I can make a second character if you like. I'm dying to do a character from the Land of Dragons after all the talk about it. I know for a fact that I can handle more than one character at a time.
Interested! I call an Elvish bodyguard. Also I will be making a few changes to the character sheet for myself. All the information will still be there, its just going to be a little easier for me to keep track of things.
I'm still here and ready to go!
I finally have a character up! My excuses for having taken so long is a busy week, a newly adopted two month old puppy, and I couldn't come up with anything good.

Name: Fira Aegis

Age: 18

Appearance:

Fira has chin length black hair and stony gray eyes. She's about five foot six with a lean build. There isn't a lot of muscle on her, but there's isn't any fat either. Her skin is fair in color and mostly unblemished. The only markings marring it are an anti-demon tattoo place over her heart, a scar on her stomach from where she got her appendix removed, and an X shaped scar on her right shoulder blade. While all members of the Aegis clan before her were born with blonde hair and blue eyes, she was different, and everybody after her has those exotic dark looks. This will be explained more in the history section. Her favorite color is purple and is always seen wearing it. Whether in her casual wear, battle wear, or formal wear.

Personality: Fira is an avid reader and loves to learn. Every spare minute she has is spent in some book or another. She's hard working and loves to help people. She's friendly and outgoing but doesn't like to talk your ear off, she knows when to talk and when not to. While she may not care about the subject, she's one of those people who will actually listen to you and most of the time remember what you say. She's stubborn and set in her ways, if she thinks she can do something, she will. But on the other side, if she doesn't think she can do something, its very hard to convince her otherwise. She isn't modest, but she isn't a slut either. She just doesn't care if she shows a little skin, as long as everything that's suppose to be is covered. She tends to wear her heart on her sleeve, its really easy to tell how she's feeling at any given moment. While she is an excellent liar, she doesn't do it very often and usually an honest person.

While you can usually find her in a good mood, due to the fact that she finds the positive in everything, her bad moods are scary. Especially during that time of the month. She's gets angry much easier during this time, and can also be easily offended. You can really hurt her during this time, as she will take everything you say about her seriously. And despite the fact that she wears her heart on her sleeve, she never cries in front of anybody. And its almost impossible to tell if you're upsetting her until its too late. She doesn't get loud when she gets mad, she's one of those people who gets quiet. But the look on her face tells you that she is silently plotting your horrible and painful death.

Weapons: An enchanted longbow, that she can summon at will, in which she shoots holy arrows made from her own magical abilities. A short sword made purely of silver that is always on her person. Three glass vials, one with holy water, one with liquid silver, and the last with a very potent healing potion.

Abilities:
Sight, not only does Fira have excellent vision, but she also has the ability to see that which most others can't see. The lines of power that run through a place. Invisible protective wards. Spirits that hide from hunters. And many other things. Its not something that she can turn off and it used to freak her out, but she's adjusted to it by now. If you ever see her staring off into the distance, she's looking at something you probably can't see.

Sniping, Fira is a very good sniper, she's much better hitting from a distance than being up close in a fight. Her holy arrows can smite just about any type of monster. But the stronger ones can most definitely resist it. She can't kill most things in one shot unless she hits a vital.

Resistance, because of her naturally holy aura, the anti-demon spell on her heart, and her stubborn will, Fira is able to resist dark magic and demonic temptations. Its nearly impossible for her to taken over by anything short of a Greater Demon.

Knowledge, Fira reads, a lot. Fiction, non-fiction, scriptures, lore books. You name it. Because she's read so much, she knows a lot about many different types of monsters. How to beat them, how to treat wounds inflicted by them. She may not be able to pull off most of the stuff she reads about. But she can guide you through the process and tell you how.

Healing, short of first aid, Fira isn't too useful in this category. But her holy aura can help her purify darkness in wounds and keep somebody alive long enough for them to get proper care.

Backstory: Fira was born into the Aegis clan. For thousands of years the Aegis have been pure, holy warriors, priests, etc. During those thousands of years they stayed pure, using their holy powers to assist others in the fight against darkness. But something happened during the most recent generation. Fira's mother married somebody who didn't have pure holy energy. And their daughter wasn't born with normal blonde hair and blue eyes of the clan. Her hair was black and her eyes were gray. Every child born after her was born with the same features. Tainting the once pure line. Those born with the dark features can still use the holy abilities of the clan, but not nearly at the same level as those born before. It will take many years to get back the level of purity they once had. Fira's parents were expelled from the family because of what they did. And Fira was never treated the same as the only children. Even among the ones with dark features she was treated poorly. Because even though she didn't have any control over it, she was the first. She trained harder and longer than any other child to make up for it. Growing stronger and stronger as she got older. When she reached the age of sixteen she was allowed on her first hunting job and proved to the clan that she was just as strong as the pure members of the clan. So when Alistair contacted them about needing a hunter, she was the obvious choice for the job. Either she would help them in the fight, or die, it was a win win for the Aegis clan.
He's a terrier mix. Aka, a mutt. Since he came from a shelter we took him to a vet today. And found out that he has an upper respiratory infection, kennel cough, and tapeworms. The poor baby needs lots of TLC.
Because I interacted with them in my last post.
I'm still here! And still waiting for a few people before I make my next post.
So I may not be on quite as much as I usually am. Me and my family just adopted a two month old puppy from the SPCA. So yeah. I'll be on as much as I can but that kind of changes things.
No, no, you're totally right. I was just so focused on other aspects I forgot to bring that up. Thank you for adding to my obsessive rant.
Okay. I'm going to be a bitchy co-gm/martial artist/Asian culture fanatic for a moment. The Land of the Dragons is ancient China. Aside from Mushu how many dragons do we actually see there? None. So I'm a hugely iffy on that aspect. If it was China they would not have katanas, or samurai swords as you wrongly called them. The samurai and the ninja are Japanese. China has monks. They would have Chinese broad swords, which look like this.

It is China's equivalent of the samurai sword. And finding the samurai sword wouldn't work either. Japan and China didn't have good relations and they wouldn't be sharing weaponry with each other. And I don't care if its just a roleplay of a video game series. Disney did a freaking fantastic job of getting the details right in both Mulan and Kingdom Hearts. I've actually been to the palace in China and I can tell you it looks exactly like that in real like. Down to the ceiling tiles outside the entrance. If you're going to use a world based on a movie that get's the details right. You better get them right too. Especially if you're going to use China and have me in your roleplay.
