Dr. Long's eyes widened when an odd duck mamodo had rushed towards them in a frenzy of determination for battle. He was especially surprised at the power the mamodo, Kali, had left in her. It was the human that was the problem. Watching the duck mamodo fly by, he turned and grinned funnily at the two. "Seems you must restore your energy from within anyway. Come. I'll make tea." He chuckled, opening the door further for them and walking inside of his house. They couldn't attack anymore. Not now at least. They would have to store their energy. Liesl, who sat on the staircase, watched the pair warily in the doorway. Yes, their heart energy was down.. But what business did they have talking to the Doctor?

Welcoming the pair to his living room area, he set down cups of tea and sat down on his chair, sighing loudly. "Before we discuss anything, how about we get associated? As you already know, I am Cornelius Long." Liesl was sitting on the armchair of the Doctor's own chair, and she politely folded her hands in her lap, her small legs hanging off the front. "This is my mamodo partner, Liesl." He gestured towards the two, smiling. "And it seems my partner knows of you, my dear. Kali, is it? You've quite a reputation."

Liesl's grey eyes stared down at her boots. The Doctor then looked at Sev. "And you are? I can't say I've seen you around."
Aw, Magus, that's such a cute pair! ^3^ <3
Liesl had eventually come down from the rooftop, knowing the destruction of battles were beginning all around the world. The power around her.. it took a toll on feeling it all. But that was the cost of battle; that was the cost of becoming King. Liesl watched Dr. Long fill out paperwork, and his ears perked whenever he heard a knock. Liesl's whole body felt heavy. That enormous amount of power.. It weighed so heavily on her. She paled, staring down at her boots. It wasn't Kali's style, though, to knock on a door. She would burst in, guns firing, spirit ablaze.

Dr. Long stood, setting down his smokes and looking over at Liesl. "It's a mamodo, isn't it?" He whispered. Liesl nodded. "A mamodo you know?" He asked, and Liesl stood, walking over to the door. "A mamodo everyone knows. Of." That, and a mysterious human partner. The Doctor followed her down the stairs, hands in his pocket. He stared at the doorknob, opening it as Liesl waited on the staircase.

At the sight of the two, the Doctor grinned. So, he thought, this is the famous Kali. "Hello, I don't believe we've met. What can I do for you today? Neither of you look sick." He examined, leaning against his threshold side. "Or is a relative sick? I do make house calls." He smiled innocently.
cx Yes, yes, congratulations! <3 *claps*
Yay for page 2 of the IC! ^^
The second spell!

Kali's voice echoed in Liesl's ears as she sensed a warring battle go on and on. The other two, the pair that Liesl couldn't quite put her finger on, didn't seem interested in battling. They're so close. A couple of miles from the Doctor's house in that woods. Liesl walked over to the window and opened it, standing outside the sill and jumping on to the roof. Her pupils dilated to become larger, and she could see that distinguishing head of white hair and merciless red eyes. And Kali's partner.. Liesl's eyebrows furrowed. He seemed to not get involved in the mamodo's sadistic nonsense.

And as for the other pair.. Liesl's eyes locked on a simple floating black cloak. She couldn't tell if he was peaceful or not. Same for the partner. Brushing off her dress, Liesl's boots padded on the roof to get a better view of the sky. She could practically taste the battle from up there, and hopefully see either mamodos' destruction.
Dr. Long stared over at the mamodo criss-crossing her legs on his bed, her eyes shut as she seemed to be meditating. After a couple of seconds, they snapped open and she felt an undeniable pulse in her chest and ears. Even in the tiny horns her head was growing. "What's wrong?" He asked, setting his lighter on his desk. Liesl did not reply for a long amount of time. That power she sensed.. There was no mistaking it. Kali. A famed, powerful psychopath in the mamodo world. She had never talked with her directly nor indirectly, and she was sure she had never even made eye contact--a wise decision--but that power and fame was doubtless.

And another power.. one she wasn't so sure of, and one that was not subtle enough for her to remember. But it was dark, very dark, maybe even darker than the whole concept of the mamodo battle. She bit the inside of her cheek. "It has begun." She stood, holding her book tightly to her beating chest. "We must constantly be on our toes." But, as she sensed it, something had.. ceased.
"You eat like you've never seen food before, kid," Lina Brown observed, her nose poking out from the spellbook she was reading at the breakfast table. Meanwhile, Bavol was scarfing down fish, eggs, and toast with demonic, sharp teeth. Lina's eyes slowly drifted to the first spell, and she grinned a bit. "Well, keep eating. It will give you strength for this.. battle." Her eyebrows furrowed and she shut the book, placing it in her bag. Bavol peered up at the red-haired woman, setting five plates aside and clearing his throat. "Thanks." He softly spoke, and Lina reclined in her chair, propping her feet on the table. She smirked. "When do you figure it will begin?" She asked, but Bavol could only manage a shrug. "Beats me. Soon, I'm sure. Mamodo tend to be.. impatient and thirsty."

This was the third cigarette he had lit. Liesl had counted in her head. The young mamodo ignored his habit, however, and stared out the window with calculating grey eyes. "You seem calm," The Doctor observed, his eyebrows raised as he watched the back of his partner, noting the curly waves of hair that rested on her back. "You're not interested in becoming King, love?" The British Doctor tipped his head in curiosity, his mamodo not moving in an inch.

"No," She finally replied. "I'm interested in making sure it does not fall in the wrong hands. I'm interested in keeping the Human World safe during this battle." Liesl's sharp eyes turned to meet Dr. Long's, and she gripped the windowsill.

"And you will be sure to play your part well, Doctor."
