Personality: Fun, quirky and aloof, this girl marches to her own drum. She has no filter and usually says what’s on her mind, which can lead to insightful or very awkward situations. She likes to have a good time but is really devoted to her passions, like gardening, and job. Her youth causes her to trip up sometimes and she may not always make the right decision but she makes up by being easy to be around. Sometimes she gets cast aside as the comic relief of the group but don’t be fooled, she has brains and the attitude to back up her claims. Most of the time she prefers to chime in rather than lead the conversation. Some might say she has not grown up yet but perhaps this new world will make for turning point in Em’s life.
Desired Job & Qualifications: Agronomist: She has a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy from a fairly good university. As it was important to promote agriculture on the planet they allowed her to tag along even if she is not the most experienced. She graduated at 22 and spent one year training under a scientist that was offered the position but since they were about to publish a groundbreaking discovery they decided to stay. The glowing recommendation letter might have helped.
Brief Bio: As an only child, Em grew up with her parents doting on her every action . But as she grew up her mother and father started fighting with each other, they never divorced but it was not the most loving environment. When she went to college the distance between her and her folks was widened. Em is also leaving her group of friends on Earth, but she promised to find a way to communicate with them, even if it might not happen.
Reason for Wanting to Leave Earth: It was the opportunity of a lifetime plus the chance to do something important, her parents also hope to get her to grow up a little on this “trip”.
Anything Else You Want to Add? I wanted to make her young since I took a break from rp and want to start with something easier, so let me know if I just have to make her a colonist or something else in order to be more realistic. I looked up online that agronomists can start working with only a bachelors. :D
