He has an adventurous streak and desire to take in new information, try new things and experience what the world has to offer.
History:
Growing up, Robin was surrounded by the ideals of heroism, he was born in America where his father and mother were working on gadgets and costume commissions for new hero start ups overseas. Every now and then he was allowed to play around with the latest tool that crime fighters might one day be utilising, sitting in and watching his parents tinker away or draft up designs for new outfits and utilities. Robin's family moved around several times while he was growing up, travelling around the world before returning to his mother's homeland of Japan where they eventually settled down when he was around 9 years old. Until then he had grown used to making friends fast and enjoying the time he had with them, knowing that it was likely limited. He learned to live in the moment and appreciate things in the now rather than worrying too much about what was to be and what had been before.
Given his father's quirk of mechanical manipulation and his mother's wind controlling capabilities, it was quite a surprise to find Robin was a mutant-type but it didn't matter too much as the pair were able to support his growth and provide him the freedom and space to learn to control his flight abilities, even providing gadgets like stabilisers and safety bracers while he got the hang of flying. As their only son, the family unit was always close and supportive, and with their constant involvement with hero agencies all over the world there was little doubt in Robin's mind that he wanted to enter the industry for himself. Following this ambition, when the question arose of where he would go to study his parents cashed in a few contacts and were recommended to Chihaiten Academy where a few of their clients had done their training. And with that, young Robin was taking his first steps on the journey to become a hero.
