It's interesting being the indecisive introverted leader of your group of very indecisive introverted friends.

It's fun to think that play-by-post roleplays are basically just one giant rough draft.

A quick thank you to Mahz and his minions for making this site into what it is! I've yet to encounter a RP site so aesthetically & OCD pleasing. You guys are the best!

It was so... kind of you to stop by.

Just wanted to wish you a happy Halloween! Even though it sadly falls on a weekday, I hope it is still spooky and filled with fun for you!
…when he felt a nagging buzz of energy inviting him -- no, tempting him -- to let magic settle the disagreement.
No! What are you thinking?! Ghent dropped his arm and clenched his fists in refusal. He wouldn't give in. Magic could do more harm than good, and potentially hurt the both in the process.
Polarize

Yes. My gosh, yes! I LOVE that!

Hmm. I’d say maybe both.

:-D

Wow! That’s impressive you still have your first one. I have no idea what happened to mine. I’ve seen those! They’re so weird. It’s crazy how they’re trying to bring back so many old shows. Some successfully, I’ll admit, but with others… WHY EVEN?

Oh my gosh. I’d call that the Drunken Tea Party.

Isn’t it great? Besides the editor needing to be fired, anyway. xD Probably should have warned you: the free version is a demo, as you’ve likely found out by now. I had a bit left from a gift card, so figured what the hey. I suppose you do and you don’t ‘win’ it. You have the main, originally planned story, with other possible endings you can run into if you don’t pick the correct options to continue the intended story. It gives you the option to return to the last selection if you choose one that leads to one of those other endings. And I agree about their Cheshire Cat!

Well, I’m honored you’re so enthusiastic about it! And great about Drust’s matching your imaginings! Heh, nah, not weird at all. Hmm. I was going to answer your wondering, but that seems like something that may potentially come up in IC. But I’m curious. What answer are you rooting for?
Elayra scowled at Ghent’s question. “If I wasn’t, I wouldn’t be walking, would I?” she snapped as they cleared the few feet remaining between them and Hollow Forest. With her foot scarcely half a step from the dirt floor of the woods, she released Ghent and hesitated a moment more.
She contemplated giving Ghent a warning, but then, there really was nothing anyone could say to prepare someone for their first step in Hollow Forest. So instead, she cast a glare at him.
“And don’t you ever shout someone’s weakness again!” she hissed, her gaze hard, then she turned on her heels, braced herself as well as she could, and stepped into Hollow Forest.
As soon as they passed beneath the protective tree barrier, an eerie silence settled around them, a silence that made one appreciate exactly how much noise is always there, even in the quietest of moments. The oppressive sensation of emptiness, regret, and despair greeted them, as if the sorrows of the world had sunk into the earth and coalesced in the soil of the forest. The intense hues of the foliage around them created a beauty that looked more like a Photoshop job than reality, a beauty ill-placed among the emotions that prickled at the edges of their consciousness, waiting to be allowed full entrance into the minds and hearts of any soul too weak to block it out.
Around them, the morning sun peaked through the emerald leaves, dappling the vines meandering their way about the forest floor and climbing up any surface they could cling to. Dust motes floated lazily in and out of the young rays, glittering in a peaceful façade, as immune to the aura around them as the vegetation.
Elayra shivered. She placed her left hand on her sword, gripping the hilt tightly. A few paces out, she turned to make sure both Ghent and Drust followed, incapable of hiding her unease as she tried to guard her mind and emotions.

Izzy watched Holden until he disappeared around a corner. She sighed, hoping they could both get service when they needed it, between the school’s location and the effects of Mikey’s aberration. If worse came to worse, she would just have to wait for him to return.
She turned to find Mikey sitting on the bench further down the trail, and slowly went to join him. She sat down beside him, shivering slightly at the chill of the metal seeping through her pants. She watched him for a short moment before speaking.
“How long has this been going on for? You being ‘the lost calf.’ Do you remember anything weird happening that could have caused it?”

Mmm. Gotta love those fiery colors!
Maybe start with him catching her scent. An extremely recent scent. Just having him there would kind of be like skipping a scene in a movie. Even a simple connecting sentence can make a world of difference. And I need to get Thea caught up time-wise. Where I left her is at dark. You have him at dawn. So, perhaps end with him engaging her on a trail? Then I will end with her reactions, which would put us at the same times with them... Hope that made sense.
Hey, you totally should have done it! There's nothing wrong with dressing up even if you aren't Trick-or-Treating. Wear it while handing out candy, or go roam about randomly wearing it.

You're most welcome!

Okay. They would have to be pretty close to start with, then. So, you want their meeting/fight to be close to the tail end of his episode? Just want to make sure I understood that. :-)

Aww, man! That sucks. Hope you figure out what's wrong with it, and that it's fixable without getting a new one!

Izzy sighed when Mikey crossed his arms. She supposed she should not have expected anything else, but it had been worth a try.
“Yeah?” she said at her name, and looked to Holden. She straightened as he spoke, considering his words. She had been thinking maybe it had to do just with the kid and his mother, but Holden made a good point.
When he gestured, she looked over to the bike rack just outside the trailhead of the park she and Holden had met at. Her attention returned to him when he stepped closer, her head cocking slightly when he whispered.
She looked at him curiously, then nodded. He had not exactly tried to hide that he did not care for children, but the direct request confirmed it.
“Good idea.” She placed her hands in her pockets to hide them from a chill autumn wind that blew through the street. “Lock’s combo is seventy-four thirty-two.”
Question answering time!

1. His gender doesn't change, so 'he' would work just fine, but 'it/the wolf' also works well since, like you said, it isn't exactly him. Depending on what sort of POV it's in, I'd probably use a mix of 'he' (since his gender is known) and 'the wolf' (since he isn't in control) in place of his name, but that's just my style. Do whatever you think sounds best in the whole grand scheme of things!

2. Of course! I figured it would be shorter, since we're getting back into closer character interaction. I just had a lot to say last time still.

3. Whatever we want to do. What do you feel like? How long do we want to let Thea and Byrce duke it out before either Zane jumps in, or his episode wears out? Do you want him to attack her (that'd make more mental regret for your guy, if you felt like being that much more evil to him. xD), or for Zane to intervene and take the brunt of the attack?

Well, you're running out of time! I'd love to know if you decide on something! Mine's a sort of Raven Queen. But not.
Nah, you're not. Just wanted to make sure you were still alive in some form of the word! I'd have been quite sad if you weren't. I understand being busy and/or lacking inspiration/will to write something. Take as long as you need. I'll just pop in every now and again to poke you to make sure you're not dead.

Always. Got my costume all ready to go! Woo!
