Though I'd add in Ryusuke's younger sister.

Name: Kokoro Takahashi
Gender: Female
Age: 17

Looks:

Kokoro is small in stature, being only about 5' 2" and coming in at just shy of 100 pounds. She has longish red hair and emerald green eyes. Her wardrobe various a lot, she will wear anything from jeans and tee-shirts, to mini skirts and blouses. Just depending on her mood. Though she does prefer the color red. She likes to keep her hair loose, but will put it in a pony tail when working.

Personality: Kokoro has a light, cheerful nature. There's almost nothing that can wipe that smile off her face. She's got a good head on her shoulders and already has plans for what she wants to do after she's done with school. She's incredibly stubborn, once she has her mind set, there's no stopping her. Surprisingly aggressive, she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty in order to get what she wants. She loves to cook, especially sweet things, and her goal is own her own cafe one day. She has a bit of a brother complex and tends to get jealous if he hangs out with girls other than her for long periods of time. But does not love him in a creepy incest way, she just gets overprotective of him sometimes. She's selfless and likes to make other people happy before she even considers worrying about herself.

Background: Kokoro was into a happy family with loving parents and an older brother. The two siblings instantly hit it off and there was no attempted murders between the two of them. Though she was only three years old when Ryusuke lost the sight in his eye, and she didn't understand what was going on, she still knew that her brother and her parents were upset and did her best to make them happy. She was old enough to understand three years later when her brother lost his eye. It was a bit scary seeing the eye patch, but she still smiled through the whole thing and kept her brother going. She started cooking when she was ten, mostly just stirring things for her mother. But as she got older she started doing more and more. Now she pretty much cooks all their meals. She has extra love for creating sweets though, seeing the happy faces of people when they eat what she creates makes her happy. Her dream is to open up a cafe when she's older and she's currently trying to convince her brother to work for her. Right now works in the kitchen at the same cafe Ryusuke works at.

Who Can Use Him/Her?
Mostly me, I'd like to have control over their sibling relationship. Though you can still use her.
The first thing Caius was aware of was a strangely peaceful sense of falling. He opened his eyes to find that everything around him was black. Save for a single spot of light that was getting bigger and bigger as he fell. Well it was more like floating downward than falling. His hair lay perfectly down by his shoulders, even though he was falling head first. This was most certainly a dream, as Caius had just gone to bed after a long exhausting day. His muscles didn't ache, his eyes didn't feel heavy, none of the day's burdens were on him here. He kind of liked it, it was peaceful. He could see the spot of light more clearly now, it seemed to be a platform. But what really caught his eye was what the platform looked like. It looked like it belonged in the window of a church with the art style. It depicted a sleeping girl with incredibly long blonde hair, she was wearing a purple dress. All around her were seemingly important symbols and figures. Though he wasn't sure what the frying pan meant.

As he reached the platform, he instinctively flipped himself around so he would land on his feet. Which he did. As he landed there was a flash of light and three pillars appeared out of nowhere. Each one held a different weapon of sorts. One was a katana with a silver blade, black hilt, and red wrapping. Another was a club sized staff that was white and had a red perfectly circular stone on the top. And the final was a kite shield that was black in color with blue trim. There was a symbol in the middle, one that Caius recognized fully. It was Phoenix rising from the ashes, it was also painted in blue. Something was telling him to choose one, he wasn't sure why. But he did know that he was really liking this dream. It was the most interesting thing that had happened to him since he had found out his now former girlfriend was making porn videos with his now former best friend.

He thought the sword would be most useful for combat, but he really was attracted to that shield. So that was what he picked. He walked up to it and took it off the pillar, hooking it onto his left arm. He was glad he choose the shield, it felt right, comfortable. The pillars wielding the sword and the staff disappeared after that, along with the platform. Panic surged in Caius' chest as there suddenly wasn't anything to stand on and he found himself falling through black.

He opened his eyes, not realizing he had closed them in the first place, to find himself on another platform. He climbed to his feet and noticed two things at once. One was that he still had the shield, two was this platform looked different than the first. This one had a normal looking girl with red hair, she was also sleeping. She held some sort of bud in her hands and was surrounded by a strange array of symbols and people. Like a slug, what appeared to be a samurai dressed in leaf armor, and a one eyed pug with three legs. Four strange shadows appeared on the platform and as Caius watched, turned into adorable black creatures with glowing yellow eyes. At least they were adorable until he was the claws, and they started trying to kill him. Fighting with a shield was going to be different, but he had been in his fair shares of fights. A few punches, kicks, and blows from his shield later and they disappeared. But something worse appeared in their place.

His sister, or at least a dream version, appeared looking very frightened. For a moment all Caius could see was her. Then what she was afraid of showed up. It was some sort of giant black shadow creature. Like a big ugly version of the ones he had just fought. The thing took a swipe at his sister and his brain stopped working. With no regard to himself, Caius leaped in front of his sister and threw up the shield. The creature's clawed hand slammed into said shield with enough force to send pain up the entirety of his arms. A look of surprised crossed his face, for two reasons. One being that he had felt pain in a dream. The second that he was suddenly airborne again, as the shadow creature's blow sending him reeling off the edge of the platform.

Once again he opened his eyes, and once again he was on another platform. This one was very different than the other two. There were no fancy symbols or sleeping girls. There were three people on this one, two boys one with silver hair and the other with spiky brown hair, and one girl with reddish brown hair. Each of them seemed to be looking at him with various shades of blue eyes. Each of them had some sort of weapon in their hands, some sort of blade. Suddenly a voice began speaking to him out of nowhere. "You have chosen the power of the guardian and have shown it by protecting those you care about without regard to yourself. You have already proved why you were chosen. But be careful, it will be those you wish to protect who suffer if you should push yourself too far. Caius opened his mouth to speak, to address the bodiless voice. But before he could a blinding light engulfed everything.

Caius' eyes snapped open and he shot straight up in bed. He was panting and covered in sweat. He remembered he had a dream, but couldn't remember what it was about. All he remembered was a single sentence. "Those who I wish to protect, will suffer if I push myself too far." He said softly to himself. His arms seemed to ache for some reason, and his left one felt too light. A scream tore through the air, breaking Caius out of his thoughts. He looked out his window to see people getting attacked, by these strange black creatures with glowing yellow eyes. Ones that seemed incredibly familiar. He didn't even think about, there was nothing to think about. Caius was out of bed within moments and quickly pulled on his clothes.

He ran out of his house, intent on helping anybody in any way he could. As one of the black creatures leaped up to attack his next door neighbor's daughter, he leaped at it, tackling it to the ground. He could feel the little thing's claws rake across his chest as he pinned it to the ground, but ignored the pain and instead drove a fist into its head. Though it didn't seem to do anything. He had to get up and grab another one away from another person, his attacks still seemed not to do anything. But that wasn't going to stop him from fighting. He'd either find a way to beat them, or make sure he got as many people to safety before he went down.
Alright! We're finally getting things underway!

Name: Ryusuke Takahashi

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Ryusuke has longish red hair with bangs that cover his right eye. Underneath said hair you can see a medical eye patch, which is kind of a permanent thing. The eye you can see is a mix of orange and yellow, very much resembling a flame. He's a little over six feet tall and has a very athletic build. He dresses simply, a jeans and tee-shirts kind of guy, but he is rather fond of his leather jacket so he wears that a lot too. Though what you mostly see him in is his waiter's uniform, as he is currently working at a cafe. He always wears a ring on his right pinky finger, its a simple silver band with the words Big Brother engraved in it. Something that his younger sister gave him a few years ago as a birthday gift.

Personality: Ryusuke is one of those cool types who can brush things off like they were nothing. He keeps his emotions to himself and does very well at keeping things bottled up inside. He almost never smiles, in fact the only expressions you'll see on his face are boredom and indifferent. People mistake his lack of emotion for a lack of motivation, but he's actually a really hard worker. He's stubborn and set in his ways, if he doesn't want to do something, you will not be able to get him to do it. One the other hand if he does want to do something, you can't stop him. He has some trust issues, but is incredibly loyal if you do manage to earn that trust. He doesn't talk much, but when he does you may want to listen, because he usually says something important. He's a good listener if you need to rant a little bit, he doesn't judge and certainly doesn't share secrets. He's rather uncomfortable around large groups of people, but won't usually say anything about it.

If you dig a little bit under his tough outer shell, you'll find that he's an incredibly protective person. Of his family, of his friends, his co-workers. Anybody important to him. He would kill or be killed for any of them. Though if you asked about it he would refuse to admit it. If you dig a little deeper you'll find he has a love of sweets, especially anything strawberry flavored. And dig down just one more time you'll find his soft mushy center, he's one of those people who genuinely cares if he asks how you are doing. He'll remember little details about you or things you've only mentioned once or twice. Even though he has that cool, I don't care attitude, he still pays attention more than people give him credit for.

Bio: Ryusuke was six years old when he got an illness that cost him the sight in his right eye. Two years later the eye had to be removed completely. Though he was scared through the whole thing, he saw how scared his parents were, and put up a brave front. He locked everything away to make his parents feel better. And he's just done so ever since. He got picked on a lot in school for a while, but the teasing eventually stopped. After Ryusuke showed them exactly why he was wearing the eye patch. The only person who was always there for him during the time between getting the illness and the bullying stopping was his little sister. Who was a bit too young to understand what he was going through, at least at first, but still wanted to make him feel better.

High school was even more annoying for him. He didn't get bullied too much, but people kept asking him questions about it. And girls kept flirting with him even though he wasn't interested at all in them. After high school he went straight to working, not bothering with college. Why go through four more years of schooling when he could get a good job now? He got a job at the cafe he still works at, though he is the only male staff other than the manager. The pay isn't super good, but the boss is fair and lets the staff take the day old sweets home for themselves and their families. Him and his friends tend to use the cafe as a meeting area. Because Ryusuke can get them a discount on cupcakes.

Magic: Ryusuke has what is known as Guardian magic. He can create different shields and barriers that can do different things. Such as just block attacks, absorb them, or even bounce them back at the enemy. He can shape the shields how he wants to, though the easiest is a dome shape. Barriers are better for a closed in area. The larger the shield the more tiring it gets. The same goes for keeping one up for long periods of time. One more thing he can do is not heal wounds, but take them from other people. He can either take the entire thing or just part of it. Its great when somebody has a severe wound, that way nobody has to die.

Weapon: Dual short swords.

Strengths:
Speed and Agility: Ryusuke is fast and light on his feet. He can move around quickly and weave his way through obstacles. Whether that be in a battlefield, walking through a forest, or making his way through the cafe at lunch hour.

Strength: Ryusuke has a lot of upper, and lower, body strength. The upper body strength comes from being the only male staff at the cafe and thus he does all the heavy lifting. The lower body strength comes from not having a car and walking everywhere.

Observation: Ryusuke notices a lot more than people think he does. Just because he has that I don't care attitude, doesn't mean he actually doesn't care. He'll notice things that other people miss, or just don't bother paying attention to.

Weaknesses:
Claustrophobia: Ryusuke is severly claustrophobic. Meaning that he does not do well in small or enclosed spaces. Or things like being in the middle of a group, or not being able to see an exit to a room or building. He can usually handle things pretty well, as he is used to being around a lot of people at work. But in really bad situations, like on a subway, he can get really panicky and completely lose his cool. Its part of the reason he walks everywhere.

Technique: He has had no formal weapons training so he would be easily beaten by a well trained fighter. He's obviously never been trained in magic before either, but does better with his magic than he does with his weapon.

Girls: Not in the traditional sense. Ryusuke is an older brother, he can and will not harm a girl who is younger than himself. Unless this girl is trying to kill his friends or family. In which case all bets are off. But he still won't like it. It'll make him feel terrible to be hurting someone who reminds him of his little sister, who he loves dearly.
Sorry about not saying anything sooner. I've been busy but I'll have Cadmus up some time today. By the way, I was just curious. What made you choose me to play him?
Don't worry about it. You obviously had a very good reason for disappearing. I'm ready to start when you are.
I hope not because I got left behind too then.
Though her companions were eager about the job, Lilly still wasn't sure about their payment. But she did trust Adam with her life, and done so in the past. That was one of the things that the other supers didn't understand is that they may have been insane and greedy, but they were like a family. Each of them could trust the other with their lives. Lilly was a support unit, she was built to protect her comrades, not to fight one on one. But in order for her to protect her comrades, they needed to protect her. Something that they had done numerous times in the past. So even though she was reluctant about the job, she still gracefully rose to her feet, ready to take on these mutants. Seeing as Daniel and Adam were already gone, Lilly sent a telepathic message out to the other members of S.U.P.E.D. "I will care of the civilians and wounded heroes. You guys just worry about the mutants."

She strode over to the window and after giving the supers still there a glance, jumped out the window. Focusing her powers on herself, she used her telekinesis as a make shift form of flying. She sent one more message out before getting to work. The one directed at Marcus. "I need you to watch my back while I work. Think you can do that?" She was risking a lot by putting her life in the hands of the sidekick. But it would be a good test for him, see how well he worked knowing that one wrong move could seriously hurt or kill the team's source of healing and protection. She didn't wait for him though, he could find her with the other support units. She landed gracefully next to the shield being maintained by several support units. The one who was organizing everything was a woman who called herself Goddess. Her and Lilly didn't get along very well. But Lilly wasn't one to take orders from somebody with less power than her anyway.

The large shield contained civilians and injured heroes. It was a make shift base of sorts. Lilly placed a hand on the shield and felt its power. They didn't need her here, everything was covered. Looks like she would be going into the heart of the battlefield, healing people enough to make it safe to move them, and getting them out of there. It was by far the most dangerous thing a support unit could do. And Lilly loved it. But before she moved into the fray, she paused and gave Marcus a few minutes to catch up and find her. Tracking his aura to see where he was. If he didn't get there in the next thirty seconds or so, she was going to have to go in without somebody watching her back.
Name: Lyren Silverwind
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Race: Water Elemental
Race Information: Elementals are mostly humanoid creatures who have perfect control over a single element. Elementals of different types have different traits that allow them to better use their elemental. Water Elementals have nearly invisible gills on the side of neck allowing them to breath underwater. These gills close up on land so that they can also breath above water. Elementals hair and eyes are the same color as the element they wield. Each element has a strength and a weakness and these carry into the bodies of the Elementals. A Water Elemental can resist fire attacks, but takes extra damage from lightning attacks. There is a substance called Celebeam that is deadly to Elementals. Celebeam is a metal like substance, it can be turned into powder or melted. In metal form just being near it will make Elementals weak or ill. In powder form it can be inhaled, depending on the amount it will either make them weak or ill, knock them out, or kill them outright. In liquid form it can be splashed on an Elemental to burn them, or injected to cause agony, or again kill outright. It has been used to torture Elementals in times of war, making them wary of other races. Another weakness, exclusive to the Water Elementals is that they get really weak and dizzy in hot weather, as everything is so dry.

Appearance:

Lyren has long dark blue hair and matching eyes. He's about 6 feet tall and has a thin, graceful build. He usually wears the outfit in the picture above. Along with a small, blue, crystal pendant on a silver chain that he wears around his neck. All of his clothing is made of a special material that is made to resist getting wet and dries quickly when it does. Like a hyrid between swimsuit material and a duck's feathers.

Personality: Lyren likes to stay on the quiet side and would prefer being alone to having company, especially company involving lots of people. Stubborn to a fault and a fighter to the core, you'll never see him give in without a fight. He's elegant and graceful in almost everything he does. He's observant and detail oriented, he'll noticed things that most people don't think to look at. He tends to make decisions based on his heart, not his head, making him a bit reckless. Despite his recklessness he's actually pretty smart, he just doesn't use his brain as much as he should. He's sneaky too, one minute he'll be this quiet, forgettable thing sitting next to you, and suddenly you're wallet, keys, cellphone, and pants are gone and you never noticed. Not that Lyren steals things, but he's just one of those people who you don't think to check when something does go missing. He's trustworthy and loyal, though does have some issues trusting other people. He's also very protective of those he cares about and would kill or be killed for them in a heartbeat.

Bio: Lyren is the son of one of the Elemental leaders, obviously the water one. As such he has gotten a lot more interaction with the other races than a lot of Elementals. Who are still recovering from the constant hatred and wars from the past. Elementals haven't been treated kindly in the past, but in the past one hundred years thing have gotten better. Lyren's natural affinity with water has made him want to be a mage. So he is being sent to Crescent Academy by his father. Not only because of his desire to be a mage, but to further increase the Elementals' relations with the other races. Though Lyren doesn't know that he is being used like that.

Powers: Lyren, being a Water Elemental has a natural affinity for water elemental magic. It can be used for many different things and Lyren can even change the temperature of the water if he concentrates enough. Though as soon as it becomes steam or ice, he loses control of it, then it belongs to Wind and Ice Elementals. His magic grows stronger if their is a natural source of water nearby, not like a sink or a bathtub and grows weaker when there isn't any. Being an Elemental, his body kind of does the same thing. Though he can function as long as their is moisture in the air, on really hot, dry days he can barely muster the strength to move.

Other: Being so close to the water, Lyren doesn't eat seafood. As it is nearly eating his own kind. Even just the smell or sight of cooked fish makes him ill.
I'm not very good at playing non humanoid characters. But if we can't find anyone else to play them I will.
Nah, their magic is more simple than that. And until they train for many years, much less powerful.
