[Zombie World] The Walking Dead [Full]

After several minutes of pointless driving Kei came upon the community center. The area around the community center was quiet lively considering he saw more people than he did in his own neighborhood. Kei shifted his car into neutral and observed the area around the community center a bit more before making a decision. He weighed the various pros and cons of approaching an area where there could be a possible threat, but he also weighed the possibility of finding help. It wasn't long before he made up his mind. Regardless of what could happen he wanted to figure out what was going on and on top of that he always thought that there was strength in numbers. With a short sigh Kei shifted back into drive and slowly made his way to the community center.

Once he came into a walking distance of the community center he immediately parked his car and turned it off. Once he had his keys from the ignition, he exited the car, closing the door gently. Once he was out he clicked the locker on his keys and then proceeded onto the front entrance of the community center. Since there were these infected things all around him, Kei had to be careful about where he moved because if he got overwhelmed Kei knew he would be screwed. Something that was part of instinct also told him to keep noise to a minimum, guess it came with the raw feeling of survival he was getting from the current situation.

As he quietly moved from car to car he drew the nodachi that hung loosely on his back, the blade itself did not have much reach so he had to make sure that if he were to engage one of these things, that he would be safe from any other things attacking him at the same time. It wasn't too hard to avoid the infected things, every now and again he would pickup a rock near him and throw it at something that would make some noise. He did his best to avoid hitting cars as a car alarm going off would mean a lot of trouble for him and anyone else in the area, but things never go as planned. Kei had picked up a rock near his foot, it was a pretty hefty rock but it didn't seem all that bad to throw, obviously he didn't take into account of accidentally releasing the rock too early. At mid throw Kei's hand opened up slightly causing the rock to fling out of his hand with the momentum he had built up, in turn the rock went flying straight into a nearby car's windshield, causing the car to begin blaring it's horrendous alarm for everyone and everything to hear within a few several hundreds of feet.

Kei was caught completely off guard and once he heard the alarm blaring he jumped a bit. At first he panicked but after realizing what he had done he jumped up and made a full on sprint towards the building entrance. One good thing that came out of the mistake was that every infected thing around him was attracted to the noise making it easy for him to get to the doors. He knocked on the door a few times while speaking up a bit.「Hello is anyone in there? If so can you please let me in?」He continued knocking while at the same time looking back at the situation he caused.

Kei had sat in his living room for what seemed to be two hours before he snapped out of the shock he was in from hearing the announcement over the news. He honestly did not know what to do especially since in the next few days he was supposed to be on a plane to Japan. He was utterly confused and could not believe the luck he was having right at that moment. It wasn’t long before he finally got up from the couch and slapped both cheeks with either of his hands.「Come on Kei you can't just sit here; you got to move.」Once he snapped out of his state of confusion he immediately moved to one of the windows to look at the current situation outside. To his surprise it was rather calm, he expected there to be chaos in the streets, with people going house to house gathering what supplies they could get their hands on. Seeing as the roads were still somewhat clear, Kei jumped right into action. He picked up his backpack, which was lying on the floor of the living room, and dashed straight into his room. He opened up the backpack and then threw it onto his bed, he reached up onto an overhead shelf that sat above his bed and pulled down a clear display case. Inside sat a nodachi. He took it in his two hands as if it were a treasure, when in reality it really wasn’t. Kei admired the nodachi in his hands for a brief second before throwing it down next to his backpack. Once the case was emptied he moved to his closet where a safe sat in the very back corner. Since it wasn’t bolted down, Kei put both hands on top of it and pulled it towards him with some effort. He quickly put in the lock combination into the keypad, unlocking the safe. Once inside he took the FN Five-seveN that sat at the top and the spare magazines and bullets that was one level below the gun itself and threw them onto the bed as well. Before leaving his closet he did make sure to grab a jacket since it wasn’t a bad idea to be prepared.「Gun...check. Bullets…check. Nodachi…check. Jacket…check.」Upon completion of the mental check, he made sure the gun’s safety was on before sliding it into his front waist band of his jeans. He then covered it up with his shirt and made his way into the kitchen, where he would grab some food and basic medical supplies.

Once Kei was sure he had everything he needed he made his way into the garage, he stopped in the garage and looked between the car and bicycle, he had to contemplate his choice since he didn’t know which one would be the better choice for the situation. In the end Kei took the keys to car off of the wall near the light switch and hopped into the car. Once Kei was all set he opened the garage door and backed out of the driveway and began driving, he really didn’t have a specific destination in mind though so he was in for the long haul.

No usually it's only given to children as an incentive nothing more they get ranked just like older crowds would. Older crowds just get a ranking. there's more to it I just gave the basic down and dirty explanation of it, I never really go into learning about the rankings and all

Personality-

Keita, or Kei for short, is the type of person that does not come off as a friendly person at first, but once someone gets to know him, he is a really kind and caring person. Kei is not the type to speak out against others but if the situation requires him to; he does not hesitate to say something. One flaw of his personality is that he is selfless to a fault; basically he will do things for others to the point where he doesn’t realize he needs to help himself. Tying into that, he does not like to ask for help unless he absolutely needs it since he does not like to come off as weak to others. Kei is not the type to give up easily, once he has a goal in mind he does not stray from that goal, which can also be a double edged sword for him.

History-

Kei spent a lot of his childhood in Japan and South Korea. Since his father was Japanese and his mother was South Korean he spent a lot of time going back and forth between the two countries; obviously he spent enough time in both to complete both grade school and lower secondary school. He didn’t keep to himself much as a child, it was the opposite really, wherever he was, he always managed to find himself with a good group of friends, he did get in trouble here and there, but as a kid who didn’t get into some trouble here and there. Although he did get out a lot he found time for himself through playing video games and such. His life was pretty laid back and easy since his family wasn’t strict on him. As a child he did spend a lot of time with his sister so as the years went on they were very close with each other. The day he decided to move away was a hard decision since that would mean leaving his family behind, especially his sister, along with his life basically.

Although it was a hard decision he, in the end, decided to move away. He moved in with some relatives in the States. He also pursued his upper secondary education in the States since he moved there right after finishing his lower secondary education. He enjoyed his time there but as he was coming to his graduation he made his decision to move back to Japan. After a year and a half of post-secondary education, he moved back to Japan to continue his post-secondary education, but that wasn’t the main reason, his main reason was because he missed his family and wanted to be able to see them again. That all changed though as three days before his flight back the outbreak happened, changing his plans forever, and diminishing his hope of getting back to pretty much nothing.

Other-

Kei stands at an average 183 cm or 6’0” he weighs out at about 89 kg or 185 lbs. He is somewhat built but not to the point of a body builder. Since he exercised regularly his stamina is above average. Although he exercises regularly he still does not like to get exhausted as it makes him physically sick, so if he can avoid it he will.

Kei is well versed in various martial arts such as Judo, Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Kenpo, Kendo and Iaido. He may be well versed but that does not mean he is a master at them all. At most he has mastered only Kendo and Iaido and even then he did not do it long enough to officially master it.

Kei is a decent shot, as long as his target is within a reasonable range he can hit his mark.

Kei knows some basic medical procedures; pretty much stuff that any other person would be able to do as long as the supplies are available.

Kei is a self-proclaimed “amazing” cook but in reality unless it is instant or easily microwavable he is prone to catching it on fire.
