Because both of her parents, (considerably her father) are Military Soldiers, there was a high chance they would die out in the field. That's what they were trying to get Eve, and her brothers to understand.

Considering they have similar pasts, Eve would probably grow attached pretty quick seeing as she'll have someone to relate too.

Also, I'll start working on my introduction post for her! I have another character, her brother Gale, but since he's in the Scouting Legion would it be cool if I introduced him later? (I'll have his CS up soon btw o:)

Ethnicity: Irish

Personality: Eve is a mirror image of her father. Optimistic, resilient, and adventurous. Her quirky attitude often leads others to believe she’s rather dense, however Eve is an incredibly bright girl. She views life in a realistic, and blunt way, but she always know’s what to say in the most dire of times to rile everyone up. Holding a great terror of Titans, she never lets it stop her from chasing her dreams. Living by the words of her father,

"It’s alright to be afraid, but do not let it dictate your life."

Brief History:

Pre-Military History

Growing up as the youngest of four in a Military Family, Eve Durnin had always assumed high expectations upon herself from the start. With both parents in different branches of the Military, and all three of her older brothers striving to join them and continue on the family heritage, it was only right for Eve to want to strive for the top.

In the eyes of their children, Malachi and Sarah Durnin were seen as heroes, but while her brothers Joshua and Leon looked up to their mother who was a member of the Garrison, Eve idolized her father and her eldest brother, Gale. Holding her father above the rest however, he was everything she dreamed of becoming. With more than 20 years of experience, Malachi Durnin was one of the Legions finest soldiers. Sitting among the ranks as a Squad Leader and Second in Command, Malachi was invincible in the eyes and mind of his daughter.

Employed in such hazardous occupations, Malachi and Sarah had no choice but to reveal the cruel truth of the world to their children at a young age. Death was the only certainty in this in this life, but despite having this drilled into the their heads since they were young, no one was prepared for the news that was soon to come.

After a three month long expedition, the Scouting Legion had returned from outside the walls, but upon arrival only her eldest brother had returned. In an act to save Gale, and a number of his comrades their father sacrificed his life. Stricken with grief her family had little time to mourn the loss; not even a week after returning from the expedition Gale had been called back to duty, and with Leon and Joshua soon to begin their Military Training, and Eve preparing for her own enlistment they had no choice but to move on.

With no other choice but to accept the painful reality of the loss of her father, Eve decided that after Military Training she would join her eldest brothers side in the Scouting Legion and follow in fathers footsteps carrying on his dream to one day set humanity free.

-Xia(Friend): During the beginning of Military Training, Xia and Eve had quickly come to know one another on the training field. Xia's dedication towards her training, and hardworking attitude drew Eve in, and as their partnership on the field continued Eve grew comfortable enough to call the other girl a friend. Learning of her past, and slowly gaining Xia's trust, Eve grew fond of the other girl knowing she finally had someone she could relate, and rely on.

I have a character ready to use that I created for an AOT roleplay, before the Guild fell, and I was wondering if it'd be alright to use her?
I'm still rather attached to her, but if you'd prefer me to create a new character that'd be fine as well! ^^

Something was definitely not right about this mission, however Vydia simply couldn't put her finger on it. While it was too early to claim any oddities the woman couldn't help but feel that the other AI was still holding back information. His words did nothing to reassure her either, if anything it only added to more of her questions. Finding it hard to trust the man, Vydia's mind began to clutter with questions but before anymore could be answered their transportation to Nihon had finally arrived.

Following behind the other three, Vydia came to halt once on board, casting a final glance over her should her eyes made contact with the unfamiliar AI before the cargo bay door closed. A nervous flutter had entered her chest, but now that the mission was finally beginning she knew this was no time to get worked up. Pulled from her thoughts by the loud clang of the ramp closing shit Vydia returned her gaze to her teammates as a a heavy hum came from the airship as it began its course to their destination.

"This should be easy enough, just don't go stirring up trouble. I'm looking at you blondie."

Her eyes shot from the taller woman to the small blonde standing beside Myriel. Vydia was definitely not expecting to team up with such an unlikely bunch, however with the circumstances at hand the Champion knew she had no other choice. Considering her teammates had already become aquatinted with each other earlier, Vydia decided it was finally time to converse. With the box still tucked safely under her arm the Champion stepped closer to the other three. Clearing her throat quietly to gather their attention her eyes met with the others as she spoke, "Now that the missions begun, I think its time I introduce myself." Giving another polite nod the AI continued, "My name is Vydia, I look forward to working with you three."
