I wonder if I should scrap the AU elements as well as the Wild West and keep it in a more or less faithfull rendition of the Meiji era. Thoughts?
The walls are a dreary grey, the air is damp and smell of blood and tears and, most of all, you can't leave. You are in a Quarantine after surviving a dreadful plague, and you are cut from the world, save for a single cage where dwells birds of prey trained to gather and deliver packages and letters of all sorts. It is an awful fate, to ive there for the rest of your life... but what if you were able to change it? Art and Science are emerging after the Darkness, and you, my friend, are a young and brilliant individual capable of innovation and creativity.

Make your world, as glum and constricting as it is, as you will, and remember that innovation will bring both salvation of the soul and fortune of the mind and body. Other may be your allies, some your rivals or even enemies, but you must prevail. You were given simple quarters and ten items of your choice along with nourishment to do as you will for this first month, persevere and paradise may already be here.

This will be a cooperative, competitive and creative free for all with advanture, wold and culture building as well as a strict letter only interactive tale where you will be taking the role of a plague survivor that struggles to make it as the next Da Vinci. There will be plenty to do, and only a lifetime to do it all, so get down to it!

Each day will be a sole activity, spanning from planning or sending messages to finishing a fresco or building your latest mechanical masterpiece. The whole keep will be customisable with enough effort, so get creative!
No one?
C'mon, it'll be fun!
Also, cookies for the first who shows interest!
Yes, I am bribing you, people.
The Rush will attract lots of different people, and things will quickly get rowdy, with prospector fighting for land, countries for ressources and with that outlaws and contraband will flourish in the wasteland that will become Japan. Yakuza will mingle into a cowboy lookalike and okiyas will become half saloon, half tea houses.
Yes, think of it as an action-packed collective biography as the character starts really young.
I had this idea earlier and want to give it a shot;

In a world where petrolum never became a thing and coal still rule as king of fuels, you are a young girl in Nippon, also known to the outside world as Japan, when a strange new fuel known as Crystaleum was discovered in your country, making the Crystaleum Rush, as it will be called in the future, start right under Tokyo and prompting the country to be torn apart by greed, your parents either dying or selling you off for the addictive new fuel. Devastated and scared, you ended up lucky enough in your misfortune to be taken in by a stuggling okiya (a geisha house) as one of their apprentices, not being aware, as you are still young and naive, that things are not as they appear. Indeed, you are now apprenticed to one of the last remaining ninja clans of the kingdom, comprised only of females, and will now start your life as both an entertainer, a spy, and an assassin.

You goal is to survive, along with your clan, at any cost in this changing world where ancient japanese customs clash with victorian industrialism and the harsh whispers of corruption. This will be hard, you will struggle every step of the way but, perhaps, by doing so, you may find balance. So enter the madness and do not look back.

Tales of Javesca is set at the start of a Renaissance-like era where the fledgeling fortress/merchant city of Javesca is just starting to flourish. You will first incarnate a young adult of twenty years (the lifespan being sixty in average) that just settled there with two plots of lands, one for their new home and another to do as they wish. This will be a free roaming adventure, where your choices will shape not only your character and his or her descendants and their spouse(s), but the whole city at large.

There are many things to do, first of all getting comfortable and gathering a Voliere, a gathering of birds of all sorts set in an often elaborate cage of great proportions, to set out a way of communicating with the world outside and, should you wish it, provide a mean to hunt and gather small game for food. Next would be for you to decide, as what you make of your character and their bloodline is in your hands as I only play out the consequences of each action and throw some interesting opportunities your way.

The city is built near the ocean, where a canyon in the mountains widens enough to make a decent cove and a natural fortress. The Square is the center of this small city, where is erected the Viceroy's Palace south of the Arena and even further south of the five Embassies of the city, belonging to the kingdoms surrounding this freehold. Sixty-Eight plots of lands will be purchasable in the cove, and all of them will be a free slate upon which you will be able to build whatever you want that is doable in this alternate historical setting.

Finally, before I leave you to the features, I am looking for up to ten people for this, so feel free to state interest or ask questions!
