Let's just jump straight to the point and say: don't make this a nation RP, and don't be so SPECIFICALLY wrong, let players have more freedom to do things that make sense

I'd be okay with one person taking an entire team: it would let each person have more tactical control over the matches, and hopefully have more control over the narrative therein. I would be fine with playing a team simply to try out some cool team dynamics things I had an idea for.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound too critical: I just don't think in the interest of pacing there is a reason for my character at least to say much. Advanced RP stipulates long posts, and I don't think it is enough time or materiel for my character to make a post worthwhile. I also know that those the Emperor was talking to have not responded, and that post, though unclear, was meant as a reaction to Hector. The idea was that he might want to just wait it out, before starting meaningful interaction, though obviously that is up to him, and he knows his character better than me. Once again, sorry, I didn't mean to sound critical.

I have no idea where to go from the GM's post. It does not prompt any player actions or reactions, and yet precludes further actions by cutting off before the Emperor does the things he is going to do. It does not show his horse come out, and he just said he is going to interact with us to figure out who among us can ride horses. I think our only recourse is to wait for the GM to post again, because any initiation by the characters will be cut off when the GM posts her stuff, and even if that is in a long time, chronologically in the scene an extended interaction would not make much sense, given the Emperor is JUST ABOUT to do the horse thing.
