Addica Vald
Location: Back of a King Taijitu heading towards Oli--- A5
After landing Addica took a moment longer to tend to his shoulder, all the while looking around the forest that he had crashed landed into. Looking above him into the tree branches Addica wished he could swing from tree to tree alternating launches from the Reisszahne but with his shoulder injured as it was it made more since to trek across the ground. Looking down at his WATCH he noticed most of the remaining unpaired students were behind him, deeper into the forest. Not quite where Addica wanted to find himself with an injured shoulder. Taking a longer glance at the WATCH Addica found a student who seemed more or less stationary, thusly he decided his destination. Activating his armguards, he watched them slide into place over his arms as well as over the dust reservoir of the Reisszahne. When the guards were locked in position Addica took off, sprinting through Death Grip Forest.
Well he ran he concentrated his aura, attempting to repair the damage he had done to his shoulder. Or at the very least null the pain enough to make it usable. Feeling the pain reside in his shoulder he decided to see if it was in good enough condition to use the Reisszahne without pain. Aiming his right arm at a branch above him he let the kunai fly, as it made connection and he felt himself leave the ground a huge white snake head appeared in his line of flight.
Immediately relinquishing the blades hold on the tree he found himself dangling in the King Taijitu’s white mouth Addica only managed to keep from sliding down the throat of the monster by a firm grip he maintained on the upper lip. Hanging in the Taijitu’s mouth in between the fangs was pretty much the last place Addica had planned on ending up when he had shot his own fang into one of the trees. Holding his grip firm with his right arm Addica aimed his left Reisszahne towards the ground, and subsequently the Taijitu’s lower jaw. As if it knew what he was thinking the Taijitu began to shake its head, trying to dislodge the tasty morsel of flesh that was Addica from its mouth into its gullet. The shaking threw off Addica’s aim but taking his best bet he fired… and scored a direct hit as the Reisszahne passed through the lower jaw all the way into the ground locking in place with a solid thunk. Reeling in his cable the Taijitu’s head, as well as Addica, zoomed towards the ground. At the last second Addica rolled out of the Taijitu’s mouth, letting the fangs and the upper jaw come crashing into the lower jaw and subsequently the ground. Landing on the ground with a rather ungraceful thud Addica had no time to relax as the black head of the Taijitu came crashing after him continuing with his roll he managed to dodge the black head while at the same time his cable came in between its jaws. Thinking on the fly Addica launched himself onto the black heads neck, continuing to retract the cable from his left hand. Landing on the back of the black head, Addica launched his other Reisszahne through its lower jaw, crossing his cables and in such form a kind of make shift bit and bridle on the black head that was locked into place by the white head.
From that position it became a simple matter of using the yellow dust stored in the gauntlets to give shocks to either side of the King Taijitu in an effort to steer it towards the student that Addica had originally picked out his partner. After all as he was he couldn’t actually execute the Taijitu without it giving it an opportunity to attack back. As Addica on the back of his makeshift mount cleared the forest he saw the shape of a fellow hunter-to-be seemingly stuck in the cliff face.
