@Buddha That's the good part about beliefs: you aren't required to believe exactly what those before you did. You make your own beliefs by choice.

- I think it'd be easier to limit to one or a few cities to make it easier for IC-IRL get-togethers
- I like the class-and-race idea and leave it at that. If we did want to throw in some stats for challenges/contests/etc., we could use a stat-rank system (each stat has a rank E-S). Each class limits what weapons the player can use and determines the base stats (if we use them)

@Buddha True. I have heard a few churches that participated in "the occult", but the Shaman side of my beliefs is more so a reference to Native American Spirituality. I don't know my ancestors, so I don't claim to be of NA descent, but I have had a dream a "certified" Shaman claims is a Shaman's Journey. I have no physical proof, which is why I have all the disclaimers and quotes, but it seems to be more than just occult practices in Christianity.

@Light Well, if it's high-scifi/fantasy, then you can avoid it by using future tech and magic in lieu of (or in addition to) medieval weapons.
