Robert seemed to get awfully quiet after Trey spoke. In hindsight, it may have sounded a little too harsh. He never intended to hurt him, or make him all depressed like this. Still, even though he could have chosen his words a little more carefully, he stood by what he said. Robert could easily get himself, or possibly even someone else, killed if he kept this up. Hopefully Trey's words would be enough to get him to break his habit of wandering away from the group.

Thankfully, they made it to the other end of the cave without running into any major problems. Shortly after, though, Trey spotted something on the horizon. It was a horse, pulling a cart behind it. That could only mean one thing.
"Humans." Trey muttered under his breath. They were able to defeat that group of humans that they ran into before, and this group probably wouldn't be much stronger than them. As the cart got closer, Robert set it on fire, and the humans inside jumped out to escape the blaze. Dorisma and Deravan moved in to attack, and since they were caught off guard, the humans weren't able to avoid anything. Trey flew in and used a fire spell, which, and even though it didn't kill him, one more hit from someone else in the group probably would.

The Salamence had taken a lot of attacks at this point, and clearly couldn't take that much more. After the poison from Josh's Sludge Bomb, all it took to knock it out was one more Shadow Rush from Daniel. With that out of the way, they were free to keep climbing the tower, at least until another wild Pokemon showed up.
"We've got to be close to the top by now, right?" Josh said, peering out of one of the holes in the wall. They were pretty high up at this point, but he couldn't really tell how much higher they'd have to climb. For all he knew, they might be nowhere near the top.

Whatever was over by the bushes was already gone by the time Dexter went over to investigate. He looked around for any sign of him, but to no avail.
"Fuck it. Let him run." Dexter said. "Keep your guard up, though. Just in case he decides to attack."
A roar then echoed through the mountains, which seemed to startle Nina a little. Dexter couldn't understand why. That was the kind of thing you'd expect to hear all the time on Mt. Dragoncoil.

After taking a quick moment to rest, the team continued along the path. They didn't make it far before their path was blocked by yet another wild Pokemon. This time, it was a Golett. Nina attacked first, by cloaking her body in some kind of light, then slamming into it. Dexter hadn't seen an attack like that before, but decided that it was best not to ask her about it in the middle of a fight. He got up close, and bit into the Golett's shoulder. Considering that it was made of stone, his teeth sunk in surprisingly easily. This may have been because of type advantages or something, but Dexter wasn't really an expert on this sort of thing.
Despite Deravan and Dorisma's efforts to catch up, the golem was easily able to outrun them. Even though they both seemed disappointed that they didn't get a chance to finish it off, it probably would have taken a while, and they needed to finish this mission as fast as possible if they wanted to make it back to the stronghold before nightfall.

Trey was about to keep heading for the dust, but then he noticed that Robert had wandered off again. It didn't take long for him to get back, but having to wait for him to return every time was beginning to get annoying.
"Robert, perhaps it would be best if you stopped trying to lead the group." Trey suggested. "This habit of yours only serves to slow us down, and I'd rather be back at the stronghold as soon as possible."
No, we were just waiting for lavul.

Spruce's plan worked, and he was somehow able to not only knock out the Charizard, but also take an Ice Fang like it was nothing. Josh figured that he'd been using some kind of boosting move for most of the fight. If that was the case, he should be able to hold his own for the rest of the fight, unless the Salamence managed to lucky.

The Salamence posed much more of a threat to Josh than the Charizard did. Celes could block Dragon Claw without harming herself, but that wouldn't be the case with Ice Fang. He retreated too the back of the group and began to launch Sludge Bombs at the Salamence from a distance, hoping that he wouldn't draw too much attention to himself by doing this.

Dexter didn't think that Ember would be enough to knock the Swablu out, but apparently it was weaker than he thought. Now that that was over, they could focus on their mission, at least until another wild Pokemon attacked. Fortunately, this didn't happen for quite some time, and when they did run into another group of Pokemon, it was another team. It was the same one they ran into earlier, and once again the Lopunny ran away. "The fuck is her problem?" Dexter asked. She obviously had some reason for avoiding them.

Nina then suggested that they take a break, since one of them was starting to get tired. Dexter didn't really expect them to make it all the way to the top without a break. They probably weren't raised in the mountains like he was, and would tire out faster than he would. "Alright, we'll take a break for a few minutes. I don't want either of to pass out from-"
He cut his sentence short when he heard the sound of rustling behind them, which was followed by the sound of someone laughing. He began to slowly approach the source of the sound, ready to attack if something jumped out at him.
And I posted. Sorry that took so long.
The golem endured a few attacks, and then, as if it suddenly realized how strong they were, it stopped attacking, and attempted to flee. Trey saw no reason to waste his energy chasing it, especially when it no longer posed any sort of threat to them. Deravan and Dorisma, on the other hand, felt the need to finish it off before it escaped, but considering how agile it was, that may be more difficult than they think.
I thought it was your turn, too. I'll post as soon as I can.

Spruce seemed to have an idea, and a stupid one at that. From what Josh could tell, it involved him having Kamina cool down the ground so he could stand on it. This would leave him open to an attack from the Charizard or Salamence, which most likely wouldn't end well.
"Spruce, I don't know what exactly you're planning, but it's probably best if you stayed on Kamina's head." Josh said. "I think we can handle them without you putting yourself in danger like this."
Josh used Thunderbolt on the Charizard once again. Considering how many attacks it's been taking, it should be going down soon.

[Dexter]
Before the Swablu flew back up into the air, Nina managed to Double Kick it, which did a fair amount of damage. Hoping to knock it out as soon as possible, Dexter used Ember on it, which seemed to do some damage, but not quite enough to knock it out.
"Come on. Let's knock it out before it roosts again." Dexter said. He hoped that Rebecca's attack would be enough to finish it off.
