking for a new mate. But nonetheless, in a new town, it was seemingly hard and difficult for someone like her, to reach out and meet anyone. . Until she met Tim. It was in the head shop that she met Tim, a drug prince of San Francisco. Tim gave drop dead gorgeous Molly, pure MDMA, to everyone he met. And for himself, he spared the public of his heroin and meth addiction, except for the lucky girl sleeping in his bed that night. And fuck, once his eyes were set on Lucy, he had to have her, and this drug prince always got what he wanted. She was his new bitch. And after a while, he became her fix, her life support. Lucy forgot why she even came to San Francisco in the first place. She dropped her guitar and began flying around the multiverse of hallucinations, parties, sex, drugs, rock 'n roll, high on a Californian Jefferson Airplane. She couldn't remember the last time she was sober. All she knew was that Tim was her life; she was finally living the life of her dreams, she was tuck in a rabbit hole and didn't want out, no matter how unrecognizable she was to herself.

But then, suddenly, she overdosed. Tim dumped her at the hospital, and bailed, mostly for the part of not wanting a dead body on his hands. . In fact, he wanted nothing to do with her afterwards, as well. At the hospital, she was admitted into the psychiatric ward for drug addiction and other such donations of her nature a the time. It was in the hospital where she met Parker out of the blue who had been visiting his mother. They immediately hit it off and began to spend many days and nights together, which resulted in them eventually dating. Unfamiliar feelings of trust and perhaps something more soon stirred for her, and he began inspiring her to write lyrics as well as pick up the guitar, again, and start life anew.

However, the two began drifting apart, mostly because Parker saw that his drug addiction was affecting Lucy in a negative manner. He could see a deterioration in her song writing, and he could not help but feel that he should separate himself from her. So, the two went their separate ways. Lucy was slightly broken hearted, but with her guitar in hand. She knew she could conquer the world, so to speak. . .

Fast forward to present day and skinny, heroin-chic Lucy now lives at a dumpy motel Called Sunrise Plaza in Hollywood near Parker’s studio at Stabulum Quarters. She can be found at the Barcade, practicing with the band, bar tending at Frankenstein's, or spending what little money she has at a music shop Søren works at.

Personality: Lucy used to be shy and sheltered but has since grown out of that trait and has now become a bit "brazen." Some would call her arrogant or vulgar or sarcastic though she prefers the term "confident" instead. Although she appears to not care about the opinions of others she truly does deep down. Lucy prefers not to fight, as it does bring back several moments of confrontation she had with Tim (as she overlooked his abusive nature for his drugs). She is compassionate for humankind and animals, for the most serious parts. She feels guilty about killing bugs and insects, but will never admit it.

Contracted

By this time use to the theatrics of Søren, Matt was hardly surprised when Søren turned their both into a perch. Watching the bassist though Matt couldn't help but get excited by the idea of performing with him. Søren was obviously born for the stage, he always seemed in the middle of a performance. And it was this performance oriented nature of Søren's that was so contagious to Matt. Enjoying the reenactment of how the t-shirt idea Matt chuckled inwardly, never would he or the band need to pay for dinner and a show as long as they brought Søren with them. But like many unsanctioned performances this one was to be short lived as one of the restaurant's proprietor's marched his way to the the table. Yet this was still another thing about Søren that no longer surprised him, the bassist had on at least a few occasions prior made it painfully obvious that he could be thrown out of anywhere, never though did it seem purposeful.

Scooping his last egg rolls off his plate and onto a napkin Matt swiftly stood and pocketed the food. Intercepting the man bringing the check Matt offered a slight apology with a promise of quick exit as he took the bill to the counter to pay. Once settling the check Matt found himself outside waiting to decide who would be driving. As he had stated on arrival, he'd be damned if it were Søren again.
