Putin threatens nuclear war

So Boerd said Russia need not use the nuke, only threaten it, as they are now.Russia would be annihilated, but say, 30 million of us would go. Russia would be risking nothing. We won't nuke them just for threatening us, so if by some miracle we found the nerve to stand up to Putin, he would back down.

A threat alone makes allies shake in their boots. Russia ain't stupid, they're just power playing. If Putin is truly honest and from where I'm standing, they're trying to appear bigger than they seem. A pissing contest unless their is something major happening behind the scenes with the Russia economy that would make war available option. I don't really follow that side of politics in that area of the world.

Nice :) I was hoping to have 4 players participating (excluding myself). Base on my experience that's the magic number then I would keep the OOC open. This RP was meant to be light where people may come and go as they please :)

It's to my belief that whoever uses a nuke first loses all their allies. Besides, China has too much in stake in the US economy to side with Russia, there goes one of the motherlands main backers, financially speaking.

Open Roads is a Slice of Life RP. As an RP it's rather ‘episodic’ in the sense that there is no overlaying plot asides from the one generated by the players themselves. To keep things interesting, the GM may provide scenarios which players respond to. It takes place in Open Roads, a shelter for runaway and homeless teens. They provide temporary housing, food and specialized counseling for the troubled youth. Open Roads is a safe place for teens to face and confront their problems versus running away and avoiding them. The staff are trained to understand, work with and advocate for teens who run from problems or difficult family situations. The RP isn’t confined within the walls of the shelter. Players are free to roam the city which they are free to define. There is no definite location asides that the shelter is located in the periphery of a metropolis such as New York and Atlanta City.

Players take up the role as a runaway/homeless teen who sought shelter in Open Roads. As the name suggest, characters are not allowed to be older than 18 or younger than 13 years old. A player may have up to three (3) characters. Staff members are reserved for the GM and are Non-Playable Characters (NPC). Players may refer and characterized them but may not control them.

2. Posting Standard: Free Casual – Proper grammar and structure is observe i.e. no text-speak and no one-liners. Speed-Posting is discourage but won’t be moderated. Please keep your posts within the range of a few sentences to a paragraph, more is encourage.

3. Content Standard: Free Casual – There isn’t any strict rules regarding content but please keep it logical and within the RPverse i.e. realistic. Characterization is highly encourage but not enforced.

4. Fair Play and Observe Standards – No railroading, godmodding and meta-gaming. It’s unpleasant for other players.

Try this: Lilith heard about a high class party up state. Things were getting a little tense in Uni, seeing that there was a recent murder and she was interview by the cops. Maybe a little party would set her nerves at easy. Since it's up state, she remembers that's where Maria used to live, curiosity took over and she just have to find out more. There is two ways you can connect Lilith to the church, either by talking to the parents or you overheard/heard/told by Maria that she's part of/used to be part of a church.
