In the city of Berne, things are not quite what they may seem. It's a new era in the world and many of the creatures that once hid in the shadows walk freely among humans. Some cities, like Berne, are far more welcoming than others and entire sections of the city are now filled almost entire with the supernatural. The Woods Cross district, named after the expansive nearly 50 acre Woods Cross Park, has become an increasingly popular place for creatures of all kinds to make their home and grow their families. A building just adjacent to the park called Huntly Place has recently been renovated into beautiful and spacious two and three bedroom condos. Many of which are now newly occupied by people of all kinds from humans to more exotic species.
Huntly Place is an upscale condominium building with several luxury features including an outdoor and indoor pool, a full-service spa, indoor tennis courts, a fully equipped gym, along with a bar and clubhouse for residents and friends. Condos are either two or three bedroom, roommates can be found by using the free roommate matching service (yours truly) or requested on the lease agreement. The bedrooms are lockable and each has an en-suite bathroom. There is also a shared living space furnished to your's and your roommate's tastes as well as a fully equipped kitchen, other features like a bar or balcony are also available at an increased cost to the renters. There are also many community events held weekly as well for residents to get to know one another and better enjoy the available facilities.
So the roleplay is open to many types of characters, I ask that the characters be able the open doors and push buttons on a keypad (so they can get in and out of the building and up and down the elevators). They also must be able to speak to the other characters in the roleplay verbally. This roleplay is a sandbox and meant to help others as well as myself flesh out new characters prior to using them in more complex roleplays. Humans are allowed here so feel free to play a regular old human. If you're going to play something out of the ordinary please include, with your character sheet, a basic guide to the species you're going to be playing. This should include any noteworthy cultural customs, lifespan, abilities, anything that can readily cause injury or death, and physical parameters.
I would really love it if everyone could post at bare minimum once every other day, preferably though everyone should post at least every day. More than once a day is great just please don't balloon the thread with just two characters. Get a couple of posts in and then wait for some others to post. Keep posts to at least two paragraphs (3-5 sentences), a one paragrapher every once in a while isn't a big deal, sometimes there just isn't much room for interaction. On that note, please remember to leave room for other players to interact with characters. Interactions are how you build the face and personality of a character.

It just needs to be something that can comfortably live in a condo/apartment type setting really. I think a giant spider might have a hard time with a key card and number pad to unlock the door lol

Looking to start an easy going sandbox style roleplay based in a random community. It will have young-ish characters of various species. Characters will interact and live in the same community/complex. This is a chance for you to build a character and develop it to the point it may be used in a more complex roleplay.
The community will be somewhat like an apartment/condo building. I will randomly match characters with roommates for interaction sake. The community will have certain functions and parties characters can attend to increase interaction as well. As stated above you may have fantasy style characters with magic and such. Looking for people who can post every day or every other day and good solid paragraphs, at least two or three per post preferably.
