Lucio shivered and wrapped his cloak tighter around his thin frame. That was one of the bad things about being so lean, there was no extra layers to protect you from the cold. It just seeped straight into your core. Flexing his fingers against the cold, the half-elf frowned. It would be hard to play tonight when he couldn't feel his fingers all too well. Well he still had his voice, the cold couldn't take that unless his teeth were chattering. Which hopefully they wouldn't inside the warmth of an inn. But for the first time in a long time, he wasn't here for entertaining others. He was here for business.

Like always, his peace loving self and protective nature conflicted when he received a letter from a group of mercenaries known as the Crimson Company. And unfortunately the stubborn side usually agreed with the protective nature. And thus, here he was, accepting the invitation to join the mercenaries and leave his relatively peaceful existence as a bard behind. At least for the moment. He could always go back to being nothing but a simple bard.

Lucio paused in front of the Spotless Rock Inn making certain that this was the place in the letter. Satisfied that he was at the right place, the half-elf replaced the letter and opened the door. There wasn't much activity inside, or people for that matter. It was a very sad scene for a bar. When Lucio was around, bars were lively and full of singing and laughter. He just might have to change that. Nearly every eye in the place turned to him when he entered. People seemed to just know that he was an entertainer. He just had an aura of fun about him. He stood in the doorway for a moment scanning the room. He found the man he was looking for easily enough. It was pretty obvious who it was.

Before approaching the man, he turned to the bartender and the bar maiden and gave them an exaggerated bow. The bar maiden giggled, but the bartender just scowled, apparently not a fan of Lucio's type. It was only then that the bard made his way over to the man dressed in armor. "I take it you're from the Crimson Company?" He said while taking a seat at the table. "My name is Lucio Freedan, I'm a traveling bard. Though I'm afraid I can't play you anything at the moment." Lucio held up his hands and wiggled his fingers. "My fingers are half frozen from the cold."
Finally! Its done.
The Aegis clan. A family of holy warriors with the purest of auras. For centuries they kept their purity, fighting the dark forces and helping those in need. Until a single mistake happened and cost them their purity. Fira's mother married an unpure man, and they had a child. Who, unlike every other member of the clan, was born with dark features and not the light ones the Aegis were known for. Even though it wasn't her fault she was still treated differently. Because she was the first. Though cruel, Fira had no choice but to take it. Just like the element she was named after, her spirit kept burning. The cruelty and insults simply spurred her into fighting harder. And she certainly proved herself. So when the summons came for a young warrior from their clan, they choice was obvious. Because whether she lived or died, they no longer had to deal with her.

Fira was currently dressed in her battle gear, though not a single weapon could be seen on her. On the way to the town mentioned in the letter she had been stopped three times. Twice to do a purification and once an exorcism. And being alone had made it hard to sleep on the road, as there wasn't always a town nearby she could stay at. More often than not it was huddle under something and hope you weren't attacked. So needless to say, she was pretty tired. But she just kept at it knowing she was almost there. It would have been nice to have somebody to travel with, but only one from her clan was needed.

That was the nice thing about having her dark features, other than the fact that she thought they were pretty, nobody knew she was from the Aegis clan. All they knew was that she had a holy aura. Unfortunately that also meant that evil creatures knew as well. Luckily she didn't have much to worry about on her journey, but she had run into a few fights.

But now she was in town, humming lightly as she wandered, not really knowing where to go. But she knew if she kept walking, she'd find something eventually. She had walked this far, what was a little more? It was a good test of her endurance, which honestly she could work on a little bit. She was much better at sniping from a distance than close range combat.

Instead of looking in front of her, Fira's eyes drifted off to the left. Following the spirit of a little boy, playing with another spirit, this one a little girl. They didn't even realize that they were dead. Ah the peaceful existence of children. Even dead ones. Because she wasn't looking where she was going, she suddenly found herself crashing face first into a pole. Staggering back a few steps, she clutched her nose, hoping it wasn't broken.
After looking at other people's character sheets, I realized that Lucio didn't have a bedroll, which is kind of important. I have added that to my character sheet.
I haven't abandon this. Still working on my post/life has been hectic. I will have it up today.
I'm still here, just waiting until a few more people post before I do again.
Whoops. My bad. I'll fix that.

Fixed, wasn't thinking about his entire lifespan when I put his age.
Finally its done! I'm pretty satisfied with him, but let me know if anything needs changed.

Finally posted! Ugh sorry about the wait but unfortunately that stupid little thing called life comes first.

Life sucks.
Feli was glad somebody was willing to help him and not just stare at him like he was an idiot. He accepted the hand that Victor held out to him and shook it. Grateful that he didn't need to move his injured shoulder and upper arm much. Though didn't know that Victor had done it on purpose. "I'm Feli Narunai, also a new tenant." Though an unwilling one. But he just left that part out, it would be better that way. Too many questions would have been asked. A very... odd looking and smelling girl wanted to help too, since neither of them knew where to find supplies. And suddenly him and Victor were being dragged off to somewhere. The girl rummaged around in a tiny room that was far too full to actually live it. It must have just been for storage.

Lysol? What was that? Feli had a feeling that he didn't want to know. It sounded very man made and not natural at all. But if that's what it took to get the ink cleaned up, then Feli would have to endure it. It seemed that the strange girl didn't know what she was going either. Well between the three of them, they'd figure it out. He lead them out to where the ink spill was. "So um, now what?" He said awkwardly.

Suddenly three people entered the room. One of them completely ignored the group trying to figure out the ink situation. Feli easily heard what the girl said in kitchen. Attacked? Didn't they have bodyguards? That was why he was here after all. The landlord didn't exactly have everything figured out did he? The other two who left seemed injured, judging from the smell of blood and the fact that one was unconscious. They almost smelled heavily of rain, which was odd considering that he hadn't heard or smelled the rain.
