Llyr was glad to see Robert putting on a smile. Whether he was faking it or not, the squid couldn't really tell. Not that it bothered him all that much. It wasn't long before a girl, who was much smaller than Robert and himself, came over and sat with them. Llyr merely raised an eyebrow in intrigue as the girl, who he now knew as 'Cian', stuttered to an extreme when speaking to him, but then spoke more coherently to the redhead. Perhaps a little bit of Faunus prejudice? Sounded common enough. However the squid Faunus could tell that she didn't want to seem rude or anything of the sort. Thus, he decided to forgive her for such transgressions.

Just uncomfortable around Faunus? Perhaps. Let's make her feel welcome. He moved closer to Cian, staring at her intently, scatching his chin as though he was thinking of what to do. "MYNAMEISLLYRPLEASEDTOMEETYOUTOO!!", he exclaimed with some intensity, giving the smaller girl a cheeky grin. Imitation is a form of bonding, right? "You should relax, sweetie. I am just a mere Cephalopod, not a Grimm in Faunus form~!" He said in a smooth tone, giving her a gentle head pat. His voice could've been likened to honey or butter. So smooth.

'Both are delicious..' The squid thought to himself.

A Collab between @Guess Who and I

The moment the other boy pulled at his tentacles was the moment Llyr backpedaled, a fairly amused grin had spread across his face as the boy interrogated him. ”Not so much help me, but help yourself, my good man!”, the Faunus replied, bringing his face uncomfortably close to the red headed boy’s.

Llyr wouldn’t be able to get too close before he’d feel Robert’s hand push against his chest, keeping him out of his personal space. “I don’t need help. Just leave me alone and save yourself the trouble,” the redhead replied before he began to turn back toward the front of the class.

The squid straightened himself as the other boy pushed him away, his eyebrow raised. How intriguing indeed. ”Relax! Relax! Humour this child of the ocean for just a moment~! Take a look around! What do you see?”, he asked excitedly, throwing his hands forward and gesturing to all the little groups of people in the class. ”I see plenty of fish in the sea~”, he continued, giving the redhead a wink.

“She- she didn’t… What do you care? You don’t know me. You don’t know what I’ve had to put up with for the last week. Just leave me alone… whoever you are,” Robert said, his defenses barely scratched, though progress had been made. For just a moment there, a small tiny moment, his overwhelming anger and frustration from all of the recent curve balls life had given him had subsided.

At this point, Llyr decided to take a seat next to the redhead, his head resting on his hand as he looked intently at the other boy. ”Strangers make the best of company, my fiery friend. For only strangers can become your friends~”, he responded in a dramatic voice before continuing,. ”Now enounce unto me, who may this maiden be?”

Robert let out a sigh as he reclined in his chair, looking up toward the ceiling of the classroom. “Her name’s Priscilla. We’d been dating for… I don’t know. I should have been keeping track, but days have all just been blurring together recently, with each new morning bringing some new trouble for me to deal with. It was just a little bit after the school year started. The point is though, after she had disappeared for awhile, she finally came back from wherever she had gone… Only to tell me that same day that she was moving away with her family. We’re still going to keep in touch, try the whole long distance thing, but it’s just… I just got her back and now she’s gone again. All just feels so unfair,” he rambled on, giving a quick summary of his relationship troubles to the stranger. And he never even mentioned everything else that had been weighing on his poor mind.

Llyr merely sat there and listened as the other boy rambled on about his misadventures with a maiden named ‘Priscilla’. The squid wouldn’t mind seeing who this Priscilla person is, but the chances of meeting them were slim as the boy mentioned their long distance complication. ”The past is the past~ There’s no need to dwell on what has gone by.” He responded in a solemn tone, which was quite a contrast to the way he was previously acting. The grin on his face reappeared, ”So live! Live in the moment. The Grimm don’t wait for you, and your team certainly won’t either! Make life your bitch!” Llyr suddenly exclaimed dramatically as he stood up, planting his foot on the edge of the desk and pointing into the sky.. Or rather the ceiling.

At this point, Robert realized that this was a very strange classmate, since he had been much too oblivious to have noticed it before. Despite his weirdness though, he understood what the message Llyr had been trying to give him, even if it really didn’t need the obscenity. The young boy wasn’t sure how well he could actually let go of his past, learn to deal with what had happened and move on, but he did know that talking about his problem had helped him feel a lot better, at least better than just violently taking his aggression out on some poor Grimm. “Yeah, maybe I will. Maybe I won’t. We’ll see,” he finally replied, a small smirk forming at the corner of his mouth. “Say, what’s your name? I don’t think we’ve talked before.”

It would appear that Llyr’s version of a pep talk had somehow worked on this gloomy boy, there was no need for him to pry any further. The young squid spied a slight smirk on their face as well. ”Llyr Owen is the name! Today will be my first day in this academy. Pray you introduce yourself as well, my friend!”, He replied with a warm smile.

“Robert Fallson. It’s good to meet you,” the boy said, extending a hand toward Llyr’s direction to shake on it. “I’d also like to say sorry for how I acted when you first came over. That was uncalled for by me.”

Llyr looked at the Robert’s hand for a moment before leaning forward, his face weirdly close to the other boy’s hand. A single tentacle shuffling out of the Faunus’ hair, wrapping itself around the redhead’s hand before making a handshake-like movement. ”A pleasure, Robbie.” Llyr gave Robert a playful smirk as he assumed his original posture, the small tentacle retracting back into his blond hair. ”Don’t sweat the small things, my friend! We all feel Grimm at times~” He laughed.

'And so the Prince had to decide. Was he to follow his heart? Or was he to follow the laws and expectations of his kingdom? "Father, I mu-"' Just as she got the the good part of the book, a voice pierced the wonderful silence that she had experienced for the past few minutes. Rauha looked up from her book, only to see the Bishop of the town's church. "It's.. afternoon though, Father." She remarked wittily, giving the Bishop a cheeky smirk. She had always thought of him as a strange fellow, but he seemed nice enough. But even then, she didn't really like it when people interrupted her reading time.

"What brings you out here? Shouldn't you be.. preparing a sermon or something?" She inquired. She wasn't much of a religious person, so she didn't attend services very often. It's not that she didn't respect the Goddess, it's just that she didn't think her prayers do anything since it was more of a farmer thing. Or she just assumed it was a farmer thing. Who knows.

Alya for the most part studied each person's body language, attempting to understand how they felt at this current moment. She couldn't pick up on anything because her social skills were as adept as a solitary animal. The woman who introduced herself as 'Oriel' had offered an interesting proposition. Something that the Huntress was quite intrigued by. The customs of those who are unlike herself. So far, nobody had offered to help her understand their culture, so hearing this from a fellow knight was quite nice. "I would love that, Oriel!" She responded in a cheerful tone, sitting next to her in the wagon.

As the other's introduced themselves, the Knight of Lightning moved toward the wagon.. But suddenly fell over dead with a good amount of arrows in his back. Upon seeing this, she immediately unhooked her blow gun from her belt, loading a dart into it. She got out of her seat, her stance low to the ground. The crowds had begun to scream and start to stampede out of the city center. Complete chaos.
"What a strange custom you city folk have!", Alya laughed in a cynical manner. The sight of a fallen comrade did little to her psyche. Death was a common thing. Only the strong survive.

Alya was the first to respond to Arno's suggestion, hopping out of the wagon. There was something strange on the wind. In an instant she side stepped and snatched an arrow out the air mid flight. She glanced over at Telius as she tossed the arrow aside. "My weapons don't have that kind of range. But I will go hunt them down." She replied firmly before dashing off toward the direction from which the arrows came, as if she didn't hear the second part of Telius' sentence. She wasn't going to use Akash to fly, as that would make her an easier target. The huntress wanted to use the stampeding crowd as a form of concealment.

Weaving through the waves of people, she progressed toward where she thought the enemy to be, being sure to keep her body low and difficult to target. As she moved, she released Akash from it's tattoo form. "Be my eyes." She commanded. The falcon soared into the sky, searching for the assailants.

@Guess Who

"Join Beacon Academy!" She said. "It'll be fun!" She said. His mother was always one to be brimming with optimism. It was the kind of optimism that was infectious and convinced you to go do things. Llyr had to admit though, trying new things was always fun. Meeting new people was even better, especially their varied expressions. However, being a Faunus usually led to altercations with the human folk... Not that he minded it all that much. Perhaps his mother had signed him up for this academy to try rid him of his 'morbid' personality, but that would go against mother's old mantra of "Mummy loves you just the way you are!" Something often said when he was a child.

It's not that Llyr was anti-social. He was just really, really weird. For example, right now, he's skipping to class after a wonderful three periods of things he didn't give a rat's ass about. Next period. Grimm Studies! Because Armory sounded too much like Weapon maintenance. He had a cane that turned into a whip. What's so difficult to maintain? Better off learning about Grimm so he can mess around with them in a more amusing way!

As he arrived at the classroom, he noticed other students going in and out of the door. The entrance! He sprinted towards it and did a BARREL ROLL! Through the door, smoothly getting back onto his feet after the feat was done. He inspected the room. It was big enough. 'For what?' You may ask... For anything, really. Aside from the other students blabbing with each other, he noticed a lone boy. A red haired one at that. He looked all gloomy and.. shitty. TIME TO GO MESS WITH HIM!

Silently, he got up on a desk, walking along them like a footpath. The squid hopped off a desk, landing behind the gloomy boy. He leaned in close enough to the boy's ear, the tentacles in his hair slowly creeping around their head. Suddenly, the tentacles slapped and grasped at both the boy's cheeks. "RISE AND SHINE! THE MOON'S OUT AND THE GRIMM ARE FRESH FOR THE PICKING!!", Llyr exclaimed excitedly before laughing as if someone had made the most fantastic joke ever.
