Crystal laughed. "Definitely not near my family, they are just trouble magnets," she added. Her scarred face lit up at the mention of the beach. "The beach would be great! Just think, the air is clean and waking up to the sound of waves." Her eyes glazed over in a dreamy fashion as her mind wandered to imagining calmer days. "Oh, baby, we should do it!" She exclaimed, her gaze returning back to her.
"I feel as if he wouldn't be surprised," Ace added, resting his elbow against his workbench. "I mean he did marry an ex-stripper," he murmured under his breath, not caring whether or not anyone heard him. Z couldn't help but silently laugh at the conservation, even if she thought it was inappropriate to talk about other people in such ways. "Is Dick as innocent as you guys make him seem?" She signed, grinning.
Ace snorted a laugh at Senna last sentence. "Have you met Lacy?" He laughed. "She's going to wear him out before they're forty." Z thumped Ace on the back of his head, making him spin around to face her, a grin still on his face. "Inappropriate," she signed with narrowed eyes.
Crystal's light blue eyes moved towards her as she heard her laugh. It was good to hear her laugh. "I was thinking somewhere less... active. More peaceful. Sure would help me with my anger "issues"." She made quotation movements with her fingers along with the word to emphasize it was an understatement. "But, of course, you get a say on where we go," she chuckled, lifting her head from the couch. "Or else it wouldn't be fair."
Z was watching Tim precariously, an every so slight smirk on her lips. Her eyebrows raised at the mention of Lacy having a husband. "I knew she was engaged, but when did she get married?" she signed, seemingly surprised. She felt kind of hurt she wasn't invited. Frowning suddenly, she turned her head towards Ace and snapped to get his attention. Her hands signed more quickly now as she narrowed her eyes at the ginger.
Ace opened his mouth to say something then slowly shook his head. "I'll explain later," he responded, shrugging. "The whole wedding was a bit...complicated."
Crystal smirked at her comment. "Sure, you've 'moved' in, but I mean actually living with me," she clarified, glancing down at the scars on her arms. "Just you and me. Our own place somewhere." She took a deep breath before leaning her head back against the pillows and looking at the ceiling. "And what I meant about Juliette was she's filthy f*cking rich, so if you're worried about finance then you could ask her to help."
"Two too many," Ace commented begrudgingly. He stood up to entertain himself with something else before Z reached over, grabbed his arm and stopped him. She held out a small metal canaster with a grin. Ace narrowed his eyes at her then let out a exasperated sigh and snatched the canaster out of her hand. Z turned back to Tim and signed, "How did you meet Ace?"
Crystal pursed her lips before walking over to the couch and sitting next to her. "I mean, this may sound stupid, but maybe Juliettee would be willing to help you?" She suggested, looking at her. "If you don't like that, you could always move in with me." She thought this entire situation was silly to stress about, especially since it should've never have happened in the first place.
Z happily clapped her hands with a grin. It wasn't often that she was in a room with more than one person who knew sign language. "In that case, my name is Z, and yes, that is my real name," she signed with quick precision. "I am from New Orleans." She glanced over to what Senna was doing and signed, "Does she need help?"
Ace was thoroughly...agitated that the two had disturbed his and Z's alone time but there was nothing he could do now. So, he quietly watched the purple haired woman and Tim interact, his eyes mostly trained on his guest.
Crystal stood in front of the open fridge but she wasn't looking for anything. Slowly and somehow calmly, she closed the door then turned around to face Waiola. "What is there to talk about?" She breathed out, crossing her arms. "I don't know what to say other than whatever you choose to do, I'm going to support you." Crystal had never thought about possibilities of kids because with her preferences, there was no way to have kids.
