The room gave a sudden lurch, throwing them all across the room, and wind rattled against the walls from all sides.
Mokley GM Post

Christopher's body was launched across the room like a helpless rag-doll when his forehead hit off off the bookshelf that he had been admiring earlier. There was a small gash about a 1/4 inch long where a small trickle of blood started to roll down his face. Christopher yelled at the top of his lungs "SWEET BABY JESUS! WHAT A DAMN SHIP!" He finished his rage by knocking all of the crumbling books that rested upon the bookcase in every direction of the room. The only book that remained was the only new book that was titled "The Reapers Lie". It was unlike any book that he had seen the few times he visited his local library for a light read it was bound in fancy looking leather which he never seen a book bound in one of those before. He was so enraged about hitting his head off the bookcase that he was determined to leave it completely naked as he felt deep down. Stripped of his knowledge since he knew nothing about his current situation and ultimately vulnerable. He grabbed onto the book with both hands and used his feet as leverage and placed them on the next row on the shelf and he tugged with all of his might. It was the most annoying book that he had ever come across, Christopher had got annoyed with the book and punched it before he turned away from it angrily.

Christopher had used quite a bit of energy trying to get the book off of the shelf and decided to lie down on the ground for a minute. While he was down there he could hear other voices but he thought that he was losing his mind, being stuck wherever the hell he was stuck. The collection of people that he had with himself didn't truly help any, a short Egyptian lady who spoke decent english with an accent, a male apiarist that he couldn't understand what he was saying through poor language and also an accent, a extremely young male who looked mortified that his electronic device wasn't working properly and a chick who still hasn't come to yet who Christopher was worried that they might not have survived the trip on this ship.

As he was lying on the ground he thought that it might be because he was hungry and thirsty since it was god knows how long it has been since he ate food or consumed water since the last thing he ate was a double cheeseburger 5 hours before he was drinking Captain and Cokes all night. As he lay on the floor daydreaming of another cheeseburger he could hear the voices again this time he could make out words.

"Someone's...there's a...fok..."

It seems that the five people in this room were not the only people on this boat which could be a good or bad thing, it could be their captors or on the other hand it could be more captured people in the same situation as themselves. Christopher had tried knocking on the bark floor in a rhythmic pattern so show that it would be a human knock since he didn't know how to do something called Morse Code.
Ahaha no worries, I went home to visit my mom so I wasn't as active as normal :P

The rabbit that had been looking over the group as they started to depart from the flames had come crashing to the ground with such force that it could be heard over the raging inferno that Simon had accidentally caused. Simon was going to grab him and demand to get some straight answers out of him when he absolutely bolted without saying a word to anyone, not even Anise. Which made Simon extremely curious since he was attached to her side grovelling like a child moments earlier until now but when he looked in the direction that the rabbit had been looking he didn't see anything but flames. They had been there the whole time so it wouldn't make sense as to why it spooked Tyaelaem. To be honest nothing that he said made sense to Simon anyway. He also wanted to laugh at Anise because the rabbit was ohhh so faithful to her and getting her home but since she was still the possessor of a large sword he thought it would be against his best interests.

Simon had been following the group on the way up the hill and away from the flames when he could hear a voice that sounded familiar to Simon. He hasn't heard that in years since her accident but there no mistake that it was his sister, he knew this for two reasons; the first was because of her soft still youthful voice but the most obvious was the phrase "lonely boy". His sister would frequently call him that because no matter how many people were occupying the same space as her brother he would often look alone. Simon couldn't pinpoint the location of the voice at first over the flames around him but he noticed a spot that looked different from what he expected to see at the moment. There was a small gully that had a very tranquil feeling even though the current situation that they were in and it really wasn't something that he could ignore either.

Simon made an executive decision to himself that he was going into the gully without notifying since he was behind everyone else and it was his own personal matter. He couldn't rest knowing that he hear his sister in this bleak place. When Simon entered the gully he couldn't see any human life forms or anything that would emulate his sisters voice but it was a very relaxing place to be. It took his mind away from that hated rabbit, stubborn princess or coward lantern wielder. At the moment he didn't even care that the forest was burning down. That was when something popped into Simons head thinking about what the rabbit said about soothsayer summoning spirits. What if this was something of the case and the only way to see or communicate with his dearly departed sister. Simon looked down at the flower and picked up a whole one while thinking of something in his head. The previous experience he had was only one leaf what happened if he used a whole flower instead.

This was right when something else caught Simons eye, he had noticed that there was some more trees like they had seen back at the healing spring, similar to one that Simon had picked up that was Talans. Instead of using one that had already been claimed by someone else Simon would figure that he would just take one for himself and return the wolf to Talan. Simon walked over to the tree with the fox attached to it, in the back of his mind it had been picked because he figured if the fact that if he needed to pick an animal spirit or something to defeat a Kith he figured that a fox would be the best option out of the three to beat a rabbit.

Simon had a bad gut feeling about carrying two of these masks at one time but he knew that it would only be temporarily until he seen Talan again then it would only be one mask. That put his mind at ease again when he went back over to the flower, now the he had paid attention to the mask he could focus on the task that was at hand. Simon placed the torch in his right hand and picked up a flower with his left hand. He gripped the handle of the torch firmly not wanting to drop any aspect in case something messed up since he didn't want to ruin the tranquility of this beautiful gully. Simon took the whole flower and placed it directly into the base of the torches flame.

"Hello, can you hear me! I can't see you yet but I can hear you. I don't want to be alone anymore!" Simon whispered quietly in the gully.
Ohhh thats cool, the new 'search topic' will definitely help you with this one now @Mokley
Looking around the giant mall it looked like it was something out of a museum or a movie. The amount of trees that were on the inside of the mall is crazy. He also looked around and seen that there was more of those pine cones and other animated objects, which was making Karol a little more nervous about getting out of the mall safely since there is no easily accessible ways to get out.

Umm we could check other exits to see if they are blocked by trees also or there is a hardware store that might have some equipment that might help.

This was just Karols assumption being that there had never been a need for him to explore into the store. Hopefully even if there was some in that store they might have been lost after getting raided by trees. He had no idea how we was going to beat that many of the monsters if they all charged him given that he had such bit of a time beating three of them.

Got caught up with shizat, will post this afternoon/evening

Bunnita is all quirk (in a good day)
Calvin was along for the short ride as Roy had been the driver of their supply run to Wal-Mart. The ride wasn't as long as he hoped for since he was so used to traveling that it felt a little bit unusual for him to be stationary for as long as he had been. The plus side was that if they ever needed to come back and make another trip in the future that it wasn't that far away. While they were pulling into the parking lot he wondered if this trip would be truly productive to them since a large box store like Wal-Mart would typically be the first places that people would go for emergency apocalypse supplies. When they were planning the trip out it seemed like a fairly good idea. The group was there now and the longer that they stuck around outside of the camp was a greater chance of having an incident happen.

They pulled up to the front of the building where they had been a little bit over a dozen of zombies that were hanging around the front of the building. That was when the driver Roy asked what they should do. Calvin took a second to think about it. "It is tough to say because what if there are people waiting to ambush us at the doors when we walk through those doors. However there is no guarantee that any other route into the store would be available or unguarded. Whatever we do we should hurry, don't want wandering eyes to catch us."

Of course he wasn't really referring to zombies, with their numbers they could easily take care of the immediate threat of zombies that they had near them. It was what they couldn't see that could see them. He was really referring to other humans, looters to be particular. Humans would be quite a bit harder to deal with than a zombie and Calvin wasn't really equipped to fight a human at the moment.

"I also think the first place we should go is the hunting section grab as much weapons and ammo as we can. No point grabbing food if we can't keep out intruders, human or zombie. The next would be to grab food and medical supplies if there is any left."

"The egg reacts to your heartbeat. It wants you to free it from the iron prison, pull it out, smash it out, the forest is powerless to help until it's free. That's why the Sparrow King made the monkeybats attack you, he -- we -- want to free it. The egg can bring sunlight. It means the sky turns bright.

He wishes that this would be true, he would like to feel safe for a little bit. Not to have to worry about getting attack by pirates, monkeybats, princesses or the forest itself. However he still doesn't believe that this Kith is going to be the answer to their problems. One thing that he didn't like hearing was "Smash it out" while talking about the lantern. If he remembered correctly that was the only thing that had saved them from the flying monkeys of doom.

Simon heared the noise of scuttling and slurping when he noticed that there were little rats attacking the body of the poor pirate. One thing that he could do was to let the body be at peace, as much as he didn't want to and it would probably be consumed by fire he thought that he would give his spirit peace. He took the torch and let is rest against the pirates clothes until they caught fire. May your spirit rest in peace

Simon debated if he was going to do that or not but when he realized that it served two purposes, the first was to let his spirit rest but also he felt a small relief knowing that he really wanted to do that to Tyaelaem but that would suffice for now. He wandered what kinds of lies that he told the little princess to get her so hooked on his beliefs. If he was telling the truth he would be okay with it but he could feel in his bones that deep down he was not to be trusted. That was also when he remembered the voice that he heard right before Tyaelaem pulled out the spirit weed out of his torch. "Cook that damn bunny rabbit cook him until there is nothing left to his pathetic body." He knew that something would need to be done about that stupid rabbit eventually.

I agree with Kituo that we should go, i don't really want to get engulfed in flames.

Christopher had heard some stirring behind him but decided to pay no attention since he was paying complete attention to the bookcase that he had been inspecting. He couldn't believe what kind of preparation and maintenance would have to be done to keep this wood looking this nice. Especially in a environment that was as harsh as this, having being surrounded by all this strong salt air would case some sort of slightly rapid deterioration if not treated properly. However this was not the case for this bookcase. It was such a shame that such a beautiful bookcase was housing such disgraceful looking books, something this beautiful should have more than one new book in it. It should contain nothing but new books to complement it.

so Zosime decided to speak in Aramaic when she demanded, "Who are you? Where am I? Why have you brought me here?"

It wasn't until he heard conversing behind him that he decided to give his attention to the other occupants of the room since he was likely going to have a better conversation with two conscious humans as opposed to four unconscious. He also could tell by listening to what he could understand through broken dialect and tough to understand accents that they were in the same predicament that he was, stuck at this unknown location with no clue of how they got here. Christopher had turned around to observe the two conscious people and it was the short Egyptian female and bearded male wearing what looked like an apiarist outfit while two others still occupied their space on the bark floor.
Just before he decided to speak the young male with headphones awoke and looked as shocked and confused, especially after looking down at his phone. He felt a slight bit better knowing that they were all in the same boat together. The only one who was still out was the young female with orange hair.

"Hello my name is Christopher, unfortunately I don't have any more answers than any of you. I assume alike you all I have awoken on the same bark floor unfamiliar with any memory after going to sleep. I assure you I would have loved to wake up in my own bed"
