"That's another competitor, huh?" Master Roshi tried to confirm, as he tried to re-position himself to get a better look at the man. "You guys sure are making some powerful friends aren't you?" He laughed.
Before Kiro sat down, he walked over to a nearby table where two burly men were playing some sort of card game together. "Can I borrow this, please?" Kiro asked very politely, as he grabbed onto one of the two empty chairs beside them. "Thank you!" He exclaimed before either could answer, leaving them a bit baffled as to why he had even asked. The quickly went back to their card game.
Kiro sat the seat right in between his and Akita's. "Here you go, kid." He offered Shin the chair, as he climbed on to his own, just as the waiter came up.
"How many, four? Must be four since the old man doesn't fight. Four okay. What would you like, young man?" he asked, pointing at the starving Kiro,
"Oh, me?" Kiro nervously reacted as the waiter called on him, he had to make sure he looked like he knew what he was doing; Kiro didn't want to embarrass himself in front of all his friends. "Yes, I believe I'll have the-" Kiro began in a quite sophisticated-sounding tone, being cut off by the waiter just before he could answer.
"Just kidding! Everyone gets the same dish. I'll be back with the food."
Kiro sighed, as his cheeks began to grow red. He messed it all up just by beginning to answer. The boy began to sink in his chair, trying to disappear from the rest of the group.
Roshi stared across the table, as he watched his pupil (Ally) daydream. '
She still must be thinking about her loss. I should say something really inspirational to cheer her up.' Roshi thought to himself, carefully contemplating his next few sentences. "So, how about all the fine ladies here!? I've never seen such beautiful women before!" He exclaimed, as the old master began to describe their body shapes by making various hand motions in the air. He spent most of the latter half of his life on an island by himself, so it was understandable why he'd be getting so excited.
A tall, cute, blonde woman was just starting to leave the pub until she had noticed Kiro. "Awe, that's so cute!" She exclaimed, proceeding to pinch his cheeks, as Kiro attempted pull the woman off of him (to no avail). "Your grandfather's getting you guys a treat before the big tournament, huh?" She questioned, as she stared up at the other two, assuming they were just one big, weird family.
Master Roshi stared the woman up and down more than a couple of times, as he fixed his tie, and made sure his hat was on properly before speaking. "I'm not their grandfather," He calmly spoke, as a glare became present in his glasses. "I'm their older brother!" He exclaimed, leaning over the entire table to get just a bit closer to the woman.
She giggled, assuming it was a joke, as she continued on to the saloon doors, waving back at Kiro. "See you at the fight." She softly spoke, as she looked back once more before exiting the building.
"See you then, honey!" Master Roshi shouted, as he put his head in front of Kiro's, to be in the direction of the wave, now almost completely on the table (legs and all). He waved goodbye to her, as saliva rolled down his chin.
