Sorry, I don't have a skype and don't plan on making one. I also don't have a facebook. I'm not big on social media.
After a little while the raid party left the cafe. They hadn't had much luck on getting anybody else. So they would just meet up with the other front liners at the camp. Right now Mitsuru was paired up with Abel and one other person. They had split off into groups of three for now, things may change when they get to the camp. Every boss fight Mitsuru had been in, the moment the raid entered the boss room, they had to watch and some idiot who wanted the drops died. Did people not understand that this was a death game? The drops didn't matter as long as the bosses were beaten. The only thing that was important was getting out of the game and back into the real world. Though she did have a couple of friends in game, none of her real world friends had made it in. So she was completely alone in that sense.

A soft sigh escaped her lips as the raid party was attacked by a group of monsters on the way to the tower. One of them was some sort of winged creature. "I got the flying one!" She called to the rest of the people as the fighting began. She had fought with some of, if not all, of these people before. And her reputation as a Dragoon was pretty good. So nobody argued. With a battle cry, she ran at the flying creature, her spear grasped lightly in her right hand. When she got close enough she leaped into the air, the flying enemy seemed rather confused as his prey was suddenly at eye level with him. She drove her spear straight into his torso and let gravity do the rest, bending her knees to absorb the impact as they hit the ground. The creature shattered and died from the combined damage of her spear and the ground.

The victory screen popped up shortly after as the rest of the monsters were taken care of. She didn't get any drops from the flying creature, but the money and experience was decent. At the very least she worked on her acrobatics skill.

Nothing else happened on their way to the tower. They met up with the rest of the front lines and set up their own section of the camp. Away from the guilds. The group Mitsuru was with was made up of people who didn't belong to guilds yet. After plans were set, the groups that hadn't entered the tower yet did so. Once they got to the boss room they would wait for the other groups. Nobody would go in unless everybody was there. It wasn't worth risking your life for a little extra loot. Those were the types of people Mitsuru hated most. Yeah, she was reckless, but she wasn't stupid. Her and the rest of the raid group began to make their way through the tower, searching for the boss room and fighting everything that came their way.
Lyren looked at the other newbie when she introduced herself. He took her hand and shook it. "I'm Lyren. Likewise." He said with a small smile. He turned his attention back to the Guildmaster as he began to speak. He experienced a very confusing mix of emotions in a very short period of time. Confusion and excitement as the Guildmaster said he was accepted. Horror, fear, and confusion and the man mentioned his Dark Make. And he didn't remember ever telling him about it. He kind of just went numb when the paperwork was turned into confetti. His brain was trying to register what was happening. From what he had seen already, he wasn't too sure about the whole nobody judged anybody part.

It wasn't until the Guildmaster smacked him on his bare shoulder that his brain began to work again. And he felt sheer joy at being accepted. He was finally part of a guild, a real guild not a Dark Guild. He wasn't sure where he wanted his Fairy Tail mark to be, somewhere visible. Maybe an arm? He knew he wanted it to be blue though. "How?" He asked when the Guildmaster asked if they had any questions. "How did you know about my magic? I don't remember saying anything about it." He wanted ask another question but left it unspoken. Because he didn't really want to know the answer. Just how much did this man know about him, and his past?
My character hasn't!
Relief went through Lyren as the Guildmaster broke up the fight. He made a mental note not to get on the man's bad side. Which he may be doing by revealing his dark magic. He shuddered at the thought. It was amazing how much respect the people had for him though. When instructed to do so, Lyren followed after the Guildmaster and the new recruit. Here it was, the time when it would be decided whether he would have a chance at being part of a Guild, or be doomed to forever walk alone. As there was no way the Magic Council would allow him to start his own guild, regardless of how strong he could get.

He flexed his right hand and forced himself to relax. Letting the pulsing of the magic rune calm him, at least somewhat. As he entered the Guildmaster's office he noticed tha the desk looked a bit worse for wear. He wondered why it hadn't been replaced yet, but assumed that it held some sort of sentimental value. Or, you know, not. He took a seat on one of the chairs at the desk, sitting up straight and trying to look as confident as he usually felt. It was hard to do that when your life was going to completely change within the next few minutes. And he didn't know what direction it would going in.
Everything seemed so lively at the guild and everybody seemed like family. It very different from all the other guilds he had gone to. They were more professional and less friendly. Maybe Lyren did have a chance of finally finding a guild. One guild member burst through the door with some sort of frozen hunk of meat in his arms. Another loud noise sounded and his first instinct was to arm himself. But he stopped himself from doing so as a girl popped out from under the table and announced that she was a new recruit. Everybody seemed so nice and friendly, teasing each other and having some loud fun. If Lyren hadn't been so nervous, and wasn't trying to make a good impression, he would have some how joined in.

One of the guild members sat down at the table next to him and introduced himself. Then warned him about another member stealing his food. Before he could be polite and introduce himself another guild member sat down on his other side. He introduced himself and told Lyren what his magic was. He also held a hand out for Lyren to shake. He knew it would be the polite thing to state him magic as well, but being between two members of the guild he was trying to get into was a bit intimidating, even with his fighter personality. He was about to introduce himself, when suddenly the table was removed from in front of him. He turned to look and saw a rather large fist flying at Kai, and himself. He cursed under his breath and began to move when Jason simply tackled him to the ground. He could have dodged himself, but there was something about Jason protecting him that made him happy. It had been a long time since anybody had done that for him.

He climbed to his feet after Jason got off of him. He took a few steps back so that he wasn't in the way of the confrontation. This reminded him of Crimson Tear, they were always fighting each other at the Dark Guild. He had been forced to kill his fellow guild members on more than one occasion. And while he didn't want to get into this fight, he would if he had to. He splayed the fingers of his right hand out and prepared to create his Dark Whip if needed. He hated showing his dark magic before having the chance to talk to the Guildmaster, but it wasn't in his nature to stand by and let other people get hurt.
Lyren could feel his heart pounding in his chest. Even over the constant, steady, pulse of the magic rune that usually blocked it out. He was standing in front of the guild called Fairy Tail. It was literally his last hope. Every other guild had rejected him for one of two reasons. The first being that he had ties to a Dark Guild. The second being that his magic specialty was Dark Make, which was done using dark energy. He didn't have a choice in the matter, his father had trained him in it since he had been born. And it wasn't like he was going to go insane because of it, the magic rune prevented him from being taken over by it. The one good thing his father had done for him. He took one more deep breath and prayed to whatever gods existed before opening the door.

Lyren tried to maintain an air of confidence as he entered the guild. But that was hard to do when every person present was suddenly staring at you. He thought his heart was going to beat out of his chest, but just barely managed to keep his bad boy persona up. He was sure that at least one person in the guild could sense the dark energy coursing through him, there was always at least one. Most of the guild members seemed to recognize him from the one other time he had been in Fairy Tail. When he had asked to join. But now was the hard part, talking to the Guildmaster and trying to get them to let you join. He had been through this before at other guilds, and it was always where things had gone wrong.

Lyren lingered by the door for a few moments. Not sure what he was suppose to do now, every guild was different. Until somebody directed him to sit down at an empty table and wait for the other recruits. So he did so, absentmindedly playing with his long, dark blue, hair as he waited. He remembered when the pulsing of the rune had been annoying, as a child he had cried because of it more than once. But now it was strangely comforting and he couldn't imagine it not being there.
It had been about two months since Mitsuru found herself trapped in the game Sword Art Online. She remembered the fear and the chaos that had been at the beginning. But now things had settled down at bit. People had been united together in order to fight through the floors and make it to the top. She was one of the ones who was on the front lines. As a self proclaimed Dragoon, she was one of the few fighters who could take down flying enemies with ease. Acrobatics was her highest skill and her spear made it easy to drive them down to the ground. She had been stoked to find that there were no classes in the game, customization was her favorite part of any game. And there weren't enough games that had a spear class that focused more on speed and agility than raw power.

Though she had paired up with people plenty of times in the past, she still hadn't found a guild that was right for her. She wished her friends had gotten copies to so they could play the game together and make their own guild, but at the same time she was glad that they hadn't. There was no saying how many of them would have died by this point. And she couldn't bear the thought of not being able to protect them. She is protective by nature and would have certainly tried to save them all with reckless abandon. It was miracle she had survived this long because of it. She really needed to find a good tank to pair up with. You could only get lucky for so long in this game.

She stepped into the cafe on floor 20 with a group of people. They were all going to be part of the fight against the boss and decided to use the cafe as their meeting place. So far there wasn't enough people to attempt the boss and they were hoping to get more before they went. The cafe was popular, hence why they chose it. Currently she wasn't partied up with anybody. They had a bunch of raw power and speed fighters, but no tanks. She wanted to party up with a tank. Or at least somebody who fought more defensively. Even if they didn't get a good tank, she'd have to pair up with somebody. She wasn't a loner, her style and personality just wouldn't allow it.

Understandably a lot of people didn't want to fight and risk their lives. All sorts of people played games. But Mitsuru just couldn't understand sitting on your ass and relying on other people to do your work for you. She was a risk taking anyway and the thought of danger thrilled her. "Hey, Farore right?" One of the males at her table said. "I'm not just saying this because you're one of the few girls on the raid, but do you want to join my party?"

Mitsuru thought that it was adorable that he added in the part about her gender. She also really liked it that he was seeing her as a fighter not a woman. So she smiled at him. "I want to see what we're going to have before I party up with anybody. But you'll be first on my list when the times comes, how about that?"

The male smiled back at her. "Sounds great. I'm Abel. I love your name by the way, I get the reference and think it suits your appearance."

Mitsuru fingered her long green hair. "Thanks! My friends say that I have a lot of courage, and you know the green hair. I use it as my name in all the games I play."

"Well when we get out of this game I'll have to look for you in other games too."

The of them continued to chat while they waited for the raid leader to announce they were leaving. Mitsuru wasn't hungry at the moment so she did order anything. She didn't like to eat right before a battle anyway.
Okay thanks. I saw somthing about floor 17 in another post so I just wanted to make sure.
So before I finish my post I just wanna make sure. What floor is the boss on? And what floor is the cafe on? I'm confuzzled.
